After waiting in line at the check-in and going through a metal detector we were directed to a waiting room where a friendly employee explained that there was a mysterious story that you could try to figure out or you could just explore. Then they led us into the room to start exploring at our own pace. It was a really cool experience and full of creatively fun art. It was definitely an out of this world experience. After spending a few hours exploring we briefly visited the souvenir shop. We didn't get anything but they do have a variety of things to purchase. Overall The Real Unreal Meow Wolf is worth a visit if you like hands on experiences with a mysterious story that you can try to figure out while enjoying the creative art work.

We were there for a variety of choices for lunch, mistake I guess! We ordered from 3 different places. The food is really expensive (like a theme park) for what it is. It's slightly better than fast food, but is definitely meant for a captive audience. This is no Legacy Hall. The plus is the building is beautiful, fresh and new. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and felt like it was MEANT for Christmas holiday decorations. So... if only for that, I recommend doing the Polar Express train and ending with hot cocoa (or a drink) here.

It's a nice, free place for a slow-paced stroll, but a bit underwhelming if you are looking for a vibrant atmosphere.

There are statues and benches throughout the downtown area that add to the charm of historic downtown grapevine. Some of my favorite areas in the historic downtown area are talking animals (book shop), house of shine (non-profit/museum) and the farmer's market of grapevine. I look forward to my next visit.

Happy hour is offered Monday-Friday 3:00pm -6:00 pm. On Sunday-Thursday they also offer Happy hour 9:00 pm-11:00 pm. On Monday nights they offer all you can play games after 4:00 p.m. for 12.99. Also everyday except Saturday you can play activities for 19.99 plus a 10.00 fun card. The staff was very friendly. My daughter's friend lost her phone and one of the staff was able to find that it was left in the bar. We were very grateful that he took the time to help us check. There is a large private parking lot, restrooms, & an indoor event space you can rent. Immediately nextdoor is a nice playground, 4 pavillion with picnic tables, basketball court, & a couple pickle ball courts. We reserved the park pavilion for a toddler bday party and it was perfect. Kids got their wiggles out & we invited a princess who we enjoyed some activities with in the garden.
