Unfortunately our 2005 Honda Pilot had a transmission failure and we took it to the dealership in Kirkland and the car was worth $4500 and the estimate for repair was approaching $3K to start with potentially more to come as they investigated. They reluctantly offered us $500 to scrap it (mentioning they typically don't do it). My husband called Quality Mobile Auto and Jamie not seeing the vehicle quoted something half the cost for the same service. We drove it over and although the car had more issues than met the eye and we weren't willing to repair it he offered us $700. At that point we were stuck, so decent that he offered us more than the dealership. With our second equally old car we had $2500 worth of repairs that the dealership was quoting us and Jamie managed to do the repairs and then some for only $1300. The twelve year old car is running like new! Grateful we found this spot. read more

I came in here on 4/1 for an auto inspection. It was quick and painless. With 5 others ahead of me, my inspection was done in 30 minutes. Both of the employees that I encountered were professional. I saw that they do all kinds of car detailing from the basic at $70 to the ultra deluxe at $500. There's also an Uber driver inspection here, and Quality Auto offers discounts for Uber drivers. Look for their blue sign near the street for the entrance. They are on the other side of another auto body shop. read more

I have a Honda CRV and the passenger window didn't roll up or down. Jaime informed me I needed a new motor for the passenger side. After installing the motor at a cost of $290.00, -- it still didn't work, he suggested it was the Master Power Switch now on the Driver's side and it would cost $190.00 additional to replace. I decided to get a second opinion and do some online research (thank goodness for Google) and found out that in fact it was the master driver switch and I'm not even sure the motor needed to be replaced. I ended up purchasing the switch online at Amazon.com from Switch Doctor for $23.00 and installed it myself. This took 10 minutes without removing the door panel. I'm a bit disappointed in Jaime because I would have paid $190.00 on top of the $290.00 to fix a problem that was fixed in 10 minutes and cost much less. Jaime is not a bad individual but seems to think its OK to gauge customers. I urge everyone, get a second opinion, pay for a diagnosis from a professional and check out the issue online first. These people are so shady. I went in for an Uber inspection on 9/8/2015 and my car initially didn't pass since my tail light glass was broken. I went and had it fixed at a local autobody shop immediately thereafter and then had another inspection afterward with an authorized Midas inspector. I passed with flying colors. I since then was reauthorized by Seattle's Consumer Protection Unit/Agency since I passed on 9/10/2015 by Midas. I get an email today on the 18th of Sept. stating I just had an inspection with a Facility Name Stew's Self Service Garage Vehicle Facility Address 11731 120th Ave NE Vehicle Facility Phone Number (425) 803-0747 Kirkland, WA ---------------------- I immediately call that number and the owner told me they haven't done inspections since May of 2015. Shady? Initially when I was into Quality Automobile Service in Kirkland, Wa and they didn't pass me, they also claimed they heard weird noises coming from my suspension, implying that I would need to get it fixed/replaced. I didn't hear anything when I was driving, and neither did my authorized Midas mechanics hear anything. They're trying to make more money off of Uber drivers who get free inspections. Since I wasn't going to play that game, I knew there wasn't anything wrong with my suspension, and I went to Midas after repairing my tail light and passed with flying colors. Now I get a shady document saying I didn't pass, even though there's a discrepancy in the mileage listed as well, proofing that Midas was the more recent inspection where I did pass despite the document claiming the inspection was done today when I HAVE NOT EVEN STEP FOOT OUTSIDE MY HOUSE, while "Quality Automobile Service" in Kirkland in Washington, tried to up sell me on repairing/replacing my front suspension even though there was nothing wrong with it! These motherfuckers are shady as fuck. Stay away. read more

my car broke down at the safeway parking lot and just would not start. i called around and found a mobile mechanic, the guy charged me to come look at it, then wanted to charge me 300 to replace the fuel pump. the guy looked sketchy and it seemed like he didn't know what he was saying so i said no. then i called jaime at quality auto mobile service, he asked me what kind of car it was and if i was at a safe place, it took him 30 minutes to come down to where i was at and told me that sometimes it is as simple as a blown fuse, he took 5 minutes, found the bad fuse and got my car running! he was very affordable compared to the other mechanic and resolved my problem right away. After telling my parents about this, they told me that our neighbors had told them about Jaime before and that he came highly recommended.
