These guys have problems that are concerning. Here's a little about my experience. Bear in mind that these are first world problems. But gosh did my experience get me fired up. 1) Greeted by a 20 something who was on the phone in a full blown conversation. No eye contact but no biggie. Anyway, she motioned for me to show my ID and I just wasn't impressed from the start. Still, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Idk maybe I caught her in a moment or on a bad day. It happens. That said, I would encourage Consume to creatively and strategically re-think their lobby. Because it's boring, feels like an afterthought and I frankly don't blame her for being utterly bored. 2) THIS is HUGE and my biggest reason for the review: Legit, slowest kiosks I've ever experienced in my life... and I tried three different kiosks there!!! I kid you not: press a button, wait 15 SECONDS and the command is received after colliding with the subsequent button pushes you do while asking is this thing working?! . It made for a very frustrating experience. Here's the thing, I went to McDonalds earlier that day and that kiosk was night and day better by comparison. And granted I know Consume isn't McDonalds but my point is that the tech exists. Personally if I were the owner, I would be up the craw of my POS provider or Comcast because this truly shapes the consumer experience and is slowly turning customers off one at a time. So Pro Tip: order online in advance. Consume MUST look at this. 3) Did I mention the kiosk was SO slow ^ Anyway, the girl told me I could maybe use an iPad when I complained about the speed of the kiosks which was a great solution! But then she added that they have never allowed the iPads into the "lounge" for browsing. So like, she offered and then took it back. I just... anyway, I used my iphone. Not so great. 4) I went to pick up my stuff. I'm supposed to receive a discount. The info I provided has been "good enough" in four other dispensaries. But not here! Despite overwhelming evidence, even the manager wouldn't grant me a discount unless I had this one ID badge. Didn't ask me about what I did... or for other forms of proof... just a no. And that really sucked. I think the problem I'm seeing in other negative comments is management not knowing where they can be flexible. What they were asking for is not required by the law to approve a discount. It's a standard operating procedure that needs to be altered. I would strongly encourage a dialogue with regulators and consistent training in how to handle gray areas that customers approach them with. The fact that I was denied was as silly as it was unnecessary and annoying. I've earned the discount- trust me. I had multiple ways to prove I was in that "discount class" but not that ID badge so it was a no... and I think that management could've shown more flexibility and grace. Morale seems low here and that should be looked at as well. I'd love to see the Budtenders have high chairs they can sit on if they choose. But instead they seem tired and weighed down by the reality that budtending can be hard. I'd have liked just a little more fun or personality. And it sucks because I live 5 minutes away! Anyway, this resulted in me just not feeling welcome AT ALL, there was no room for browsing, no smiles, just slam bam thank you ma'am give me money and gtfo... in attitude and concept; The only thing stopping that phrase from being completely true is the fact that it was SO slow. Honestly, it's so slow bro if you use the kiosk that it's honestly faster for me to go to Cannabist in Jefferson Park 12 minutes away than go to Consume that's 5 minutes away. Plus, I'll actually feel welcome at Cannabist. Bottom line: If you are experiencing cannabis here for the first time, DO NOT think this is the general experience. With new dispensaries coming online, I would strongly advise Consume takes a look at employee morale, re-think their lobby, continue training their managers to include flexibility and grace and for God's sake... for Consume's sake REPLACE THOSE KIOSKS.

Great just great. Never a bad experience when visiting this dispensary in the past. They run out of the better choices FAST, so if you can't find it here, your next best bet is MOCA. If you are thinking about getting a medical card, check these guys out!

By far the best dispensary if you live in WI or Northern IL. It is worth the extra drive. I've…read morehardly ever had to wait. It is the smoothest run and their discount on your first three visits is crazy. Don't be afraid to call as you order online if you have questions. I've been to this location a few times but won't be back. Today, I walked in, was greeted by some…read morefloor staff and directed to the kiosk to place an online order. I added what I wanted and you receive a text to go to the counter. I did, and a woman at the register said "I'll be right with you, one sec" so I stood back a few feet. During this time a few other folks came in, and a different woman at another register (with a Karen haircut) made a weird comment about me not being in line. I said "I didn't know there was a line" and she told me "Well, there is! It's over there but I'll let you go this one time, I guess". I was very confused... was she trying to funny? She certainly was failing, if so. I found her to be quite rude. She continued to chastise me as she rang me up. I guess in the weed business, they don't have to be nice to the customer? She made a face and said "Uh, I need your ID...?" I said "Oh, ok. You didn't ask me for it..." She said "I didn't. You were talking" So, I hear you loud and clear Curaleaf- you don't want my business. I'll go elsewhere. Gotcha Also, the prices online/at the kiosk are "estimates" and can change by the time you get to the register, which I find very odd. Also, if you have to use an ATM card, they have this absolutely bizarre practice of having to round up and then give you change. So, my order came to $36.53, they rounded up to $40, and handed me change (and then explained the $3.50 ATM fee). Since other dispensaries sell the exact same product, why go to a place that is consistently weird and treats you like this? I'll be heading to a different dispensary for my next purchase, thank you very much.
