This is definitely my favorite coffee spot in Mason, even though I don't go very often! I'm actually not a coffee drinker but I very much enjoy their food options and it's always delicious, no matter what I get! The service is always friendly and efficient and the inside is very cozy and inviting! Only negative I know about this place is how much the drive thru can get backed up at times but I don't do drive thru's so not my problem haha read more

I went through the drive-through and I bought a medium frozen caramel marvel paid with a 20 and got my change back and didn't look at it. They didn't give me a 10 just three ones. I caught it when I got home I called and they said they would count the drawer at the end of shift and call back. Many times I am unable to stop for my coffee in the morning since the line is out to Cedar street or the wait can take up to 12-14 minutes. Even when the line isn't too long the wait is crazy. Yesterday morning the line wasn't real long, but we had to wait 11 minutes. The coffee was warm and Frappuccino was melted on the bottom. Would have liked a freshly made drink. Fly in my $6 coffee! Was drinking my drink when I got a chunk of something in my mouth. I thought it was sediment from the coconut milk and pulled it out of my mouth. It was a fly. This location is notoriously slow, but that is expected from a place making quality beverages by hand. The baristas make up for it with their positive attitude. But this is NOT QUALITY. I always have to grab at least one Biggby latte and a couple bags of beans whenever I come back for a visit in Michigan. Even though this a franchise, the coffee and syrups far exceed that of competitors like Starbucks in quality and taste. My favorite drink is the Sugar Bear (caramel and hazelnut) with soy, but any flavors (or no added flavors at all) are great there. As for the beans, you can weigh out exactly how much coffee you want to take home with you. I highly recommend the Black and Tan for regular coffee, but if you are interested in getting flavors, I would get the Creme Brulee. It's tasty without losing that yummy coffee taste. All of the baked goods are excellent. There are also always great mugs, trinkets, etc. for family, friends or yourself. I love that the Mason location incorporates the bank that it is attached to in its interior, which has plenty of seating but feels nice and cozy. As you will get with any Biggby, the staff is incredibly helpful and cheerful. As an added bonus, you are supporting a Michigan-based business. All in all, this is a great place to stop and grab a quick coffee and treats or hang out to study or catch up with friends! read more

The only reason I gave this Biggby 1 Star was because it didn't give me the option to do NO STARS. This place is awful. I grew up in mason and have loved BIGGBY COFFEE. There was a time when this place was great!! But I just recently moved home, and I started going again. I hear nothing but awful things about the management from the employee gossip. The service is slow. The turmeric drink is just turmeric flavored corn syrup!!! Trust me, you can tell the difference. Awful. This place is awful. I'd rather drive an extra 15 minutes than give my money to this place. I suggest finding a different biggby. read more

10/15/17 :The day after my wedding my wife &I went to you guys . First the drive thru speaker sucked. We could kind of hear what was said for the specials. I ordered a medium Carmel iced latte and small pumpkin spice macchiato. I kind of heard drive up to the window. So I ended up with reordering my order. I ordered a tall carmel iced latte and you all don't have macchiato so my wife didn't get anyhing. My latte was not good at all tasted like it was the bottom of the pot. read more

I love biggby! I love in Mason and I have given this biggby MULTIPLE attempts to be good. But 10/10 times I have gotten Nasty burnt coffee that is just horrible. I work in east Lansing and go to the lake Lansing biggby all the time and they are way better I would honestly rather drive there than ever go to mason. They might sell coffee, but it is the worst coffee I have ever had. read more

This location is great if you are heading between Jackson and Lansing. It is located right off highway 127 in Mason and has a drive through (which I love!). Everyone here is friendly to everyone and gets your coffee right. They have busy times, but move the people pretty fast inside and drive through. If I am chatting with server in drive too long, my beagles start barking (!) at them to let us know they are tired of the chatting and want their dog bonies now! read more

This Biggby coffee shop may be the worst coffee shop I have ever stepped foot into. Now that I have your attention, let me rephrase that. The coffee, as well as the actual building itself (with its nice drive-through) are totally fine. The management and service however, are severely lacking. Because it is one of the few coffee shops in Mason, I would go there about five times a month. The people they choose to hire continued to confuse me until I recently stopped going to the establishment. They seem to enjoy hiring burn-out 20something year old women who are consistently crabby and upset. The slightest criticism or request is taken as a massive offense and your drink itself may even be prepared less carefully after the fact! The owner, an older lady, seems to be quite two faced, and although she is smiley to most of the customers, she seems quite short with her employees, which is awkward and takes away from the shop. On the coffee: if you have not had Biggby coffee before, here is my honest opinion. They do not technically have a dark roast, (is what the barista told me) which does not give you too many options. Their lattes (at least this Mason location) tend to be spotty and will vary rather drastically depending on who is working that day, which tends to make me very hesitant to buy their $6-7 dollar lattes. As a rule of thumb, they also tend to oversweeten their drinks in my opinion. If you are looking for something strong, I really wouldn't advise this place. I used to try to get their espresso shots or red-eye, but the shots taste like burnt goat. Not sure if that is because of the poor effort going into making the drinks, or if it is just the espresso blend they choose to use. Whatever the case, your best bet is either their french roast brewed coffee, or just a medium "spotted owl" with maybe an extra shot? Overall, wouldn't really recommend it, especially because of the management and poor customer service. read more

Don't come here if you want a cappuccino! Ive had two cappuccinos. The first one sucked, it had enough milk in the espresso but the foam was crap. I thought Id give it a second chance but the second one also had crappy foam but there was barely any milk in the espresso. It was basically espresso with a layer of variously sized large milk bubbles sitting on top. The barista was mumbling about how the steamer wasn't working. Obviously it wasn't working the first time I had a cappuccino here but they havent bothered fixing it in the intervening weeks. The iced coffee is so-so but I suspect the other espresso-milk drinks are shitty also. The building and location of the store are pretty damn depressing too.
