Lunch special is there even on weekends. Everything tasted pretty good except the Hokkaido milk tea was way too sweet. They take the inkind app payment so could snag a deal here.

The portions here are really big. We got the lamb cumin and it was a huge portion. The food here all tastes good. Very flavorful. They serve fresh homemade noodles. They have $12.99 lunch specials which comes with a drink and the pickled cucumbers. What a great deal! The numb spice here is really good. It tastes fresh and strong. No complaints, will definitely be back. It's a small restaurants. You order at the counter and pick up your food at the counter. HAPPY SPICING!

Qin West is that zero frills spot you go to when you just want good food without the fuss. Don't come here expecting ambiance, spotless floors, or anyone to ask how your day's going. Zero vibes here. This is a quickly eat in restaurant or grab-your-food-and-go kind of place. The food? Delicious. Straight up. Everything I've tried has been solid, but the wonton soup deserves its own fan club. It's warm, flavorful, and exactly what you want after a long day. Get it on a cold chilly day, you'll thank me!! Quick tip: if you download the InKind app, you can pay through it and perpetually get 20% off!

I was introduced to this place by my friend. As it turned out, they serve very delicious food here. I really liked it. The prices are reasonable, so I highly recommend it to everyone who loves Asian cuisine and tasty noodles!

If you're looking for some quick grab spicy noodle, this is your place to go. Prices are very friendly, but mild is quite spicy, mostly because of the chili paste so you can definitely remove that if you're not a spicy person. The noodle came with some basic toppings of meat, egg and pickled veggies. Very flavorful and highly recommended for a quick grab.

This place is like on the bottom of an apartment/condo complex. There's a parking structure, but not sure if you have to pay or what. But I did see there was an arm thing that goes up and down. There's limited 30 min parking stalls along the road tho. I ordered the Liang Pi. It's a room temperature/cold noodle dish served with bean sprouts and cucumbers with the option of choosing your spice level (I got mild) and add beef (which I did not). It reminds me of a Chinese/Schezwan version of Hiyashi Chuka (Japanese cold noodle). I really liked it! It had just enough spice, with the thicker flat rice noodle. SO good! My husband got the Beef Noodle Soup. It was tasty. My husband got it with the wide flat noodle (it was recommended on the menu). He said it might've tasted better if it was with the flat rice noodle instead. The portions are very generous for one person. We didn't even finish ours. All-in-all, this was a good find and I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Spicy Dry Pot (Beef)

Awesome Chinese spot, just kinda in the middle of nowhere. I love the Spicy Dry Pot. Nice, complex flavors, with a touch of spice (add more chilis if you dare!). This restaurant is in the middle of an apartment complex, parking is aplenty inside the parking structure.

Taiwanese braised pork belly over rice with egg, side of cucumber and milk tea drink for $12!

Located under a building complex, just off of Scholarship Road. There are 6 other locations in Los Angeles area, and I love this spot in Irvine. Featuring incredible lunch specials: entree, side, and choice of Thai tea or lemonade. I highly recommend their Taiwanese braised pork belly with white rice and fried egg, with a side of spicy cucumbers. I selected their Thai tea, which was refreshing!

Liang Pi

There's limited parking in front of the restaurant but free retail parking in the parking garage next to it! It's a casual authentic Chinese noodle place with a lot of options. I ordered the signature liang pi noodles medium spicy and it definitely had a good numbing spice flavor. Prices are pretty normal (but seems like there's a really good lunch menu deal) but portions are large! Overall pretty good experience

Sesame balls

So firstly, the cashier had headphones on and was on phone plus no music therefore awkward and stale vibe inside. Every table was dirty, so there was no clean eating areas. We opted for outside. The food was okay, Beef soup was mostly bland, the noodles in it were kind of tasty, but got more sad as I ate. The beef did not have a good texture in my opinion and the was no flavor to it, not even a beef flavor. The soup is soup, it was pretty decent Wonton soup was the same soup but with chili oil. The actual wontons were tasty and abundant. Sesame balls were classic, can't mess those up. Honestly this was a miss and you would be better off going somewhere else. It just felt plain, but it wasn't entirely bad!

