First time visiting this arena during the NCAA Women's Sweet 16. The venue was packed and electric. Easy access to the restrooms throughout the entire venue on all levels. Getting through security was pretty smooth. Be mindful of the bag policy, I would hate for you to walk to the gate to be turned away due to size of bag. There is a parking garage that's attached to the bridge to the venue directly. Also plenty of parking across the street that may be less in price than the garage. Unsure if certain events determine a price difference. The venue is accessible and able to meet needs of those with special accommodations. They offer a little of everything at the concessions that's reasonably priced, unlike other facilities. The icing on top was having a funnel cake stand to partake in. Went to a March Madness game at Dickies Arena and had a great experience. Parking was $35 but super quick and easy. The arena is clean with solid food options: fried catfish basket was one of the best stadium foods I've had. It felt outdated a bit inside, but overall solid. read more

Two weeks ago, I came here to take Thing Two to see Baby Monster because she's one the #1 Monstiez! As this was my first time coming to this location from the ATX, I relied heavily upon what the website indicated was for attending live events. The parking here is 30.00 cash regardless of what type of parking you require (disabled etc.). However, there is parking for either 20.00 or 25.00 dollars adjacent to the venue that's private and unassociated with Dickie's Arena. As I was dropped off, for those who elect to Uber/Lyft/ doRide-sharing, there is a drop off area directly in front of the venue. The clear bag policy inst practiced here. However, small bags are permitted. I took my standard issued "Mom pouch" aka Lulu Lemon fanny pack. Once inside the venue, event goers will notice the clean lines and Art Deco style. The arena offers box seating, club seating, and other luxury amenities. There are full bars on each level to include premium pours (Hendricks, Tito's, Johnny Walker, etc.). In addition, the venue has several food options from Tex-Mex to hand held foods. Of the things listed above, I was most impressed with the architecture and the cleanlenes of this venue. Of the many venues I've been to in Texas for live music events, both large and small, this location is a the top of the list for it's service and cleanlenes. Although Thing Two and I didn't have floor seats, we had seats that were very close to it on the lower level. From our vantage point, the view, accoustics, and seat size were ideal. The floor seats appeared to be black fold out chairs with the puffy seat cushion and backing. For those considering floor seats, this should be taken into consideration. As this arena was built for the main purposes of Cattle shows, the open area spacing in the center of the arena makes sense as having permanent seating in the middle of the arena would certainly defeat the arena's original intent. Last it should be noted that no smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes or allowed in the venue. *Save your smoking for Round Rock Amp, Germania Ampatheather and the like* Overall, the venue made a great first impression! read more

This month, I visited the Dickies Arena to see Babymonster for their first world tour! I had a great experience arriving and leaving the venue. There are many friendly, and helpful staff around to help with questions. I would recommend to read the Dickies Arena website to be familiar with their bag policy and parking before coming. Parking: Easy. I parked at the Yellow Lots and there was plenty of parking and a decent walk to the arena. After the concert, the parking lot was well lit, and easy to navigate to find your car. Arena: the seats are very comfortable and easy to find. Throughout the concert, the AC was working amazingly and it felt great in the venue especially with a lot of people attending. My seat showed a very clear view of the stage with no obstruction. Lobby/Space: The overall place was extremely clean and pleasant to walk around in. Hi Everyone! Yesterday I saw The American Performance Horseman at Dickies Arena as well as a concert with The Brothers Osborn. It was my first time visiting the arena. This is a beautiful venue to see any event! It is beautiful inside! Clean. And very easy to Navigate. The seats are very comfortable and it is the perfect size so that you feel like there isn't a bad seat in the house! Parking is right next door and easy to navigate. Food and beer is a bit on the pricy side, so I suggest you eat before you come. The service was good. The ushers, security staff and parking attendants very friendly. I've just been to two concerts here but had fun both times and it was an easy experience. Parking is pricey. I think it's a little discounted if you buy ahead. Beer vendors were plentiful and the ushers and people monitoring things were helpful and nice. Sound was fine. For a larger arena show this worked out well - we were in the pit each time. I finally got to attend the Dickies Arena! My friend from Church had an extra ticket to Life Surge. She asked, if, I wanted to go. I said, yes. I love to support Christian messages. Life Surge had an all star cast that included my Pastor, Craig Groeshel of Lifechurch. He was the first speaker of the day. He really set the tone for the rest of the speakers such as the Benham Brothers, Emmit Smith, Kayleigh McEnany and so many other speakers. The event focused on testimonies of financial struggles however, they put their hope and faith in Biblical Principles which help them create a Kingdom Mindset to prosper and help others. We worshiped through the afternoon with music from Bethel. They performed a lot of great worship songs! Parking was $35.00! There was a line to get parking. A small line to walk in. We had to scan a QR code to get the program. I noticed the girl holding the QR code sign accidentally took it away ,while someone was trying to scan it. The staff was pretty friendly though. Some of the concessions were Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Funnel Cakes and so much more. Prices were like from $5-18. The stairs are steep. They have a lot of rails to hang on too. I would definitely encourage you to hold on because it was crowded with $8000 people in attendance. The seats were fine. I was there from 8-6 pm . I was not ever uncomfortable. However, the seats are too close to the seat in front of you. Leaving minimal space to walk through. The seats have drink holders that fold up for your convenience. However,The drink place holder is not in a convenient spot. It's in awkward position. The arrangement of the seat is a bit different. I had to turn my head to the side to view the event. There's just a large stage with two large screens on the side. Oh well. The sound is just ok. There was a bit of an echo The Bathrooms are so clean and inviting with large mirrors and modern faucets. I noticed lots of advertising for TCU. As, we left traffic was so slow. Slow like in not moving at all for like 30 minutes. While parking and concessions are over priced and seating isn't the best. Life Surge was well worth attending the Dickies Arena. You will have to check out the Dickies Arena sometime. read more

