Stay away from Kia City of the Bronx. I wish I could give them zero stars. They add extra fees and do not honor the prices they quote. The numbers keep changing and it feels very misleading. The staff is also rude and impatient. Be careful because it seems like they are trying to make extra money from customers. If you want better service, go to Yonkers Kia instead. They treat customers with respect. read more

Worst experience in my life with any dealership. They made a deal to trade in my car, use a credit from that trade-in, cut me a check for the rest and lease me a 2025 Kia Niro. I didn't have the title on me, but I described it in perfect detail and they agreed that it could work when I brought it in. First, they only had one key for the car, and I had to come back to the dealership to get the second key programmed and to collect my check. After calling several different people and being told different things, chasing people down to get a date to come in, making a complaint to corporate, writing an email to the owner/managers/ dealers at the store did I finally get a day to come in to pick up the second key and check. When I came in, I handed the title to Nick, who said it wasn't usable. I told them their guys told me it was to make a sale, and that they had a picture of it in the email sitting for days without anyone letting me know they couldn't use the title. I was told the general manager, Eric Shin, would meet with me and discuss the matter. He ended up blaming me for their mistake, being extremely disrespectful, and talking down to me. All in all, I took my car back and sold it quickly to the Bronx Chevrolet Dealer with the title I had along with some other documents. Do not go to this dealership! They will do anything for a sale, even if it's unethical. They do not care about you once they make their sale. Avoid at all costs. Yonkers Kia is a good place to go if you need another option. read more

The previous management team and workers was what made Bronx Kia amazing, however new management and team at Kia city is about switchbait, They sell you something on the phone and you hear a different story in person. The hourly labor is extremely high, if you remember Kevin, he was a great service advisor and always took care of you. The whole team before the change was fantastic. This will be the last time I do service with them. They tried to sell me a transmission flush even though they have my records showing my transmission was replaced 6000 miles ago!! They tried to sell me a rust descaler for the engine when the engine is made of aluminum... Be aware. read more

I just bought my new telluride from the Bronx KIA dealership. Pete the sales manager was a little tough on my trade in value but other then that he wanted the sale and did what ever it would take to get it. That said Pete and his team are great to work with! There is nothing worse then spending a lot money on a vehicle and then get sub-par treatment from their service department. When i hit 5000 miles i will give them a try and post a review . read more

It took 4 hours for an oil change and tire rotation on a week day. I also ordered a part. The customer service rep. told me the part would be there the next day and I should walk in. I called today, to verify the part came in so I wouldn't waste a trip. I spoke to a rep, he said the order was not in the data base and he left a message for the person that placed the order to call me. I talked to that rep and asked if the part came in, he said I should have gone to the shop the next day as he told me. He talked over me as I told him I wanted to confirm part arrived because things don't always go as planned. I had to hang up because it was a back and forth thing. Unfortunately I have to keep the part and get it attached, no refund, otherwise I would go somewhere else and I will in the future. That rep needs to be retrained. read more

Only improvement customers can make is going elsewhere. I went here and sadly lost a lot of money and time. I was refunded for the full amount I was owed, however this doesn't lower or even mitigate the time I spent going back and forth with them. Eventually I ended up getting a car elsewhere, only writing this because was going to sue for financial damage (wasted time, over promised and under delivered) I would not recommend going here, salesperson is a 20 year old that's been on the job for a couple of months, will definitely not take care of you, and their lineup of used cars are really beat up even the "luxury" ones. Your gut will instantly tell you to go elsewhere. read more

Extremely aggressive sales tactics. I went in for state inspection, told I needed to replace tires or I would not pass, I asked for the cheapest tires due to my budget, they put on Pirelli's told me price was the best deal for tires, not knowing any better I said ok. Had a bad feeling about it, called Kia yonkers location, they quoted me tires under $100 each . I then told yonkers what Bronx was giving me and they were honest and told me I was being over sold the most expensive tires they sell. Now I am stuck, I already said yes, Go to pick up car already upset to then get hit with another 4% fee for using a credit card. I was not told about that fee either. I will never go back to Bronx Kia. read more

