I gave up after they canceled three times and did not get my deposit back for three weeks. I made the mistake of calling them two months ago. They made an appointment to come out and look at the tree that needed trimming, but they showed up early, so I did not have the opportunity to speak with anyone. I received a bid that was higher than others, but I wanted a quality job so I went with them. Don't be fooled by the professional website. They try to upsell you on other services. Okay, I paid the deposit and then waited... a week later they contacted me and told me when they would come out for the service. I made arrangements with the tenants, then they rescheduled due to heat and smoke. Understandable. We set another date; I notified the tenants, and they canceled again. Then somebody called me and said that they could do it on Sunday. On Monday, they said they couldn't do the job, but would stop by with a pole trimmer. At that point, I asked about the refund policy. Without further conversation, I got a text saying my refund had been processed. Two weeks later, I called to ask about the refund. More runaround, then I got an email stating it was being processed by their corporate office in New York. I did receive it after about three weeks. In the meantime, I called an actual local company, Priceless Tree Care. They showed up on time, were very knowledgeable, charged no upfront deposit, and did a great job. The equipment was top notch and the crew's skills were impressive. The tree/stump was removed with care and the space cleaned up nicely. The crew was professional and great to work with. Though this project was expensive, it was money well spent. Arbor Safe is a company that has the equipment and crew to get the job done safely and in a timely manner. This should really be the most simple and basic strategy of ANY business. its really not a miraculous thing to say, and is definitely not something that should set you above your competitors. Basic business... do what you say you are going to do, and do it. In my experience Parker Tree Service's employee Chad apparently didn't get informed of the motto. I called Parker Tree Service on Sep. 17 to get a bid to prune up my trees. Chad showed up and we had a good conversation about my trees. I have nearly a decade of previous experience as a professional applicator. I know trees fairly well and felt Chad was in the know and i trusted him. He was in no hurry to move on and he was good at bullshitting, it was a great experience. Having said that, I can see why its hard for him/them to keep a schedule. when he was done at my place he went over to my neighbors house and talked to them for quite a while... really nice of him, but you see why it could be hard to do what you said to your other customer that is booked for the next appointment when Chad has no sense of time? On October 1 I sent Chad a text and asked him if he had a chance to get a bid worked up for me. He told me right then that he had it almost done and was going to be sending out bids the following day. Nothing.... So I patiently waited. October 17, I texted Chad. "Hey buddy just following up on that bid" READ notification showed up on his side..... no response. so I waited one hour and texted him again.... READ notification but no response, texted again... same thing. He was clearly not following the motto, and was ignoring me. So I called the office. the person that answered was friendly and seemed to be appalled about the situation. she said someone would call me about this. I am guessing it was a manager or owner maybe that called me. She had no concern about the situation. She told me that Chad had been sick a while ago, and was definitely not ignoring me. At the same time, or maybe a second before they sent me my bid. So the lady told me "Chad already sent your bid...I can see its sent right here." What a joke. I was looking for a local company who would "Do what they say" but Parker is definitely not the place! Local, yes... INTEGRITY....NO! I told Chad not to worry about it, his company thinks he is the bees knees and he has nothing to worry about. He is a really tree smart guy, but he just cant do what he says and nobody seems to give a shit. As a local business owner I cannot support this kind of lack of customer service.

I had a giant tree that was very heavily overgrown and looked like it was dying... He came with his crew and did an amazing job and the tree looked beautiful afterwards... It's been about five months and the tree appears to have completely recovered... I would have cut that tree down according to the recommendation of several other tree services that I had to come over... But it is healthy and beautiful because of climbing Sammy. They were amazing and clean too
