I don't know why anyone has a bad thing to say about this place. Pricing is a Chicago issue. I just had the best experience with Bud Tender Jamie/Jaime (she gave me her name but I didn't see the spelling) I told her what I wanted, and what reasons. she suggested options and found me the best price available. The servers here are rockstars, and while jumping the border is cheaper, it's got nothing to do with the staff here. Give Jamie Jaime a raise. Heard read more

Did not answer my email when text said it was the quickest. Guy there doing nothing but was rude and very bad at customer service. Just not a nice place. Dark and kinda creepy on a real dead street. Everything boarded up. Kinda shady like. read more

This is a great dispensary, however, they are constantly dealing with inoperable technology such as their debit machines. I would say their debit system is down at least once a week over the past few months. The staff is great and apologetic but the debit situation needs a long term fix. The selection is excellent and prices are also very reasonable. Make sure to order online because their software is very slow at the location which will make your visit longer. read more

The personalities that run and work at this dispensary are fun, and informative. The phone app to pre-order is aggravating, and buggy, but that's a different review. Buy the cannabist deals; best deals are available on off-days like Mondays-Wednesdays. read more

when you first in, you could tell the service they give you. Not just that but also the pricing on it's overpriced compared to other dispensaries. read more

Very accommodating. Thank you jose! Everything I've gotten from here has been solid.

Missing items from pack of pre rolls. Employees don't even answer the phones or respond to emails. Do customers give a sealed envelope of money for them to hope they get enough money??? Not able to check what your buying is insane read more

I love coming to this location, everyone is so friendly and helpful. This time I had the pleasure of being assisted by Erick. He made the check out process so smooth even though I was experiencing a glitch with the app. He was extremely apologetic and made sure I received my birthday discount. read more

Cannabist - Chicago - Review card - Cannabis Clinics Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

There is a lot of good dispensaries that give good deals and has good product- but this place ain't one of them- I got a walk the dog roll up for 25.00 dollars ( infused) I'm telling you! They advertise as being a gram - one gram of weed on the streets makes a blunt- the roll up wasn't even .6 and after a few pulls, the roll up lost its potency, I was so upset - I wrote to the head quarters and called cannabis the next day; after conveying my feelings and constantly being interrupted by the sales person on the phone who spiked to me as if she was talking to her hired help , she hung up and I get an email stating I have multiple instances of disrespectful behavior at there facility and not to come back, the woman flat lied , used her position to be vindictive, I'm not complaining- I get better flower from accend and they give you more - if they say it's a gram , 3.5, then that's what it is , I can't even smoke a lot because their (accend and consume) flower be fresh and good , don't taste like dirt , CBD infused . I wouldn't shop here , con artist - straight liers, anyone that's smokes knows this roll up isn't a gram- read more

I have been a medical customer at the Milwaukee Cannabist location for five years, and have always been very impressed by the employees' knowledge of the products and their friendly, welcoming manner. Recently Stevie was very helpful to me in discussing the "hardware" of various distillate products, so I could make an informed decision on my purchase. I appreciate her help and hope she gets some recognition with my comments. read more

I bought some pre rolls here and got zero effect from them. I'm not an everyday smoker either. I don't understand the weird rounding the amount out thing they do either. Disappointed. I enjoyed the first time 40% off thing though. Staff is fine though. No problem there. read more

Listen I'm been smoking & feeling fantastic because of this joint . The quality is beautiful baby & the staff make me proud like my own family people like my neice Ms Grass, Chris Evans is my dude!, Meagen, ahh Mickey & Jas. And all the employees are the bomb. They make you feel happy about spending your money . I wish sometimes the owners would be present for us customers to meet & share ideas about the product selection which is awesome. Thoroughly disappointed with the place, i live practically walking distance and can't believe they still insist on recommending sativa for an INDICA customer, personally sativa is and always will be GARBAGE!, so BUYERS BEWARE of ANY recommendations or suggestions on purchases by any of these inexperienced staff, only care about a sale so DO NOT BOTHER TIPPING, I wont be back unless i want to ruin my day with frustration and disappointments. read more

Cannabis is my first dispensary experience and where I was treated like a friend, and not a "senior"customer with too many questions! I don't know all the names of Pot, but she suggested Hybrids that are perfect for my preferences! I love this place! read more

I've been going to The Cannabist for many years, probably as long as they've been open. Recently, I stopped by for a little treat and was taken care of by Victor Vargas. Very nice place. Staff is great, very friendly. Good product sales. I order medical on-line and its always ready when I come in. Rv

Victor Vargas is terrific! Wish every dispensary had a guy like Victor. Great mood. Knowledgeable and funny!

