With that said, there is a very hometown feel when you walk into this place. The staff are very kind and seemingly gentle spirited. The breakfast burrito was also delicious, the sausage makes it crave-able. The cinnamon roll was decent, not my favorite cinnamon roll due to perhaps a citrus flavor experience I could have lived without. It may have been better had I asked for it to be warmed. (But I'm not a fan of having to warm a cinnamon roll in order for it to be good)

Since I'm only here for a few days, I figured I'd probably come back every day for my coffee while I'm in town. The next day, though, I was told by a different employee that the military discount only applies if you're actually in uniform. Obviously, I'm not going to be walking around in uniform just to get coffee. My disappointment really isn't about feeling entitled to a discount. I completely understand that businesses can set whatever discount policy they want. What bothered me was being told two completely different things on two different days. When the drinks are already fairly expensive, finding out that the discount I was given and told about the day before suddenly didn't apply definitely changed how often I planned on coming back. The coffee itself was great, and the employees were friendly. I just wish the military discount policy was consistent and clearly communicated so customers aren't told one thing one day and something completely different the next.