On July, 28, 2023 I was encouraged to end my lease for a better deal however, I received a horrible deal. I was promised a higher credit score and the ability to trade in with higher value. However, I gained negative equity and a lower credit score. I was promised gap insurance which I do not have. Recently, on 12/23/2023 I went to Bronx Kia in hopes to trade in my car, I was offered to buy a car worth $19,000 for $32,000. Why are they preying on good people? I am displeased with the misrepresentation of Bronx Kia dealership. Bronx KIA deliberately conducted fraudulent behavior with deceptive advertisements, swindling sales practices and contract fraud. It is highly unethical for salespersons to lie to consumers for financial gain. It is unethical to not honor verbal agreements that were made with the sales person. Upon further review of my recent visit with Bronx Kia, I am displeased with the misrepresentation. They are the experts why swindle existing customers into an unfortunate deal. Good People: The attached photos you will see that the new deal is not better. I learned a valuable lesson. Every skin folk aint kin folk. Dont focus on the monthly payment. Focus on the value of the car and good luck. Nobody should be mistreated or misrepresented . Period. Straight robbery. They wouldn't sell this crappy deal to a family member. smh read more

I am making this complaint after experiencing a very unsettling incident stemming from the purchase of a vehicle at Bronx Kia, dba Kia City, located at 3505 Conner Street, Bronx, NY 10475 On September 6th, 2025 I purchased a vehicle for my daughter. As part of this transaction, I used my CapitalOne credit car to pay for a down payment of 5000.00 Unfortunately, on September 8th, 2025, I received an alert from CapitalOne that there was a purchase for flowers from 1-800 Flowers on my account. I did not make any purchase from them or anyone else on this credit card. After serious investigation and loss of many hours of my time, I found out that this was for flowers to the girlfriend of the salesperson who sold me the car I had purchased. I have since reported this to the local police and this individual was arrested and I have made complaints to the Better Business Bureau and also to Consumer Affairs. I am posting this so that all who chose to do business with this dealership, be vigilante as to any transactions you may have with Bronx Kia. read more

I called this Kia dealership and spoke with Trish over the phone. She was great and made an appt. for me for the following day at 3:15pm with Amy. Amy was very knowledgeable. She listened to us and answered all our questions. We test drove a Kia Sportage and the Kia Soul but because of a recent car accident we chose to go with the bigger car. We also spoke with Jim in finance who also answered all our questions and gave us the lease option with the promise of paying monthly on the lease to be able to lower our payment in a few months. Amy and Jim both gave us their phone numbers. Amy has been very responsive to all my calls and texts. I have asked her so many questions and she has always replied quickly. I value her consistency and dedication. Everyone at this dealership was very professional and friendly. I recommend this Kia dealership. read more

Sharing my experience today that happened at this location. I came in for a 2025 Kia K5 gt-line premium package that was listed for 28k under MSRP. Was online for a really good deal and I called and someone said it was still available. So, I came in and one of the sales person said it was sold just yesterday but said we have another one for the same price, same exact model, year, package, same everything. She said she'll bring it to us but didn't know if we have it here or at the other lot. so we waited and waited and after about 15-20 minutes she comes by and says that the second one was also sold the other day. So at this point I was annoyed because she LIED and was a waste of time, tolls and gas. then she said we can look for the EXACT ONE from another location and give you the SAME PRICE. Comes back to us after about another 15 minutes and hands me a sheet for a 2026 Kia K5 that is WAY over my budget and over MSRP that was listed for 34k. I was heated. Waste of my time. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Saw the bad reviews this place had and should've known before coming. read more

Ableoff service had 3 mechanics looked at it. They informed me the issue was that I needed a wheel alignment and 4 new tires. My car only has 24000 miles. Now its running like new. I understand that sales jobs require some manipulation. However, when you update the customer application with the bank that approves the customer five times, you are taking things too personally. I was at this place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and left with no car. They showed everyone the same car. They didn't allow anyone to walk through the lot to see all the cars. They only pulled out the 2025 cars and told everyone that the 2024 was sold out. According to the KIA website, they were lying, and there are over 50 2024 cars at this dealership. I understand there are several negative reviews here so I can only comment on my experience. I came in on 1/15/24 to trade in my 21 Nissan Rogue lease which is ending in the next two months and I worked with Amy who was such a pleasure! She was very down to earth, calm, and understanding of my situation. She was patient and took the time to explain everything without rushing for me to make a decision. Even after the sale and being home, she readily answered my questions through text and checked in with me. I did not feel that my lease process was sketchy or that information was miscommunicated. I was able to negotiate my lease with finance to what worked for my family and was not given pushback. I am very happy with my 2024 kia sportage and I would highly recommend Amy for sales! read more

