My husband and myself had the worst experience at this hotel this morning. We woke up to hearing an alarm. we couldn't tell where it was coming from so after looking for awhile we decided to call the front desk to report it. It was a friendly call and the receptionist said it most likely was an alarm coming from the room next to us since it sometimes happens due to the cleaning persons accidentally hitting the alarm button when cleaning off the alarms, which activates it for a 6am wake up. The receptionist asked me which direction I thought it was coming from and I told her I thought it was to the left of our room. our call ended and I got in the shower and my husband received a callback from the front desk saying they wanted to know if they could come in our room to hear the sound because they couldn't find it. My husband informed them I was in the shower so it wasn't a good time, again this was a pleasant call. At about 5 min before 11am we got a loud knock on the door. I put a towel on and answered the door. No one was there but I could tell the person was in the next room so I said "hello, can I help you?" A woman who identified herself as the General Manager came out and said "are you leaving today?". I said "yes, we need about 15 min". She barked back "I have a cleaning crew that needs to get in there so you have to leave now!". I said "ok, we are leaving" and in that statement I explained how we had spent some time trying to find the sound of an alarm this morning and it put us behind a bit but we were getting out. She yelled back at me "Thats not my fucken problem!". My husband heard this and came out of the room and yelled at her to never talk to his wife like that!". She stated screaming and cussing at him. he yelled and cussed back at her and said they were calling the cops. We said "great, we welcome them coming because there should be video and audio of the way they behaved. They had a retired officer who was now doing maintenance on the property come talk to us and we explained our experience with this woman and we wanted her info to report her. I then pulled out my phone and said "sir, look at the time, its now 11:06am and this all has transpired in this time". he agreed it seemed inappropriate behavior for what time it was. The cops came and again we explained what happened and we all decided to deescalate the issue and left 10 min later. We are a retired couple who are pulling our 5th wheel across country and decided to stay at a hotel (which we have been doing, a few nights in the 5th wheel and a few stays here and there at places we think will be a nice change of pace). We never were able to get them to share the name of this "General Manager" but we do plan on getting this info to her boss because the way we were treated was disgusting. This person should not be running a hotel and our perception of her was that she was using drugs because she was so aggressive and disorderly for no reason what so ever. this is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I hope this info gets to her boss and to anyone thinking of staying at this hotel. read more

While on a recent cycling trip across the US,, I fell ill with some type of food poisoning around Jackson. I had someone actually drive me from Jackson to Dillon and I was able to get a room for the evening. (I actually ended up staying two days in order to recover.) I can't remember being that ill in my adult life! And since I was riding a bicycle (and could not get very far away from a bathroom), I could not easily get to a store to get food or medicine. That is where members of the Fairbridge staff stepped up to help me in my desperate time of need. Tonya (General Manager ) volunteered to go to the local supermarket and get me chicken noodle soup and NyQuil! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that kind gesture! Later, that same day, I figured out that I needed Pepto-Bismol to stop the other chronic symptoms I was having. I asked Ellie at the front desk if there was anyone that could help me with getting Pepto-Bismol and she graciously volunteered to get it herself. However, I had no more ready cash on me so she went to the store, got me Pepto-Bismol...at her own cost! I cannot praise these two people enough and they helped me recover and get back on the road. One footnote... I am still cycling across the United States, but I wanted to take the time to leave a review to acknowledge the fantastic staff members at the Fairbridge in Dillon and how much I am grateful for their care concern for their guests. read more

A quick trip to Dillon for a funeral. We booked a room at the FairBridge Inn. The booking was easy, the staff was super friendly, the amenities were great. The only complain is the room reeked of cigarette smoke. A deep cleaning is in order. Probably won't stay there again. read more

This hotel had an ok online price and good reviews so we booked. It was a bit disappointing. Just some attention to detail would help this establishment a lot. Check in was difficult - they couldn't locate our reservation and we had an email confirmation. The room key didn't work when we first attempted to get in the room. The pool is closed for unexpected circumstances and the hot tub had no water in it. The curtains are directly over the fan unit so they billow and flap into the room when the unit is on - we resolved that issue by leaning the ironing board up against the window. The fridge was on low but everything in the fridge was frozen in the morning. They did have hot/ cold breakfast options but according to the menu there should be cinnamon rolls and toast. Neither were present. The fruit is an apple and there were 2 left. On the positive side the beds are comfy, the rooms are spacious, plenty of parking and it was quiet. read more