We have come here for two concerts so far and have really enjoyed our experience. You can't really have a bad seat in the house for a show! The restrooms are very well maintained and spacious. The general areas are pretty clean and well-marked so you can easily find your way around. There are plenty of food and drink options, and although the menus seem pricy, you get a very generous serving of whatever you order. If you like fries, this is the place! The hot dogs and burgers look massive. Parking is expensive - but you are never too far from the venue. All in all - this is a great event spot. read more

The air conditioner was working fantastic especially with the heat and humidity that occurred yesterday. I was able to stay cool with the completely sold out show. Three days grace and breaking benjamin sounded fantastic. No sound issues or tech issues either. The merch booths were a little small but was still able to get stuff i wanted. I've been here only once, which was for a concert. I drove over from the Dallas metro area and stayed the night. I took a ride share to the concert, and the arena had done a good job of marking where they were supposed to pick up and drop off. I got there early for a meet and greet and had plenty of time after that to find my seat, hit the restroom (big and clean!), and the merch stands. The arena (I think?) had a number of employees walking around with cold beverages, much like you see at football games. The options included water and alcohol, so take your pick. The inside was well air-conditioned, which was most welcome given that I'd nearly melted outside. I'd recommend doing the ride share thing for a show here -- I stayed in a hotel in downtown Ft Worth, and both rideshares together were less than what a parking space would've cost if I drove over myself. That'll depend on where you're staying, of course. I would definitely come back to Dickies Arena for another event ! read more

Lovely family-style venue that's very accessible and looks relatively new & classy. Attended NCAA Championships here and there were lots of families & kids in the crowd. Tons of Oklahoma fans but also a lot from Utah, LSU, UCLA, Missouri, and Florida. Cavernous interior, spacious & clean bathrooms, and decent prices for concessions as Dickies doesn't outsource which keeps costs down. We had great seats just 8 rows up from the floor for a very reasonable price ($52 before resale fees & taxes). Would come here again, it was a great experience! read more

My latest excursion to Dickies was easy-peasy in all the important ways. Parking was easy. The walk from the parking lot to the venue doors was short and easy. Finding our seats was easy. Finding drinks and the bathroom and snacks--easy. Being able to see the stage without anyone impeding my view.. easy! The prices aren't easy on my wallet, personally speaking (especially the drinks, geez).. but everything being convenient and clean makes the cost hurt a little less. Came here with a friend to see Jhene Aiko (+ others) and we had a blast! I paid in advanced for parking in the yellow lot and we arrived around 545PM as doors opened up at 6PM. It was easy to park, get into the arena, and find our seats. We decided to purchase drinks and snacks as well which was very pricey. We thoroughly enjoyed the show and the ambiance Jhene left was a vibe! Now, here's where it goes extremely down hill. Leaving out the arena was easy enough but exiting the parking lot was so unorganized and A MESS! While everyone was stuck in the yellow lot they were letting all the cars out of the parking garage. We literally sat for about 30 mins before they finally started letting us out! It was miserable and made for a disruptive end to our amazing night. If you choose to come here for a large event.. use the parking garage as they seem to get preferred treatment and arrive a tad bit earlier to give yourself time to get organized. read more

