While on a recent cycling trip across the US,, I fell ill with some type of food poisoning around…read moreJackson. I had someone actually drive me from Jackson to Dillon and I was able to get a room for the evening. (I actually ended up staying two days in order to recover.) I can't remember being that ill in my adult life! And since I was riding a bicycle (and could not get very far away from a bathroom), I could not easily get to a store to get food or medicine. That is where members of the Fairbridge staff stepped up to help me in my desperate time of need. Tonya (General Manager ) volunteered to go to the local supermarket and get me chicken noodle soup and NyQuil! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that kind gesture! Later, that same day, I figured out that I needed Pepto-Bismol to stop the other chronic symptoms I was having. I asked Ellie at the front desk if there was anyone that could help me with getting Pepto-Bismol and she graciously volunteered to get it herself. However, I had no more ready cash on me so she went to the store, got me Pepto-Bismol...at her own cost! I cannot praise these two people enough and they helped me recover and get back on the road. One footnote... I am still cycling across the United States, but I wanted to take the time to leave a review to acknowledge the fantastic staff members at the Fairbridge in Dillon and how much I am grateful for their care concern for their guests.

Nice clean rooms with comfortable beds. Complementary breakfast was nice with lots of options.read more

This was a stop while driving to west coast. We had a great experience. The rooms are spacious…read more Beds and pillow were comfortable. Shower was hot with good pressure. AC cooled the room to our liking. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good (love the real oatmeal - I say no thank you to instant). The breakfast area was well stocked, clean and had ample seating. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Booked a queen room...Gave us a king and then wanted to sell us two separate air mattresses at an additional charge. After it was their mistake. Avery gave us an air mattress that had a hole in it. So naturally we asked for a new one. We were told she would go get a new one. and instead she gave us the same one with duct tape on it. So we asked for an additional one to replace it for the one that had a hole in it. We were given one with what appears to be BLOOD on it. When we brought the old one back to her, she insisted on telling us "there's nothing wrong with this one it's holding air just fine" in the most rude way. However , when you sit on it, the duct tape comes off. Dirt and left over Pringle chip packaging under the bed and the room hasn't been cleaned in a month. Management has no clue as to how to run the place. Specifically Avery has the worst customer service I think I've ever seen in the hospitality industry. She angerly says, make sure you leave us a review Avery, after the experience you gave us, of course somebody's gonna leave you a negative review... hopefully you can learn from this and change your trajectory in the hospitality industry. If your supervisor was smart they would find new help immediately. The morning staff was much more soft. Didn't have much interaction with them but what I did they where way better than Avery! Plus side nice new pergo floors

I went back and forth on 2 or 3 stars here, but the front desk staff was always very friendly,…read morewhich is worth the bump up. The property itself needs work, though. The place is old and in need of a deep clean. The room had a strange, musty smell that was quite unappealing. The shower faucet seemed broken and was difficult to adjust. On the plus, though, the room did have a small fridge and microwave, and the beds were decent enough. The art pieces on the wall, oversized prints of the local landscape, were a very nice touch. All things considered, this just wasn't much of a bargain. Ironically, of the multi-night road trip, this hotel was the most expensive and the least nice of those we stayed at. It was also extra to keep our 7 lb dog in the room, but we were thankful it was at least pet friendly. With multiple options in Dillon, if I was back in town, I would probably choose differently next time.

Front desk was no help and could not care less who missed up. Said it wasn't her problem and that was it. No fridge or microwave in the room. Breakfast consisted of nasty biscuits and gravy that tasted like glue, apples, prepackaged boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit cups, toast, some cereal and coffee, Room had died pee on the back of the toilet lid! Wi-Fi sucked. Night lady said when the weather is bad it has trouble. I asked, do you have satellite internet? She said no. If you are hard wired then it has nothing to do with weather. She said I don't know what to tell you. Will not go back or recommend this place. I need to contact Travelocity and see if there is any type of a refund because this is one of the worst experiences I've had with Travelocity.