The good: The rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. The biggest fridge I've ever seen in a hotel room was VERY appreciated! Liked having a second sink in the hotel room in the little kitchen area. Hotel had a nice lobby and the wood railing on the stairs was classy looking. The fitness room had a nice window and it's own A/C unit! There was a full breakfast that was pretty amazing! Staff was super friendly. Indoor pool (did not use). The bad: The shower. The curtain was too short and kept coming out of the tub while leaking water into the bathroom. One broken treadmill in the fitness room. Still have the old style (but reliable) wall mounted heat/AC unit in the room. TV was way too difficult to get to regular tv channels. Suggestion to the hotel: Lose the showers with curtains. They are just gross feeling, especially when they cling to you. Spend the money on improving the shower room. The excessive cabinets in the kitchen area are unnecessary. read more

Cookie!! The cookie at check in was divine! I had 2 because they were so fresh and chewy!! As you probably read on a previous review, there is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs. We were on the second floor and it did not bother us at all. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The front desk staff was amazing! I wish I would have gotten her name to post here. The gal the next morning was not as chipper, but still friendly. The breakfast is a typical hotel breakfast, not awesome, but not terrible either. I don't judge hotel continental breakfasts too harshly. They are free, so you can't expect 5 star! read more

The staff is great. Friendly and helpful. But a woman who claimed to be the manager was bullying and rude.

The room was clean. The front desk person was very nice as well. There is no elevator. If you are placed on the second floor prepare to carry everything up the stairs. At learning that there was no elevator I requested a ground floor room and was told that this was not an option. In all fairness the front desk person offered to assist in getting my luggage up the stairs, but it appeared as though my luggage would probably be too heavy for her to carry up the stairs. It is unbelievable to me that they have not made any improvements to accommodate the handicap or elderly. It is also odd that they did not consider their guests may have luggage. read more

We stayed in Fairbridge after driving thru a major rain storm. The lady at the front desk was wonderful and very helpful. I asked for a good place to eat and she referred us to the Den about 5 mins away and there food was delicious. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast the next morning was typical for that kind of an inn. But we met some interesting people at breakfast which was certainly nice. Bottom line is that I highly recommend the Fairbridge Inn and it is very close to the freeway. read more

Loved everything about my stay here. Super close to the I-15 with lots of parking for vehicles of all sizes, and the concierge was wonderful. Wifi works great in all areas of the hotel. Hot tub is large and pool provides towels. Room was beautiful, clean. Flat screen tv in the room with lots of channels, king size bed was so comfortable! Fridge was clean and kitchenette was beautiful. Didn't have time to stick around for breakfast at 6am, but lots of options available. Really enjoyed my stay here, would recommend to anyone looking for a cosy nights sleep along the I-15. read more

This is your basic fisherman's hotel. As a part owner of a hotel, I'm perhaps too sensitive to these things, but the remodel they must have done recently wasn't well done. They apparently decided to replace the ottoman with a new one that in no way matched the chair that they chose not to replace, and they put a new counter in the bathroom that prevents the toilet seat from staying upright. Or, maybe they kept the counter and put a smaller, low flush toilet under a counter not designed for it. Either way, the ladies will love it, because you can't leave the toilet seat down, but the men will not appreciate having to hold the toilet seat up while urinating. The walls are paper-thin, so you hear everything that is happening to your right, to your left, or above you. And, the carpet is glued directly to the cement floor, so it's actually cold to walk upon. But, the cookies in the lobby were a nice touch. read more

This motel was really clean and super cute in a country decor kind of way. The lady st the front desk was very nice and helpful. We didn't have breakfast (slept too late) but we got coffee and it looked good! The coffee was fresh and hot! If we ever come on vacation to this area again, we will definitely stay here again. read more

One star too generous. Stay away. Front desk staff is totally unprofessional. Fairbridge hotels are apparently independently owned: no corporate management and it shows. "Tanya" was sitting outside on the curb (smoking?) when we pulled up - two retired military officers and spouses. "Tanya" shuffled into the building and took position as desk clerk. She had attitude and did not communicate clearly -- our "stay" ended with her saying she didn't like husband's attitude (he did not say or do anything except ask for the confirmation of military rate -- which she apparently was not inclined to give.) Manager not available and "Tanya" dropped an "f" bomb and threatened to call the police. (Because she didn't "like "attitude?" Law enforcement does not to have their time wasted by bipolar desk clerks. ) This woman is In the wrong business -- she should not deal with the public, ever. Being threatened, cursed and losing reservation is hardly the "friendly" welcome advertised on Fairbridge site. Best Western has better accommodations and civil, professional staff. read more

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The employees are scary and very rude, and messed up our reservation. They are not kid friendly at all. They scream at kids. They aren't helpful. They are expensive. They don't give military discount. The beds are old and very low to the ground and the rooms are very dark and outdated. I highly recommend going elsewhere when staying in Dillon. If I could choose no stars I definitely would. The wifi is very slow and kicks you out and if you want to use your data... too bad it doesn't work either. The hot tub water was the same temperature as the pool. read more