Dickies was excellent. This was my first trip. The acoustics were absolutely fabulous. Comparatively I was somwhere else on Monday night, that may or may not be a ball field, and the acoustics there sucked bad. I will definitely return. Sat on the floor this time, but may sit higher next time. Nothing wrong with the floor, until people stand up in front of you and won't sit down. Staff was great. Spill cleanup was great. First time at this venue, and everything was seamless. The seats were very comfortable and surprisingly had nice cushion. We didn't know what to expect because most arena use the generic plastic stadium seat but not dickies. Decided to pay for parking when we purchased our tickets, which also saved time, and there was plenty of signage to guide us once we arrived close to the venue. The event staff were very helpful, so we were able to smoothly make it inside through security and to our seats without getting turned around. The sound quality within the space was amazing from where we sat. If you're ever thinking of checking out a concert at Dickies, give it a try. I attended the Missy and Janet Jackson concerts, both in July. The parking is confusing, although convenient once you understand the set-up. The ticket/security line moved fast and the bathrooms are clean. Like most venues food and drinks are overpriced. The seating is comfortable and there isn't a bad seat in the house. The acoustics left much to be desired. At times all you could hear was the bass/ear-ache inducing instrumentation/playback versus the artist. I'm hesitant to attend additional concerts here for that reason. read more

Attended the AAC Men's Basketball Semi-finals and Championship games. The complex is always clean both inside and out. I've never had a problem with the safety of neither myself nor my vehicle while there. The restrooms are always clean and the arena was clean. The concessions were awesome during the tournament! Different areas sold different things. There was a variety-hamburgers, nachos, hot dogs, chicken strips, wraps, paninis, quesadillas, funnel cakes and the usual usual concession food. I had one of the biggest and best carne asada quesadillas! Those two days at the tourney, I also had some banana pudding, a chocolate cupcake made with Bailey's and a funnel cake!! read more

Dickies Arena of the better venues I've been to in the DFW area. Parking was $25 when I went (pricing is dependent on the event); either cash or card is accepted. There are 2 open parking lots and a parking garage. Since the venue is newer, it's pretty clean, especially the bathrooms. Food wasn't good. Would highly advise to eat beforehand. Man...this this far has been one of the best concerts I have attended this year, hands down. Everyone who performed brought nothing but energy, talent, and appreciation for all the fans supporting their careers. My seat was an amazing corner spot with nobody sitting next to me so I could dance without bumping into anyone. The merchandise, food, and beverages were overpriced, to say the least. Speaking with another fan, she paid $7.00 for a tub of popcorn, $4.00 for a bottle of water, & $5.00 for a cookie. I ate before I arrived I already knew better. Ok ok, this is was a Phenomenal show on ice. I can honestly say, everything was moving beautifully even though we arrived two hours early just because we knew traffic would be hellacious for this event and it was. We didn't like how folk were still walking looking confused for their seats after the show was already twenty minutes in. There should be a cut off time for everyone to be seated at least forty-five minutes before the show. We had to weave and bob our heads to see the performance. Lastly we were very unimpressed by All the Disney Characters came out on Ice at the end except for Princess Tiana from The Princess and The Frog. We gotta do better Disney's Frozen On Ice. read more

Another phenomenal visit to one of the best venues EVER. All of the personnel at Dickies exhibits true Fort Worth hospitality. For this time around we were there to see Cirque du Soleil Crystal. Cirque du Soleil on ice. It was incredible. We attended the Sunday early evening performance. Our party decided to go to the concession stand to get something to eat during the performance. I ordered the Bacon Jam burger with fries. What a surprise, it was wonderful, and the fries served hot and crisp. Normally much of concession stand foods sit around and lose a lot of its deliciousness. Not at Dickies, they got it down to serve the freshest food at their venue. Dickies never fails to please. Good concert experience! We came right before the main set (Kings of Leon), and there was ample parking left. Parking was $25. I wish there wasn't a charge for parking, but unfortunately it's pretty status quo. The arena is clean with many retrooms and food/drink venders on the 1st and 3rd floors. Sound was good and not too loud! Didn't walk out with my ears ringing. Took about 20-30 minutes to get out of the parking since we left at the end of the concert. Helpful staff directing the traffic. QUICK REVIEW -- Big indoor stadium. Lots of parking outside in the open lot. If you are driving from Fort Worth, TX, the drive will take you about an hour and 30 minutes or just an hour and 15 mins depending on traffic. I hit rush hour traffic when I left Dallas so my drive took longer than an hour plus I was in a rental car so I drove slower. BACKSTORY -- I drove to Fort Worth, Texas from Dallas when I visited Dallas in November 2022 for the WTA Finals, the end of year TENNIS tournament for the women's pro-circuit. FULL REVIEW -- Depending on what kind of event you are coming here to see, your experience may be different from mine. Honestly, I had no complaints. I drove here, parked, paid about $10 to park in the outside lot, walked in, showed my ticket to the ticket agent, found an open seat (don't remember if I had an assigned seat), and I watched some amazing tennis. It was a laid back and smooth process to enter the arena. FOOD -- As you can imagine, they charge airport prices. It's highway robbery I tell you (LOL) but what can you do? If you're hungry, you're going to have to just 'bite the bullet' as they say and order something to eat. Nothing will be really healthy so find something that works for you. Dickies Arena is such a great venue! It is smaller than some of the other concert locations in the DFW area, but it still attracts the big name acts. And it is so much easier to navigate getting to this arena than others. Every seat is a good one, and the acoustics are much better than one would expect. read more

