Just left a bad taste in my mouth with the lazy customer service today - When I ordered the coffee (Iced Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte) the young lady on the mic told me they were out of the pecan syrup which I said was totally fine they can just make the drink with vanilla syrup in place of the pecan syrup. She was thrown off by me asking her to do that substitution and answered back "Ok" hesitantly and I was confused. They weren't busy and I wasn't asking for anything difficult? I proceeded to order a banana nut bread and she adds it to the order and avoids asking me if I want it warmed up and I tell her after the fact that I would like it heated up. Service was very sub-par and I didn't want to make a big deal at the window when I received my drink and noticed it was completely wrong. The drink comes with oatmilk, blonde espresso, and vanilla cream cold foam... there was none of that in my drink. I come here often and always tip $2 on a $7 cup of coffee... and this is the type of service you receive for being good patrons and tipping the staff! I'll always leave a tip for good service but she noticed when I didn't leave a tip today after paying the window girls demeanor at the window changed. read more

I had to come leave a good review after noticing this location only has 2 stars. I've been coming here every single day for almost 3 years unless I'm sick or out of town. Staff is ALWAYS friendly. I've never left thinking badly about the staff. I order the same drink every time depending on weather, either hot peppermint mocha or cookie crumble. It's very rare I get a bad drink. Meaning there's little peppermint flavor so the taste is bad and that's usually when I see a new face lol. Either way this location is usually spot on. Thank you! read more

Ordered a grande latte that i opened later and it was a cup of coffee-3/4 full- bitter and not drinkable. Caramel macchiato for my mother was overly sweet and lukewarm. Today I ordered a grande hazelnut iced coffee with oat milk- I did not realize that they used blonde espresso- which I find off tasting. The white mocha i ordered for my mother was also too sweet. I am done with this Starbucks. We probably tolerated 1/8-1/4 of each of those drinks. Cashiers were fine. read more

This Starbucks is right on your way to the highway, which means is a pretty regular last minute drop in for me. The staff are always friendly, I particularly like the morning crew! Using the app makes ordering a lot easier. If you're picking up in the morning there will probably be a line at the drive through which you can avoid by ordering ahead and popping in. read more

I have been to this store twice and both times it was extremely disappointing. This visit I went inside and the employees although busy did not even acknowledge I was there. I guess the management/owner need to train their employees to at least make a customer feel like they are wanted. read more

I'm always disappointed when coming to this branch; not that the food or drinks aren't to a satisfactory level, but because of the customer experience. These associates seem to not have the adequate training of other Starbucks locations I've been to. I'm always having to request my specific add on's like the Siracha packets to my sandwich or to have the banana bread heated up, and if I forget to request these things- it makes the visit unpleasant. Most other locations that go above and beyond the customer experience suggest these type of things and properly ask, this location seems to be just in the business of cycling through their customers versus giving each person the best morning experience. (And the heafty guy who works the window and has served me 1000 times is never close to pleasant) read more

This store has speedy service and very pleasant employees. The inside is sometimes a bit messy--maybe a little more attention to the condition of the trash receptacles would help. My only issue is wIth customers who park in spots clearly marked by a signage and blue painted lines as for handicapped ONLY, and have no designated license place or hanging placard. They park, go in to order or pickup and leave. It doesn't matter that you're only in the handicap spot for a minute or two....it's illegal. The laziness and sense of entitlement of those customers is next level. read more

I go to Starbucks a lot, and this was the worst experience I have had. It started from the order. I placed my order and the women talking to me said the total was 25 but I only ordered 2 things. I nicely told her she put too much on my order and she got really defense and told me what I ordered. I corrected her and she seemed VERY ANNOYED. I then got to the window and as she was scanning my phone I said I had a free drink. She rolled her eyes VERY hard I'm surprised she could even see! She said "sorry I already scanned I can't give you your free drink" and then handed me my stuff. I've had this happen in the past before but the barista has always been nice and rescanned. Not this one. I left very disappointed with my experience here. I believe the baristas name was Ashlyn, so if you have her as your barista, try not to make her too mad! read more

But to be fair I do always go through the drive thru , and I'm not there to order drinks. So what id say about this location is if you want a breakfast sandwich theirs are pretty good. Don't go here. Waited for 3 minutes at screen to order and no one decided to help. Was there at 5:45am and they open at 5:30am. Really wanted a strong coffee after running back and forth to the hospital for the last 3 days and this joker behind the window after pulling up is cleaning mics turns slightly to me and smirked and goes back to cleaning mics and avoids helping me. First of all your open so do your job, second, don't put on the screen to pull up to the first window if you aren't being helped at the screen if you don't plan on helping there either. Inconsistent. The most inconsistent Starbucks I've ever been too, and I have been to a lot. I go almost everyday. This particular location on Cedar street is 3 mins from where I live, I was thrilled when it first opened. My go to drink is simple. Straight off the menu, with an extra shot added in. But every single time it's different. Half the time it tastes like luke warm watered down milk. I think 8/10 times they forget to add the extra shot. And the drive thru is horrendous. If you have anywhere important to be at a certain time, whatever you do DO NOT enter that drive thru. You will be stuck there for 30-40 mins. Sometimes, I drive 20 mins away to the Starbucks inside of meijer on lake lansing rd. Park my car and go inside of the store just to go to that Starbucks because they are always spot on with my drink. The fact that I have to do that to get the drink that I ACTUALLY ordered is ridiculous. If you go to this Starbucks on cedar, be prepared to be let down. read more

I order my coffee in advance because I work midnights. Almost every time I order a nitro cold brew they give me a cold brew (iced coffee) which is really annoying because the caffeine content is different. You're only allowed to get a grande nitro, so I end up with a grande iced that gets watered down. After I've waited 30 minutes in line. Maybe they should change the names to something less similar, but it happens so often it makes me wonder if they were trained when they run out of nitro to just pretend the didn't hear you right. read more

A couple days ago I ordered a grande triple expresso with extra caramel drizzle over ice (it was perfect!!!-made by Althea. She was beyond helpful and put the right amount of ice and caramel. I believe she might have been management). A day later, I order a grande double espresso with extra caramel drizzle over ice. I had to tell the girl making it THREE times things she was doing wrong! It was like she didn't care to read the ticket! First correction, she grabs a TALL cup. Second correction, she very lightly lined the cup with caramel without putting any around the whole cup or inside (the point of extra drizzle). Third, she filled the entire cup with ice and as I was watching I swear it was only one shot! I thanked her went to my car for a sip and it was awful. I went back inside to get my receipt, the guy at the counter charged me an additional 10 cents for extra caramel that I didn't even receive! Every time I get a drink from here it's never consistent! It's like the workers don't care how your drink is made at all! It's the closest location and now I'm always forced to go inside ALONG with adding my own milk because they have messed that up a few times prior without me even complaining about it until today. Now, I am completely avoiding this place unless a manager makes my drinks from now on! read more

This store " the employees are the worst!!! Thai & Ant have terrible attitudes They do not greet the customers with smiles or conversation they also do not display the understanding of customer service providing quality customer service to paying customers equals your check.. Ant needs to be removed from his position he is leading his employees by example his attitude as a manager is poor he does not deserve that position he needs to be retrained he cannot hold his employees accountable therefore he does not know how to for himself. Very very rude I am disgusted that this store is still up and running. Thai has a terrible attitude for no reason this is her job and she treats customers rudely her attitude is displayed all over her face and body language.
