It's disappointing because many people are struggling financially. Customers deserve clear communication and approval before additional work is performed. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. I was told the oil change was free, but when I checked my receipt, I found charges for the oil change, oil filter, and radiator cap. That was very disappointing. To everyone: always check your receipt carefully before you leave. The owner told me he's been in business for a long time, but my experience left me feeling misled. I can't speak for anyone else's experience, but I encourage everyone to review their invoices and make sure you're only being charged for services you approved. Customers deserve honesty, transparency, and respect--especially when so many people are struggling financially.

I write this with no pleasure as I have been a customer of theirs for years now and have liked…read morealmost everything up until recently. I want to keep this as fair as possible. I'm only writing this to help inform future potential and/or current customers. None of this is done out of retribution. I approached Aric and Ken for a repair. It got assigned to Ken. Upon completion of the job, Ken perhaps did the best he could but the problem was not fixed completely. I pointed it out to Aric, the boss. Aric did not want to look at it when offered the chance to (possibly since he would have to actually testify to the fact that an issue does indeed exist after Ken's work) and instead referred me to Ken ("since Ken was the one who worked on [my] car"); Aric simultaneously took off to go home early, possibly to avoid conflict. I showed Ken the issue with a controlled polite and grateful tone on my part. To my surprise, Ken got angry and defensive and said "something's wrong with you" to me. He denied that there was *any* problem. Ken began to angrily offer to take my car apart, "undo all of his work," and "return (my) car to the state it was in before the repairs." He tried to bully me into believing there was no problem. Of course with him displaying this anger, I no longer wanted him to touch my car for fear of him damaging something intentionally in retribution for what I felt was a neutral observation that he took to be a personal attack. I accept the fact that they can't fix the problem completely. That can be corrected either by me paying for further service with Ken and Aric (re-working) or by me going to another mechanic. What I can't accept is 1) that I can't trust Ken and Aric any longer because I can clearly see the problem yet Ken adamantly denies that there is a problem, and 2) Ken's inability to communicate through a conflict, thereby locking out any potential to fix the situation. I went to another mechanic and asked him neutrally if he notices anything wrong without telling him what I see as to not sway him. This mechanic stated what he saw which matched exactly what I saw. (I have a decent background of understanding as a car repair hobbyist so I'm not naive to what I see and additionally wanted to get another professional's observations.) For the most part if everything with their service for your car goes smoothly, I think this business is just fine or even better than fine. The main point of this review is to point out that the reception was not stellar once something did go awry. Of course, that is what we expect from most mechanics. I thought this business would be different after having gone to them for years. Sadly, I was wrong and have to go on searching for another business to be my "go-to" mechanic.

You charge me for oil change area in my tires which she did not even do. Shame on you do better.
