Gosh. Where do I begin. I replaced pads and rotors for someone and everything was fine with my work. However, there still seemed to have a screetching sound. I scratched my head for 2 days. I finally threw in the towel and decided to being it in for Joe, the manager, to give it a once over. I cannot BEGIN to tell you how superb these guys are. Not ONLY did they immediately jump on it while having customers lined out thw door, but Joe and Marcos both made me feel comfortable, welcomed and diagnosed my problem without asking for anything from me that would break my wallet. Very professional and affordable oil change rate. Called 10 min earlier on Saturday and asked if can change oil for my Mercedes ML, and mechanic said that he could do it in next 30 min, no big deal for me. I came in gave them my own oil and filter, and in next 15 min car is ready. This place is close to me, so I will be coming this place for all my car repair needs. These guys are truly professional and courteous to customers. I was very pleased with the service they provide. BTW, they have a customer waiting room with tv and dvd different entertainment which is a great PLUS for me since I came in with my kids. read more

I brought my car in early yesterday morning, due to the check engine light coming on. I'd also had some acceleration issues, & didn't want to chance making things worse. Joe, the owner, and his crew are AMAZING!!! They found the problem, & my car was in working order in less than 2 hours. The knob for my year had been broken for awhile, & they even got that back working!! I'm especially happy about that since we've had some cold, rainy days in LA. I've been coming to this shop for the last 3 years, for various things, including oil changes, & Joe always provides excellent service, & fair pricing. Excellent service. Over the years I've taken my car, my parents, referred plenty of friends and taken company vehicles to Joe. The name says brake & tune, but i go to Joe for everything from replacing my fuel pump, electrical work, smog check, and ofcourse brakes. Joe takes his time and really breaks down the job, what material he uses, how long it should take, and is always willing to give me a ride to and from where i need to go till my car is ready and then picks me up. What do I love about this place? EVERYTHING! From the personable service from Joe, to all the mechanics, they quote honest pricing, quick service, and have always helped me in the most unfortunate car situations. Example - one morning, my car battery was dead, Joe came out to where I lived (down the street, luckily!), checked everything - and since it was an alternator issue, was able to give a jump to my car, then followed me to the shop and fixed my car that morning - in time for me to get to work and not impact the rest of my day! I use them to keep up all the maintenance on my car - and if I had to move from the area, I would still come back to Econo Brake for my services. read more
