We had our Air Condition breakdown on a hot summer day, I contacted bunch of contractors through yelp quotes. Quality First Heating and Air was super quick in responses and very honest feedback. It was Rick from Quality First Heating and Air who responded, and he was willing to send immediately a technician to take look. They said he will charge $95 for the inspection but it will later contribute to repair cost. Daniel was the technician, you came right on time with the appointment and did the inspection and figured out our capacitor is blown. Unfortunately, he did not have the correct capacitor, so head to come again next morning before his day started and took care of me. Daniel was very friendly and knowledgeable tech. He was punctual, friendly and very smart with the repair and above all, super quick with work. I will go with Quality First Heating and Air for my next AC repair for sure. Thanks to Rick and Daniel for keeping us cool read more

Rick is a neighbor I met not long ago, and right off the bat, got me a quote $1,000.00 lower than our lowest estimate for a simple A/C unit addition; and when they came to view and confirm the work to be done, Daniel SHOWED me the whys this estimate would have blown out of proportion. First, previous owner remodeled the house from 1600 to 2200sq ft but never replaced the furnace, so a 3tons furnace could not have run a new 5tons A/C efficiently, then we went into the attic to be shown that the 46yr old ducts were literally falling apart and contained asbestos (what an inspector I got when I bought the house). They came back with a quote still 50% below what I expected it to turn into. So for 3.000.00 more than our other estimate we had the whole system replaced, even the registers. They were here the next weekend. Honesty by teaching you the whys. You know what you will get and why, so no BS. This system is much more powerful and very fast to cool the house, we even have an Ecobee thermostat with a sensor upstairs so it takes an average reading. you set the system to a minimum and maximum and forget about it, and yes, there's an app for it. Not a scratch or a speck of dust present when they left after 3 days of work. read more

We were in the process of purchasing our home and needed help with our HVAC. We had contacted bunch of contractors and Rick from Quality First Heating and Air responded immediately and we were able to schedule an appointment with Daniel the very next day. They charged $150 for the inspection but that would contribute to repair cost. The technician, Daniel, came right on time with the appointment and did the inspection. He was very thorough with the inspection and very honest with everything he found. Daniel was very knowledgeable and thoroughly showed me every little problem we had and how to deal with it. He did not seem rushed and was willing to answer all my questions. We scheduled the repair a week before our move and we were on a tight schedule. Daniel and his team were able to remove our old furnaces and vents from the attic and our dual AC unit from the side of our home in one day. His team was even nice enough to remove a fence surrounding our AC units outside. New units were then installed within the next 1.5 days. All trash removed in an orderly fashion. Everything was pretty much ready to go way before we moved into the home. Overall, Quality First is a top notch business run by very knowledge professionals. I highly recommend Quality First Heating and Air for any AC repair. Thank you to Rick and Daniel! read more

Rick was quick to respond to my request despite it being Labor Day weekend. He provided me with an estimate and was able to book me immediately. All other correspondence was also quick and efficient. On the day of the appointment, Daniel was running late. The company was courteous and notified me in advance with an ETA. Once at my home, Daniel was friendly and addressed my concerns. He did some routine checks and even explained what to look for in the future. He made some suggestions how I could save money and how the a/c could run more efficiently without any pressure to buy. Daniel did not have a specific part that was needed but stated he would be able to come by the next day even if I wasn't available. He left the old part as well as a card to let me know he was there and the replacement part was placed. Extremely friendly and professional! read more

We reached out to Quality First Heating and Air for a routine inspection of our furnace and HVAC unit and we're SO happy we did! This was our first inspection since becoming homeowners and there's so much we weren't aware of (even simple things like checking/changing the filter every 3 months, preventing the dogs from peeing on the HVAC, etc). Rick and Daniel were awesome to work with and super punctual and they also offer the best prices in town. Look forward to working with them for all our heating and AC needs! read more