Food was pretty delicious!! Really great lunch meal deal, at $12.99 for a main, side dish and drink. I got the lu rou fan, spicy cucumbers and thai iced tea, which was all pretty tasty. Only downside was that the lu rou fan was a bit oily

Cucumbers, Guilin Soup, Spicy Beef Bun

Everything was really good -- bold and flavorful across the board. The cucumber salad was nice and refreshing, although the flavor leaned pretty mild and mostly tasted like chili oil. I would've liked a bit more complexity, maybe a little sweetness or sourness, but it was still really enjoyable. The noodle soup was great -- super flavorful broth and the pickles paired really well with it. I especially loved the lily flowers -- they had a great texture and it's not something you see offered often. The bun was super flavorful too, packed with cumin, and had a thin, crispy texture. Overall, really solid meal!

Not your typical Chinese food, this place specializes in Northern style Chinese cuisine and northern style Chinese noodles - Beef tendon: 12.5/10 delicious!! - Cucumber: 10/10, would get again - Liang pi: 8.5/10: great hot day dish - Hot dry Noodle: not our cup of tea, but those who enjoy northern style noodles will enjoy it. Warning: has HUGE heaping of peanuts, so beware if you are allergic 6 tables of 4-6ppl, one long bench Parking: shared with the strip lot, 30min parking only

Leaving this review after an almost bad experience to help the restaurant or anyone else that may…read morehave eaten here today. 5 stars for fixing the problem immediately for us. We've been here several times before and what keeps us coming back is the quality of the food. Today, they had a new chef cook our food and it was terrible. Green beans were extremely sour (way way too much vinegar). Mapo Tofu had a ton of oil but not enough sauce, so it was just flavorless except the oil. The fried pork chop was over fried where some pieces you can't even bite through. The rice had too much water in it and was mushy. I rarely return food but this time it was so bad we had to let them know. We returned all of our dishes back to them. They let us know there was a new chef today, and they would remake all the dishes for us with the original chef. The replacement dishes were just as good as all our previous visits and it was excellent again! So thanks to the staff for fixing the problem. I'm not sure if they are training a new chef to take over, or as a backup, but they need to be careful as serving bad quality food like that would drive most people to never come back. We knew the food was good from prior experience, so we knew we could ask why the food quality changed. For first time customers, or those that may have ordered to go - if you had bad food today, it may have been a fluke due to the new chef. Service however was a amazing as usual. For all our visits including today, the staff has been kind and always looking for ways to help out and make sure we were having a good experience. So besides the food being good, I would say excellent service is also huge plus here. Don't be fooled with the automated ordering and robot delivering the food into thinking there is no service. The people behind the counter are awesome! Hope management takes care of this new chef issue quickly since their food quality is the main reason people come here. There was a night and day difference between the original food we got today, and the replacement!

Modern Chinese, Ancient Disappointment…read more EverSpring looks great, sounds great, and is priced like it plans to deliver something memorable. Unfortunately, what I'll remember most is how quickly my excitement turned into polite disappointment. The salt and pepper pork chops were...bold. And by bold I mean shockingly salty, like the chef was trying to preserve them for winter. I've had salt and pepper chops more times than I can count, and this version tasted nothing like any of them. Overcooked, oddly flavored, and just completely off. If this was a creative interpretation, creativity may have gone a step too far. Then there was the crispy beef. I say this with sincerity: it was inedible. Not "I'm picky" inedible--burned-breading-that-tastes-like-toasted-mistakes inedible. Each bite delivered a charming note of scorched regret, like someone deep-fried a crouton and called it a day. I stopped eating not because I was full, but because my taste buds filed an HR complaint. And look, if this were cheap comfort food, I'd shrug it off. But this is sit-up-straight-when-the-bill-arrives pricing. For what we paid, I expected at least one dish to make me say, "Okay, this works." That moment never came. The concept is solid, but the food just didn't deliver. I wanted to love it. My taste buds, however, requested an early exit. Everything went to the trash can. Never again.

