Went to GREAT GIANT yesterday approximately 9 AM. To purchase meat from the meat department I went…read morein and went straight to the meat. I then saw chicken wings at a very low price I picked up and sorted through 21 packs of meat and place them in my grocery cart I then proceeded to the other side and grabbed a couple of chicken breast, and then asked one of the butchers in the meat department about the pricing. He said that the pricing was wrong and began to remove my chicken wings out of my cart, which I had already placed. I asked the man what was he doing? He told me that I could not buy the chicken wings at that price I told him they were already marked in an informed him of the law. He said he did not care of what the law said. So I went back around to where the chicken wings were because he had removed the meat that I had in my cart and I began to pick up more meat and place it in my cart. He then called over another butcher to help assist Him to remove the meat out of the cooler Where the meat was as I was standing, he nudge me and I asked him not to nudge or push me, he told me I was in his way and to move. I told him I was standing there and getting more meat. He told me that I could not they both start yelling at me and I was asked, why are you yelling? I'm not yelling at you and this is not professionalism as customer service by this time other the workers in the Store came to the back and stood around greatly. A manager named Joe) came to see what was going on. He had to physically put his hand on the butcher Joe's should and nudge the him back Because he was so irate and totally wrong. I hear the manager Joe say I'm bout to call the manager that is supposed to come in after Joe talks to the manager that was supposed to come in Kathy the butcher Joe comes back out of the cutting room with his wallet out and hollering and threw $20 at me and told me to buy some meat we went back back-and-forth with a few more words the manager Joe that was there asked what happened. I told Him there was a case of meat marked at a very low price and so I had 20 packs of meat in my cart in the butcher removed them out of my cart. I asked him to go look at the prices of meat, and remind Joe of the law as well, he said the manager said that I can get the pack of meat that was taken out of my cart at that price, but I did not get all the meat. He did allow me to purchase nine packs of those meats at the price and gave me a discount for other items that I purchased in the store. I asked the manager Joe to walk with me as I finished my little shopping, which didn't last 5 minutes he escorted me to the front I checked out and I left. This was a terrible experience for me in the store. I hope others will never experience the butcher Joe ever again. This review gets no stars. And because I'm having to choose a star, it will only be one.

I made a gift of some to friends who live out of the area and am often asked if I could pick some up for them when planning a visit.