Just came in about 30 mins ago for the first time and got the 40% discount. The person who helped me was nice. She hands me my eighth, and it felt like it was .. not very heavy. I took it home and weighed it: 2.8g. I've rarely ever suspected a dispensary to short me but this felt so light I had no reason not to check. I called and asked them about this and they gave me an email to reach out to. 0 stars. There is no excuse for this read more

I've been to this dispensary many times and have NEVER been disappointed. This time was no different. I was served by Angelica, (who I had seen but never interacted with before,) and was a very happy with my experience as she was very kind and respectful throughout my transaction and made sure I was able to pick up all of the things I'd ordered for my fiancé, (as a caretaker). The representation in-terms of gender identity, ethnic background, and levels of knowledge amongst the staff of this location are top-notch and I always feel welcome in the space whenever I enter its doors. Thank you Cannabist-Chicago. Never change! read more

Three buses here and you give my order away? I placed it four hours ago and it's gone, so you didn't have or you gave away. The people working there don't seem to understand the process either. They tell me they put it aside as soon as ordered but it's gone. Alien abduction? F you Cannabist with your moronic system of screwing over customers. read more

Cannabist - Chicago - Some solid smoke! - Cannabis Clinics Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

For years.. since before they remodeled I've been going here and consistently giving them 5 stars. I haven't been there in a while and I guess things have changed.. definitely got the worse. I placed my order, they were running a special of buy one get one 70% off "the entire store"... NOT TRUE! So I choose my stuff, online it's showing it took 70% off the vape... I drove from Rolling Meadows and they tell me "sorry the computer made a glitch" and proceeded to tell me that it's been showing people on their the mark down but that it will be full price on their end once they charge me. So I'm paying more than my order was??? The website stated that some discounts will be applied at the register, I'm thinking rewards points or some daily deal and that I might actually pay less then the total plus taxes.. But I paid more than the total because of problems with their service.. that's not right at the least and more along the lines of fake advertisement.. it said 70% off the ENTIRE store.. more than half the store was on sale. It was the day before Christmas Eve! So then I have someone trying to sell me garbage for around the same much as the good stuff I drove 40min for.. so I just paid full price for the stuff I wanted and not some cheap compromise I'd be angry at myself with for letting someone talk me into. But it looks it's the last time I'll be visiting them. I should have known something was up when I saw bunches of people walking out the exit upset with no products! read more

The touch screens at the entrance are consistently awful, but the employees avoid that area like the plague. No team member is ever looking when people are having a hard time with those screens (myself included), and I see it happen every time I'm there. I've encountered 2 friendly people at most, and I've been there at least 10 times. Their website has a sticker that says something to the effect of "best cannabis business to work for, 2022." Something doesn't seem to add up here. I think it's fine to find a new dispensary. read more

Great customer service friendly faces. Sophia was very helpful with deciding what to get

Thank you for Viktor V. for helping. The great store with best prices.Perfeeeeeeeeect!

I visited Cannabist - Chicago for the first time last week and had a great experience. They were running some great specials and I also received a generous first-time medical customer discount. The store was easy to navigate and there were lots of staff there to help this first-timer out. Meg N was my budtender and they were super thorough in checking my (large) pre-order for accuracy. We chatted about my selections and I was on my way. The location is a bit of a drive for me, but I will definitely keep an eye on their specials menu and stop in when I'm in the area! read more

I tried to order a day ahead on their website but they only allow same day. I set the pickup time for between 1:30 and 2:00. I arrived just before 2:00 and found the order wasn't ready. Of all the dispensaries in the city this is my go to. Fast, efficient and professional. The staff (Carmen is usually the staff member that I go to) is very knowledgeable of all their products guiding you to find the natural item you need be it salve, tincture etc etc. Safety is a big concern for me. There location is not sketchy as others, yet they have the most professional security I've seen. In closing it's easy access, spotless, Fair prices to others especially if you follow their specials which I always. read more

Great place! Friendly staff!! Recommend this spot to anyone if you want premium cannabis product.

Been coming since they opened and they've been consistently friendly and helpful. The evolution of the shop aesthetic has been pretty amazing as well. the satff really knows what they talking about especially Angelica. She was amazing and really chill.

Staff is always pleasant, courteous, and able to answer my questions. Security is what you'd expect for a business that deals with cash, but the personnel is friendly and not overbearing and the store setup is navigable and does not feel crowded or mazelike. Selection is on par with other dispensaries in the area. Online orders are ready on time. Megan did a great job with my most recent transaction. read more
