I brought in one of my favourite pants which I hadn't worn in a year because I needed to get it in hemmed and she did an excellent job. She was also very respectful of the restrictions, which I appreciated. In addition, she was selling some great handmade masks - she's a tailor after all- so how can you go wrong? The store is located just off 91st near Ellerslie it'll strip mall so there's lots of free parking. No complaints there! In fact, no complaints anywhere- this is a place I will be going back to next time I need anything fixed and considering I'm height challenged it will be soon!

When I pointed it out, they refused to accept responsibility. The employee even told me at pickup, "this sometimes happens in the machines with delicate material." However, when I returned to show them the damage, she denied saying that and blamed me instead, claiming I hand-washed the shirt myself, which I did and I got the stains out myself. But I never left a run in the shirt by handwashing, they did it and even admitted it. I wish I would have recorded her. To make matters worse, she made an inappropriate comment implying I was afraid of my daughter being upset. I never said anything like that, I said she will not be happy with the big run in the shirt as she is very picky about her expensive Aritzia clothing! This comment was a completely uncalled-for and insulting assumption. What shocked me most was how unprofessional it was to overhear her talking to another customer about me, saying, "this is the customer I was telling you about." That kind of behavior is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect for customer privacy. This business used to be reliable and professional under the previous owner. Since the new ownership took over, the quality of service and customer care has drastically declined. The prices have significantly gone up as well. I've since started going to a different dry cleaner in Ellerslie, the difference is night and day. They treat their customers with professionalism and respect. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place unless you want your clothes damaged, not cleaned and to be blamed for it afterward. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

The first time, they returned a comforter with mildew stains still on it. The second time, they returned a velvet quilt visibly altered, with pilling, a rough texture, and a clear change in colour. Even after acknowledging the issue, they refused to take responsibility, relied on fine print, and were defensive rather than apologetic. The quilt had great sentimental value to me. They may be fine for basic items like shirts, but do not trust them with anything of value -- there is no quality control and no accountability. Their slogan about "treating customers like family" is just marketing, not a reality.

Maggie tailored a gown for me a few years ago. It had beading that was tricky but the end result was perfect!
