They not only sell vitamins and supplements but it's also a small health food grocery store selling a gamut of organic items from fruit and veggies to prepackaged, frozen items. I especially like their grocery store bulk bins where you can purchase dry goods by the pound. The owner, Mr. Dinesh, is friendly and the store manager has always been helpful. Both always greet me when I visit and if I have trouble finding things, they're always ready to help. One thing not to skip is getting their freshly made in-house samosas. They are ridiculously good and quite possibly the best frickin samosas I've ever had so far. The owner also mentioned to me that they sell lentil soup and Biryani. I'm almost tempted to go back and try that too. JD Mills is situated in a strip mall with ample parking. They have a few dedicated spaces for customers with a 20-minute limit. Check them out! Half the time they'll follow you around making overly personal chit-chat about your body type. They always throw in a few mentions of their "superior" multivitamins, too (total bullshit -- buy a generic multivitamin and save 15 bucks). Like true carnies, they try to rope the customer into spending way more than necessary with a variety of low-grade scare tactics ("Well, that powder is okay, I guess, but if you want REAL results, you'll get the one for $59.99 instead because it has more of the essential amino acids and blah-blah-blah...") Um. Excuse me. If the less expensive product is somehow inferior, then why the hell are you guys selling it in the first place? Huh? That's why I usually order supplements off the Internet. However, one night around Thanksgiving, I needed to replenish my stash and didn't feel like waiting around for a week to get it shipped. I stopped at this GNC on the way home from work and am pleased to report that these guys got it right. The kid working there was polite and didn't creep me out by calling me "guy" or "buddy" and making unsolicited comments about my arms. He simply let me buy the product I requested and wished me a good evening. That's all it takes to get five stars these days: Boundaries, Respect and Courtesy. Store was totally empty and I one customer service person was standing outside. Not a big deal figured she was just on break, so I go inside with her asking about their vape selection as I suffer from severe anxiety and was hoping to get something to help, her very first suggestion was to go to dispensary 33 down the street to get THC marijuana products. I tried to explain that I don't handle marijuana well but was looking for suggestions for helping with anxiety for which she had not a single one, I try to ask about delta 8 which is new to me and the difference between that and other CBD products for which she didn't have an answer. I ended up picking a few items on my own without any guidance from the customer service person and left. Spent $120 on items that I hope may help but who knows. A long time business in the community. It opened in 2004 at this location. A few hard to find specialties like Caribbean, Latin, and West African ingredients can be found. They also have hot food service. Has quite a lot inside. It's located on Morse Avenue at Greenview and is popular with many people. They make a lot of the prepared foods made to order, so it's fresh, and there's a good selection of meats and vegetables.

It's located right in downtown Algonquin and it's "house" so it adds to the charm. There are many different parties to choose from, but each one includes dress-up and a tea party. You can add makeup and hair for additional cost and each party has varying add-ons so the cost will vary, but the cost is very reasonable. This is not a place where parents stay for the event as the place cannot accommodate that many people (I def did not mind that aspect), so be aware of that. I brought my camera and told the parents I would take lots of pics and for them to provide me their email addresses so that I could forward them once uploaded. Once the girls arrive, they go upstairs to where there are racks of clothes, shoes, and many accessories to choose from with all sizes. After the girls have made their final selections, they take a picture then head to their tea party room. There, they have princess tea (which is sprite dyed pink I believe), cookies, marshmallows, cracker/pretzel mix, and cupcakes. They sing Happy Birthday there as well. After that, they change back into their clothes and go downstairs to open presents. Rebecca is a saint and does an excellent job with the party and the girls.
