History
Established in 2009.
My children got my awfully sensitive skin. So, when they started breaking out in red bumps at a young age I was concerned. We saw several doctors and finally one suggested it was an allergic reaction to a skin care product. Sure enough, cut out the "baby wash" and "baby lotion" and they stop breaking out. But why? So I researched the ingredients only too find most of our soaps had a milled, melted, and preserved version of chicken fat (awful for your skin, by the way) and their baby products were loaded with formaldehyde and mineral oil. Having always had farm animals and known the health benefits of raw goat milk I decided to make my own soap for us. Friends and family love it so much I took my business education and made it my work.
Meet the Business Owner: Amanda W.
Having always loved animals it comes as no surprise my business now relies on them. My goats produce the milk I use in my products and so are my most valuable asset - and beloved pets. I raise them alongside my Rottweiler, my 3 kids, and my husband (sh don't tell him I said that).
I studied business and animal science in school with an emphasis on operating an animal business. I'm not sure this is quite what they had in mind, but it is exactly where I want to be. I believe in my products because I use them, my children use them, and we experience the benefits. I should be so lucky to spend the rest of my life raising goats and making soap.
