Gorgeous car for sure but honestly not worth the sh#%t they put us through. I am writing to convey my disappointment regarding a recent experience at New Rochelle Toyota…read more My husband and I scheduled an appointment via telephone for June 16th at 1pm with the explicit purpose of viewing and test-driving a Corolla hatchback. During this preliminary call, we were assured by the representative that this specific vehicle was readily available and in your inventory. My husband and I both left work early in order to make time for this visit. When we arrived, we were informed that the Corolla hatchback we were supposed to see was only in your computer system and not in stock. It makes no sense at all. This sequence of events was very frustrating to us. It showed a blatant communication breakdown. It is a waste of time, unprofessional, and inconsiderate. Obviously, we never got a single apology. I would never recommend or go back. A terrible experience! There are plenty of trustworthy, honest dealerships in the area that are eager to assist you, so don't waste your time here.

What followed was about 10 days of confusion where Nissan said GEICO never contacted them while GEICO said they had called multiple times. Meanwhile the dealership told me it was still at the original location. When I finally went to pick up my vehicle after 10 days with no work done, staff said they didn't know where it was parked. I had to use my spare key's panic button to locate my own car in the lot. Very frustrating experience with poor communication and organization. I would not recommend this service department.

Unfortunately, within a few weeks of purchase, the check engine light illuminated. I promptly reported the issue to both the salesperson and dealership management, hoping the matter could be addressed early. Over time, the vehicle continued to experience mechanical and emissions-related issues, including problems that ultimately prevented it from passing inspection. While I appreciated the dealership's willingness to discuss options, the primary solution presented was to trade the vehicle for another one, which would have resulted in increased monthly payments. I did not feel this adequately addressed the concerns with the vehicle I had recently purchased. The ongoing repairs, inconvenience, and uncertainty surrounding the vehicle's condition have been frustrating. Most concerning is that the issues were reported shortly after purchase, yet a satisfactory resolution was never reached. I believe customers should be able to rely on a dealership's inspection process and receive meaningful support when significant issues arise soon after a sale. I remain disappointed with the outcome and hope management will review situations like this more closely in the future to ensure a better customer experience.