I am very pleased with them. They are very detail and customer orientated with a focus on taking their time to provide a quality installation, rather than a rushed get it done half baked job that others might do. I had a lot of particular requests that they were happy to accomodate. They also gave me many excellent reccomendations to consider for my systems. I had both the upstairs and downstairs units replaced and they work very effectively with noticable less noise and electricity usage. I also had them install a whole house fan, ecobee thermostats and UV lights that I am very happy with. Rick and Daniel are great people on top of that. I highly reccomend them. read more

Incredible service and attention to detail. Punctual, prompt, clean and very thorough. I had multiple issues..some of which other contractors didn't even look for when they came out for a bid. He addressed them all and my house is nice and cool even though it's 100 degrees outside. read more

We had a great experience with Quality First. We have our air conditioners checked each year in every home we own. We knew this particular air conditioner was on its last leg and it was confirmed today (unit is 18 years old and installed by builder, but too small for size of home). However, instead of trying to sell us a new unit as a fix, Daniel was very honest and fixed what needed to be fixed and then told us to call when we were ready to replace. He said they don't charge more for summer air conditioning installs (smiling because we all know that happens). Professional and honest. Great company to work with on heating and air. read more

These guys are fantastic! Great service! Went above and beyond -- fixing other things with my system that were not listed on the contract. Great price. Great attitude. Would highly recommend and would definitely call again. I'm very happy with my AC install!! -- joe read more

What's a quick response!!! We had an AC installed in our home in 2017 by Quality First. Yesterday there was a concern of water coming down to side of the home and we called Rick. I know that it's busy time for AC guys so I did not expect much. But to my surprise, Rick sent out service technician to our home same day to look at the problem. Really awesome!!! Thank you much, Rick. read more

I am so grateful that I contacted Quality First to repair my AC. Because, I'm a senior citizen, I was worried about the cost of getting my old unit running again. Thanks to Rick and Daniel, who went above and beyond to help me, they succeeded in getting my AC back up and running with a minimal of expense. If I could I'd give this company 10 stars. I was so scared when my A/C just stopped working several weeks ago. I asked friends, neighbors and local Nextdoor Neighborhood members. My head was swimming with the names of different companies. One trusted neighbor I knew stopped by and told me how Quality First was by far the best company he found. He was so right. I contacted them and heard back the same day. They sent a great guy out the next day for a free diagnosis and he was able to fix a couple various issues and charged me so little. I was ready to hear that my old system was completely gone and that I needed a whole new one. They are local and renewed my faith that there are still some businesses that are fair and honest. read more

He was responsive, prompt, honest, friendly and efficient. We are beyond happy to have found a reliable and honest service for our heating and air needs. He even diagnosed our furnace repair needs for the future as well and was extremely thorough in explaining the process of his repair. Now we have cool air again and are prepared for the heat wave! read more

I can't recommend this company enough! They responded immediately and were able to come out the next day and repair my A/C unit. Daniel was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, explaining everything along the way, one of the best service representatives I've ever encountered. I appreciated the fact that he didn't try to sell me on a complete replacement and was honest about the condition of my current unit. A quick capacitor replacement and a great price and we are good to go. I know I will use them when we decide to replace our whole system in a few years. Definitely check this company out for repair and replacement on your HVAC systems! read more

Rick and Daniel were awesome!!!! Rick was always available for questions throughout the entire process and he worked with our family so generously! He was willing to work with our financial constraints and went above and beyond to make sure we could afford the furnace installation. We did not have all our finances in place until after the installation was done but Rick was willing to trust us and make sure we had the heat we needed. Never hesitated or wavered on his word to go forward. Daniel made sure the process went seamlessly and he went out of his way to suggest alternatives to keep the cost down. He was prompt and very pleasant. He made sure our cats didn't get out and checked on them throughout the day (they were locked in a room away from the install process) I can't say enough good things about this company and it's employees! What a great experience!!! read more

What an amazing company! I will only use and recommend Quality First Heating and Air. I called on 7/6/2018 when the major heat wave was here as my unit turned off and wouldn't turn on. I have a child with disabilities and they rearranged their schedule to make sure that everything was up and working for us. Top quality, very professional and Daniel Gamel was extremely knowledgeable. He had me up and running without any issues. Thank you Rick and Daniel. read more