MARKUP: $6000 from MSRP I really would stay away from all the good 5 star reviews on yelp and Google. That is no where near the indication of how this dealership operates. The one positive thing was Matthew was a nice and professional salesman, didn't feel pressured told us in depth about the features of the car. That's about all for the positives the car was $6000 over MSRP and the owner was not willing to negotiate at all. I wouldn't waste you're time here if you are trying to get anywhere near MSRP. read more

If I could give him 0 stars I would. I met with Benjamin 2 weeks ago in hopes of getting a Kia Sportage for my cousin. My cousin and I had been to several dealerships prior to that and had received a competitive offer for a Jeep Compass. When speaking to Benjamin, we informed him of the deal and asked if he could beat it. Long story short, Benjamin wasted our time. He said he could, and he gave us pretty much the same offer, 4K down, 479 a month. He said the only issue was we needed to wait 2 weeks for the car. We agreed and left a $500 deposit. Fast forward, when we came to pick up the car, we were under the impression it would be a seamless transaction being that numbers were vetted and negotiated weeks ago. However, Benjamin had no recollection of the agreement, and did not store adequate notes. He asked us to remind him of the numbers and we did. We waited approximately 3 hours while Benjamin seemingly went to speak to finance. I am 33 weeks pregnant, Benjamin didn't even have the courtesy or professionalism to even offer me a water or a snack as we waited. Communication was extremely lacking as we had no idea what was going on, and why it was taking so long but my spirit told me that this is not a good sign. Finally, he called us over to go and speak with the finance manager. As we are speaking with the finance manager, I noticed that on the folder where I had previously observed Benjamin write the numbers on, he added to the 4K down, 479 a month "plus taxes and DMV fees", which was absolutely NOT a part of the agreement. What was most problematic about that was he wrote that part after he walked away from us. This would entail another 5K down, meaning we would have to pay either 9K down, 479 a month or 4K, and almost $800 a month for a Kia Sportage. Benjamin and I went back and forth, as he attempted to speak to me in a condescending manner. I had to let him know that I have an MBA in finance, BA in accounting and graduated top of my class. Additionally, this is my 5th leasing transaction, so if you think I have "stupid" written on my forehead, he is gravely mistaken. In essence, if you want to spend Porsche money on a Kia, and want your time wasted Benjamin Deleon of Bronx Kia is the man for the job. read more

don't take your vehicle to this flyby night Kia service dealer. I purchased a 2003 Kia Telluride on the second day just checking in July came on took it back there at the dealer. I should have consulted with Yelp before going here. I agree with every statement saying that this dealership is lazy and unprofessional. My car salesman, Benjamin, couldn't afford to put his phone down the entire transaction. Despite telling him this is my first time buying a car and I would like more information about the paperwork I was filling out. on top of that, my paperwork was filled out incorrectly with my name misspelled. This has caused me to go on a month PLUS of not having a formal registration. Every time I've asked I've been told "two more weeks" twice. I call the DMV myself and there's 0 indication of my registration being processed and the temporary expires in 6 days. I hope they enjoy paying any tickets I receive. read more

My sister purchased a 2020 Kia Sportage from Bronx Kia, Conner Street, in September 2022 and to date it has about 36,000 miles - had about 26,000 when purchased. My sister took her car to her mechanic to rotate the tires because she was taking a trip to Maine and wanted to make sure the tires have been rotated since she purchased a car. The mechanic told her that the rear rotors and brake pads have to be replace so she reached out to Bronx Kia to see why would the rotors need replacing now especially when only about 10,000 miles were added to the car since she purchased it 9 months ago. My sister spoke to Sal, General Sales mgr and he basically said that they can look at the car, but if the rotors do need to be replace it would be at her cost and she's going back n forth with him as to why would she would have to pay for the replacement and his response was pretty much because if it's broken you have to pay for it - we resurfaced the parts on the certified used cars. Needless to say Sal was not very helpful and basically he was saying his mechanics are more reliable than my sisters mechanics or the others mechanics out there but she can trust Kia's mechanic. Pretty much once you buy a car from them you're on your own if you come across any problems with the car. So if you're looking to buy a car, especially a certified used car, don't go to Bronx Kia you might regret it. read more
