The produce section is beautiful offering many staple items and cauliflower as big as my head! Lunch options, dinner options, snacks...it's all available there! Lastly the dog treats, they are homemade and brought in by the baker/owner of the small local business on a regular basis. Several items in the store are sourced locally and the prices are comparable to other stores, maybe a little more for specialty items. All team members encountered are willing to help and answer questions and everyone was smiling and in a genuine good mood. Rare! There is legit something for everyone and they are now on my weekly list of stops to make!

None of that here, for better or worse! Clean, great owners who make Gimbop (Korean-sushi, about twenty pieces packaged for $3.00 - what a deal, though the price is the same at other Korean groceries in East Lansing) each day. The prices are higher than some of the larger places off Grand River; come here if you need a few things, especially things of higher quality, and come here for the Gimbop. Recommended.

So the menu could be very confusing for a first timer or beginner. FOOD: Veggies are VERY good. Cabbage, collars greens, yellow peas, lima beans-- all very delicious. The meat is okay. I had the tibs (their national dish with cubed beef) and it was underwhelming. It could be way more moist/tender/juicy than it was. Never got to try the lamb because they run out. I have ordered takeout from this location several times and each time they were either out of gluten free injera or lamb or some part of my order was messed up. they also take way longer than than the doordash tells you and that can be frustrating when you are timing picking up your takeout order with driving distance and your other errands/appointments To be fair, they did try to make up for it every single time and were very apologetic. Which is why i'm open to trying this location again-- hopefully for the lamb dish. but I'm also gonna give them more time to get this new location established before ordering again.
