We were planning to have our wedding reception here and were verbally guaranteed our date. Based on that, we stopped looking at other venues. We were later told they are canceling due to renovations, which has left us scrambling to find a new location. Very disappointing experience for such an important event. I stayed here in mid-March (and am already planning a return visit). It's a beautiful hotel where the owners & manager have paid attention to every detail. Immaculate throughout, lots of light from big windows, comfy bedding. The kitchen area is just right for having snacks accessible and is thoroughly modern without compromising the feel of the hotel itself. A lot of "boutique" hotels use that word and it means "an old place that hasn't been kept up but is quirky." Here, it's a place with wonderful history and surroundings you can truly relax in. Among the things I appreciated was the very thorough binder in the room filled with ideas about places to visit throughout the area. That's why I'm coming back - to take advantage of those fun things. The rooftop has lovely seating for warmer weather, and Dillon itself has some beautiful older buildings to enjoy. Reservations were easy to make, and check-in was friendly and accommodating. I've stayed in hotels, inns, B&B's, etc around the world and The Andrus is definitely in my own "top 10" list. read more

An incredible boutique hotel in a hidden gem of a town; Byron, MT. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They're so helpful, courteous, and welcoming that its almost overwhelming. They checked us in, gave us a full tour of the grounds; including a brief overview and history of the area, which the hotel acts a bit like a museum for: and made sure we were aware of every feature and amenity at our disposal. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had the Yellowstone suite, which contained 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with a full kitchen and common area. The hotel is centrally located to bars, restaurants, and attractions within walking distance. Would absolutely stay here again. read more

The front desk person was amazing (wish I had her name) and the hotel was so clean, quiet and comfortable with a great bit of history. I stayed at the Andrus Boutique Hotel for ten days this past August while fly fishing. The staff, present from 8 to 8 was always pleasant and helpful beyond my needs and available overnight for emergencies. I found the suites accommodating, spacious, and well stocked with necessities for all of my needs. The hotel is located conveniently close to restaurants, the museum and other facilities, many within walking distance. Dillon, MT is very pleasant with all the necessary facilities in a safe, small town atmosphere. read more

We had a great stay at this hotel for one night. The room was updated, yet kept its historical charm. There is a rooftop where we could see sunset and the cute town. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. They paid attention to little details too - they left us a hand-written welcome note and a little bag with water and snacks. When the breakfast place across the street was closed, they gave us another great suggestion. Easy parking. Comfy bed. Would stay here again. read more

This was a great room in a historic old building Downtown Dillon. They were extremely professional at the front desk, room was clean, and building was filled with history. Highly recommend this place. If you're coming back muddy from a day on the mountain or in the river may want to clean up first. read more

Nice town to visit (also went to Bannock State Park - a ghost town nearby worth the trip. We loved this hotel! A beautiful historic building in the cute downtown. We stayed in the two bedroom with a king and two twins. Nice size kitchen and living room. We enjoyed sitting up on the rooftop over looking the town. Staff was really nice! We would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Truly enjoyed our stay here! Our suite had a kitchen equipped with everything we needed, one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in, and plenty of room to spread out. The staff was super helpful answering questions we had about the area as well as some great ideas of things to do. I recently had an occasion to stay at the Andrus Hotel in Dillon, MT. I am a charter pilot for a company out of San Diego area and have stayed at many hotels throughout the US, Europe, South America, Mexico, Canada, etc., etc. I wasn't quite sure staying what to expect being an older hotel without a restaurant but when I got there, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the entire hotel completely remodeled but the rooms were really nicely done. The woodwork, floors, doors, sinks, tubs and fixtures all new while matching french design I assume. I am not a designer by any means but I have developed fairly good taste in my 60 some odd years of life. The room was very comfortable, the beds and pillows were exceptional. It had a really cool pedal stool type tub but it had a base on it. I have never seen one quite like it but it was really cool. The room also had the modern conveniences of wifi and smart tv's in the living room and bedroom. There was a nice kitchen area fully stocked with everything you needed, all you had to add was food. Speaking of food there was no lack of restaurants in the area, all within walking distance with plenty of choices. I look forward to my next stay there. read more
