A local artist draws seasonal pictures on the large wall chalkboard, the opposite wall is hung with framed pages from vintage Mason newspapers that also change with the season. They have soft-serve as well as hand-dip. Classic ice cream flavors are usually in stock, others are seasonal and rotate availability. Most of the ice creams are made by quality regional producers. Some are made in-house, and they are delicious! Their house-made butter pecan is excellent, better than commercial versions. They make shakes, sundaes, malts, floats, razzles - also grilled cheese sandwiches. Daily Scoop also offers house-made dairy-free sorbets, so there is some treat choice for everyone. On the counter next to where you order there is a display with models of ice cream serving sizes so you can see what size is best for your young child as well as your adults. The reviewer below who complained about serving sizes did not pay attention to these size models. If you have questions, just ask. The staff is cheerful, welcoming, and helpful to everyone.