This has long been our go-to for Taiwanese comfort food, and while the flavors weren't always 100% authentic, they hit the spot. However, our recent visits have been disappointing. The restaurant has become incredibly "penny-pinching" with their service. I was recently told there would be a $1 charge just for a sprinkle of scallions and another $1 for a small side of clear broth for my dry noodles--requests that were never an issue before. Furthermore, when we ordered extra noodles for my son's beef noodle soup, the original portion seemed intentionally smaller, defeating the purpose of paying for the add-on. Between the degraded service and the "nickel-and-diming" atmosphere, it is no longer worth the 30-minute drive. The vibe has changed, and the pleasure of dining here is gone.

They don't have many table to seat large parties (3+) they mostly have bar seating and the booth seating is pretty tightly packed so just a heads up that if you have a larger party you might need to wait longer. Passion fruit green tea and this was definitely my favorite thing I ordered that day the drink was so light, refreshing, flavorful, but not too sweet the passion fruit seeds being in the drink was annoying though. (4/5) Spicy XLB they came out quick but I wished they were hotter they were just warm but delicious flavor and filling sadly was not spicy though no kick no heat at all. (3/5) Beef rolls nice and crispy lots of scallions and the cucumbers added a nice fresh aspect and crunch but needed more sauce. (3/5) Pan fried dumplings took the longest to come out were crispy but not that flavorful again very filling though. (2/5) Golden prime beef noodle soup I'm sorry but this was just not for my taste at all I can't even describe what flavor the soup was something I have never had before very unique. The noodles were nice and chewy but again I'm expecting soup to be hot but it just came out warm. (1/5) They had some sauce and chili oil on the table and I made a mix but it did not help add flavor to any of the items. I ordered too much and the leftover beef rolls and pan fried dumplings reheated well in the air fryer.

Massive parking lot so that was easy, one friend went ahead and let them know we had 10 incoming. They made room and we sat immediately. One of the spots that you scan a menu at the table and you review, order and pay all in the app. I was really not familiar with the line up and went with the "House Special Beef Pot Roodle" (Roodles are their rice noodles). It was a weekend only item and I tried that. The noodles came separate from the soup. Over all it was very tasty. The meat was a bit fatty and the soup had tendons too. I took that part home and my wife loved it. I tend to avoid the fatty meat and tendons are not good to me. 10 of us so some of the appetizers got passed around. The smashed cucumbers are excellent, and my buddy also got some friend potatoes of sorts, reminded me of a fat French fry. Because my buddy and I sat at the same table we scanned the same menu, he ordered a bunch of stuff and also House Special Beef Pot Roodle. That confused the kitchen and they asked me if I meant to order 2, I said no and didn't realize I cancelled my buddy's order. Part of the confusion of a large party and many scanned menu orders. My buddy was struggling to order and our initial waiter seemed to not understand my friend and that took a little bit to work out, young lady came from the back and was able to quickly resolve some of the confusion and get questions answered as needed. In the end he had lot of food to explore. One thing that caught my eye was several couples there and sharing a large soup item served with a tray of various food items for the soup. Kind of a date night visual and something that looked very interesting. Several couples around us had that same dish and its got me more curious. Might have to come back with my wife and try this one.

Polite, quick, and doing their best in a situation that could only be described as "culinary confusion." The food? I'm still trying to figure out what happened. The broth tasted like it was made by someone who's heard of seasoning but refuses to believe in it. The meat portion? I've seen more protein in a microwavable noodle cup. And then there's the very bold "better than pho" claim. Better than pho?? My brother in broth, that is delusion with confidence. And the price--$19! For that much, you can get a glorious XL bowl of pho elsewhere stacked with meat, loaded with herbs, and seasoned by someone who actually cares. Meanwhile, I took two bites here, sat in silence, reflected on my life choices, and walked out. The bowl stayed behind, untouched and unbothered. To make things even more tragic, I only ended up here because Whealthy Pasta next door opens late on weekends. Honestly, the biggest plot twist of my day. Great service, terrible food. Funny experience, but not funny enough to ever try again. This place disappoints!
