Amazing teas! I just had a cup of their genmai cha this morning. If you're ever in the area and love tea, stop by Adagio Teas and check out their huge selection. They have a some pretty good promotions. The last time I visited I picked up a bag of spearmint, white grapefruit, earl grey lavender, genmai cha, and gunpowder tea bags. Loose leaf bags of tea are also available. The store is well organized and the teas are arranged by categories. It's very clean and bright in there as well. Service was great too. I loved it so much had been looking for a spot that sold freeze dried fruits and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of fruits that's they had for such a good price!! The store was nicely organized and stocked with sooooo many different options. The employe that was there was nice enough to let me know about the sale that they had going on if you signed up!! There is so much to learn and so many tiny intricacies that o realized I am well below where I thought. I worked with Erika and what an amazing and knowledgeable employees she is. I purchase samples from them when they popped up on facebook literally over a year ago and I waited two weeks, never got them, emailed them, they asked me to wait another week even though I could clearly see from the tracking number that they left New Jersey and never went any further. I waited two weeks, because I got busy, still never got them, messaged them back on both email and via their website, never got a response, decided it wasn't worth it but they kept sending me their stupid promotional emails even after I tried unsubscribing. I started reading their reviews and realized that many others had this same issue and that they are known for their poor excuses and customer services, so I rekindled the complaint, was told I'd be refunded, never got it, so I filed a complaint with the BBB which caused them to respond giving me some sorry excuse about how my initial message got lost because it goes to generic customer service (uh, where else would it go?), and then tried to blame the post office for the problem. They said once again they'd refund me. Never got it. Absolutely sickening. I have NEVER had such a bad experience with a company, not even Amazon. read more

Long time tea drinker but this was my first time visiting this store. The store was laid out very nicely, staff was helpful and friendly but gave us time to look at our own pace. There are so many wonderful sounding flavors but for my first two purchases here I went with the double ginger and the Thai ice tea. Both were amazing but I have to say that the Thai ice tea is my new obsession. For signing up for rewards I was given a few single bag samples. One of those was banana nut bread which I will be purchasing soon. Smells and tastes exactly how you would hope. Can't wait to try out some other new flavors soon too! read more

Was given samples to smell of different teas I was interested which allowed me to better choose the tea. High quality of tea and great taste considering you follow the recommended brewing temperature and time. Would recommend. While I was in Westfield, I decided to drop in at Adagio tea. For an entire week, I was on a mission to find an ideal portable brewing vessel and finding one I liked in store had become a challenge. Online shopping is quick and convenient however, there are limitations. If you're like me, having the ability to feel and test drive products in store is key prior to making a purchase. It's one of the essential things about shopping which is practically devoid when purchasing online. The minute I walked in the store, two feelings came to mind. The first was the feeling of amazement. The array of teas offered and sensible pricing had me wandering around in delight. This was followed by the latter feeling of confusion simply from being overwhelmed by the stock. Thankfully, within seconds, a sales rep (Lauren) immediately came to my aid. Sensing my bewilderment and awe, Lauren was keenly responsive and asked if I was looking for something in particular. I mentioned "tea infuser" and she knew exactly what to look for and where to go. We walked over to the tea infuser section and I picked up a travel sized activiTEA. A few days have passed since my infuser purchase and I'm very pleased with it. It's convenient. I can take it with me anywhere, the brewing instructions are simple, and the handling is easy. As an added bonus, my tea infuser also appears to be dishwasher safe. The best part about Adagio is the pricing. I used to get all my tea wares from Teavana. If I were to do a comparison shop, Adagio tea is easier on the wallet. I used to buy tea from Teavana that cost $15 an oz. Adagio sells a similar brand for less than half the cost. How is this all possible? I learned from Lauren that Adagio purchases their tea straight from the supplier. It eliminated the middle man and kept costs low. Take. The. Class. I love tea. I'm not a tea snob but I prefer to drink tea over basic coffee (give me a blended coffee any day...). I know the tea world is extensive because there are so many varieties and flavors and colors and quali-teas! I saw that Adagio offered classes so I signed the bf and I up since I wanted to know more and ask a bunch of questions. I'm glad we went because we learned that tea is essentially one tea plant and the varieties- black, white, oolong, and green tea are based upon how long the tea is grown/picked- not four different varieties of tea! Adagio is pret-tea amazing because they offer a huge variety of different flavors and this cool class where this tea-lady taught us all about the wonderful world of teas. We both got to sample a few flavors and even got to "touch and feel" different types of tea leaves. It was a pretty decent class and at the end you can pick out a colorful teapot to take home! I highly recommend this place if you want to learn about tea or just pick out something new to try. They have seasonal flavors and a tea-rrific selection. Notes: make sure to make a reservation and go early so you can pick out teas. The "class" itself was around 20-30min so be prepared to sit back and relax :) read more

The saying " the customer is always right " isn't always true because there is two sides to every story. What I do know is regardless of customer an employee is supposed to respresent the store. The reason I am writing my first review is to express how uncomfortable an interaction I witnessed a few weeks ago between another customer and the employee was. Again, two sides to ever story. In my opinion, the employee DID NOT respond to the customer in a respectful manner. I do believe the employee not only upset that customer she was having an interaction with, but other customers in the store, me. The store lost two sales from two different customers. read more