We generally had a good experience at this arena during the Jordan B Peterson event. The permanent fixtures letting you know where to go/how to locate your sections were fairly straight forward. Signs were also easy to read and above your head on walls. Concession areas were easy to find but no real dividers to organize the crowds of people. Bathrooms were plentiful and very clean. Floors and surrounding areas were generally clean. A good number of staff on the floor to assist with orienting yourself around the place. There's plenty of places to park. For this special event, it was $25 at the yellow lot. The parking garage is, I can assume, much more money. The lot directly in front of the building was $20 for 45 minutes (and over?) but free up to 45 minutes. There was a huge crowd of people attending this place but traffic and navigating in/out of the place was simple - officers were present to assist. read more

I should've bought seats to either side of the main stage-they are elevated and thus provide a much better view. Of course, also, being short doesn't help either, but I ended up watching the big screen nearly the entire time. Pretty disappointing, but if I ever go back, I'll be ready. read more

Visited the Dickies Arena for the first time in February to see the Harlem Globetrotters. The venue is very nice and spacious. Parking was convenient and a breeze to get into/out of. The restrooms were super clean and well maintained - they also had a few family restrooms around the venue which is always a plus. Unfortunately, we were not able to try the food as by the time halftime came, the concessions were out of many things we wanted to order - next time we'll try sooner. read more

I attended the Seventeen concert on 8/23 and really enjoyed the experience. It was my first time to Dickies and I was surprised with the organization of an event, cleanliness of the entire arena and honestly, the size of the arena. Getting into the parking lot was a breeze. Parking was $25 and there was plenty to go around. Entering the arena was simple. No long lines, no crowded waits or unattended employees. I loved that they allowed us to bring our small purses and not making us swap for the clear bags. The arena felt pretty small when I walked in. The concession stand was right there, merch close by and then your seats. I'm use to huge arenas like AT&T, so that's probably why. Lol but regardless, the seats were great! I wouldn't even mind sitting in the "nosebleeds" because the arena isn't so big where the view would be terrible. It's also not steep! My one complaint would be the side screens. They need to be much much bigger for those sitting in the back or in the upper level. I had a hard time seeing it from The corner section, can't imagine others. read more

We came for the rodeo during a stay in Dallas. Parking is easy. There is a garage you can wait in line to enter, the lot outside the front door is accessed by an entrance next to the parking garage and cost $17. Totally worth it! The coliseum is beautiful. Typically in Boston you go to indoor stadiums and they are gross cattle drive type places. This place oozes class and is aesthetically pleasing. The area is huge and even though we sat up high (section 202) we could see perfectly. Highly recommend attending an event at this location. read more

I do go to a lot of concerts and events at many different venues. This is a 3 star venue. The best it could be is a 4 and here's why: I was here for the Cheap Trick/Rod Stewart Concert. Although it had been delayed a few times over a couple of years (COVID), that did not factor into my review. Getting into the correct parking lot can be confusing as signage was poor. Google Maps information wasn't great and website maps were poor. If one drives a long way to a venue (65 miles for me) and has not been here a few times, an effort should be made with all of the information and technology of today to help the customer out. On one side outside of the arena complex were drinks available for a fee with seating (some in the arena's shadows. The other sides had mobile vendors selling out of iced totes. Why is this important? It was sunny and 102 degrees. Drinks were nice when standing in lines to get in. What's bad, is drinks purchased could not be carried into the arena. Lots of vending options inside, but not a lot of food available unless you wanted nachos or popcorn. A lot of drinks, however. There were bags of peanuts in shells available. In a small indoor arena where people are shoulder and thigh to shoulder and thigh, peanuts in shells are not a neighborly option. I did find a vendor selling hotdogs, bought one and I'm sure someone thought selling those stale buns with tiny dogs humorous. Additional, not enough places to eat food. Stand up tables were sparse. The lobby/concourse area was clean, but didn't find a lot of trash cans. Seating, this is a small arena for a concert. Texas size patrons should expect airline sized seating. This means bring your boot and shoe horns to get you in and out of seats. I really felt sorry for the lady next to me as our shoulders, thighs and bare calves were closely touching all concert and I never got her name. I probably owed her at least a dinner after all of that contact! Sound and lighting wasn't anything spectacular. The stage visuals were nothing special and that could have been the performer's teams and not the fault of the arena. The performers were great but I can't give any credit to the arena for that. These are great performers! Exiting the arena and parking lot was pretty slow for the smaller crowd. Overall, not the best venue compared to the others in the region. read more
