I wasn't sure where to look, and out of the blue, I decided to do some googling and came across this country with, needless to say, a very appealing name! After looking into it, I saw a couple of fantastic things that were green flags immediately: 1. The reviews were glowing (and here's another one - and I never write anything). People seemed to love the company's mission, and I even read that the founder (more in a sec!) created the company just for that reason: he didn't feel people should pay an outrageous amount of money to get their data back. 2. Brian himself. What a guy. He was active on a bunch of forums, and you could tell he put together a small, dedicated team who really valued that people trusted them with their services. And Brian and his team saw me through a bunch of the chaos, answering a bunch of my questions, putting me at ease, and then - through the wonders of the US postal service - procured all of my data again. (I'm backing it up right now - and if you're reading this right now, back up your data too!!) So, yeah. Choose these folks for your data recovery needs! I had two WD (called Western Digital when they…read moredrives were made) HDDs that I needed data from. I was unable to recover data from them in different ways. Disc one was an external drive that would not power on. I tried removing it from its external enclosure and powering it from another, more different enclosure to no avail. The system was indeed down. Disc two was an internal drive that used to be my C drive- my boot drive. I removed it from an old computer after it stopped booting and put it into an external enclosure. Several different computers (Mac & PC) would recognize it sporadically, though none could access the data on it- error codes always came up. Before I removed it, from the old computer, I tried booting from an optical disc and other assorted methods, many other assorted methods... I believe I was very thorough in my efforts. I sent both in and received near 100% recovery. They said it was 100% from one and 99.9% from the other but I am unable to find that .1%. I got all of this for just barely above the $300 price in their name (each, not total). So for about $600 total (including new discs on which my recovered data was transferred and return shipping) I got this incredible service. The total price I paid for both discs at 300DDR is less than I was quoted at several other places for one disc. At each step they were great communicators, from their receipt of the discs to my receipt of the recovered data. I hope I never need their services again but should, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I highly recommend them.

I watched him provide good service to other customers right in front of me. But when it came to me, I couldn't even give him my money. I am a Black man, and I was completely turned away and treated differently from everyone else. I explicitly offered to pay for the services, and put in my own time and effort just to get help, but he refused to serve me. There was absolutely no legitimate business reason for this treatment. What felt the worst was the owner's total indifference--he didn't seem to care at all that he was being completely unfair, treating me differently, or that his behavior was hurtful. I have the data of exactly how this interaction went down. Take your devices, your time, and your hard-earned money somewhere else where customers are actually treated with basic fairness and human respect.

Luckily, this time they were open and I must say that i was pleasantly surprised at the level of service they provide. 1.) he diagnoses your computer on the spot for free and tells u exactly whats wrong with it. 2.) gives you the price up front with no bs fees trying to trap u to use them (i.e diagnosis fee). 3.) backed my needed drives 4.) fixed the computer same day 5.) not only fixes the computer but makes it even better with added ram and free software that u normally have to pay for. Ive went to many local computer repair stores and i must say this store is the best by a long stretch! This store is legit and i couldn't be happier to have finally found a comp repair store that know what they are doing and not trying to rip u off. Dropped my laptop back in 2020 and busted it up pretty bad, never got around to having it fixed…read more Started to actually need to use it more regularly and decided the body was too unstable, so I sent in some photos, computer city repairs quoted me an estimate for the work, and I brought it in the same day. They replaced my hinges, fixed the placement of some of the parts that were out of place and keeping motherboard exposed, and created a fill for the parts that had broken off. Opens and shuts extremely smoothly, I almost forget how janky it was just a month ago. Works great, and was absolutely worth the price they charged, which was extremely reasonable, especially if I can get another 5+ years out of this laptop!
