The work ethic is consistently lacking. The reason I am writing is because your ice cream selection is quite simply not only expensive but disgusting. It is clear that stock has thawed out and then broken open when refreezing. I expect better quality when you want $7 for ice cream. Pictures are from the Broadway store AND the Claremont store. BOTH are disgusting with leaking stock, crushed containers and things no one should pay full price for.

Delicious Turkey sandwich made fresh at the deli.

Oh you poor little diamond in the slag heap. You're in north Everett, that's bad enough, but you also seem to be a mecca for drug addicts and panhandlers. This is the only grocery store I've ever been to that had a visible security guard, and boy was he needed! Outside there was a panhandler who was tweaking on the sidewalk unable to stand straight. The parking lot was filled with two kinds of vehicles: Ones from the people who work in the neighborhood and obviously didn't belong, and 30 year old barely functioning trash heaps that held residents of this waste zone of a neighborhood. Inside, this looks like a normal QFC, I suspect if it wasn't for the large professional buildings in the vicinity - the court house, the PUD, etc., this grocery store would fold in a week. A lot of the clientele were obviously people on their lunches picking up a sandwich or a few groceries to bring home after work. They were the ones who were wearing clothes that have been laundered. Then there were the other ones, drifting through the store like zombies on a movie set. What a complete American tragedy and shame. It's not a safe place, that's the bottom line. However, I was taking a class in the area and found myself in this neighborhood and decided to go to QFC and pick up a turkey sandwich from the Deli as QFC's have a very good deli. I wasn't disappointed. The sandwich was delicious and exactly what I ordered on my order form. The employees were quick, efficient and professional, but my God, I'll never be back.

August 7 and STILL not following the mandated mask requirement!!!!!!

If you experience terrible service or witness employees flaunting the mask mandate at this store, don't waste your time contacting store management, CALL KROGERS and file a complaint. Krogers owns QFC and has mandated that all employees wear masks. 1-800-Krogers

Close to our hotel, nice that it's 24 hrs. Not as big as a Safeway but has the usual selection though the produce, left side, was just ok. The cut-fresh fruits didnt have as much variety.

Best sauce at QFC. Absolutely my favorite!

The produce section continues to rock, as do the superb meat and seafood sections. The former asian section is mostly mixed in now, and that is fine. It still has a huge variety of top-quality items. Cheese has shrunk a bit since the new restaurant opened, but it's still good. Deli meats are a little less appealing, but still good. This is a wonderful grocer, neck-and-neck with the other local/regional high-end grocer, Metropolitan Market. Of the two, I prefer T&C. Both are great.

We stayed out of the middle aisles, shopping on the edges. The last time we were in, the original sushi people were gone, replaced by some run of the mill contractor with fishy tasting garbage. This time, prices were unbelievable. We all know that Covid affected the supply chain and things got expensive. The supply chain has been fine for awhile, yet everything is ridiculously expensive. I am not poor. I think I have a relatively decent income. When I mentioned that I was likely to stop including this store as a regular option, I was met with death stares. Seriously? We were followed to our car and asked to not come back. Seriously? I actually went back inside and took photos of the staff running away from me. We weren't violent. We didn't cuss. We weren't loud. We just called you out for being a money-hungry conglomerate charging as much as the richest customer will pay. You should be ashamed at how exclusionary your store really is. And obviously your staff isn't trained on anything remotely close to empathy. If they were, there attitude would have been much better. Effen Mill Creek snobs.

Pre-Covid pricing?! Inflation, what inflation? I love you WinCo!…read more This store has the exact layout and signage of older Cub Foods stores in Minnesota and other Midwest states. I worked at Cub for about 10 years in the 90s so I almost fainted when I walked in a few weeks ago. It is an exact replica. I've been in the area for 3 years and have been so disappointed in the grocery stores here. Prices elsewhere (I'm especially looking at you Safeway ) are convenience store levels of ridiculousness. And product selection is usually dire at conventional stores unless it's Walmart (ugh) or Fred Meyer. I get it, conventional grocery stores are pricier because of "service". But let's be honest here. Mainstream grocery stores now offer less than zero service. Shoppers are generally treated like an inconvenience. "Hey Safeway clerk, your 2% milk is empty at 5pm. Can you please bring some out? No? What do you mean you don't have anyone to restock?" Hmm, only self-checkout open? Let me ALSO do your employee's job. Do I get a self-checkout discount? Previous to my recent discovery of WinCo, I bought staples at Costco and only shopped the BOGOs or loss-leaders at QFC/FredMeyer and Safeway with an occasional emergency visit for a needed item or two. But I think I could do 99% of my shopping at WinCo, get everything I need and still save a significant amount of money. Does anyone know of the connection between WinCo and Midwest-based Cub Foods? The similarities are not coincidental because the signage and layout are identical and unique.

While I was entering my cash, an employee named Tara came up, leaned over, and in an accusatory tone asked if I had entered the water, scrutinizing my screen closely and even putting on her glasses to "inspect" it. When I told her I had and asked if she could check her own screen, Tara became offended and escalated the situation, yelling in front of other customers, "You don't have to be rude, I am just doing my job. I can call a manager." This public humiliation was completely unnecessary. After completing the transaction, I spoke to the store manager on duty, only to be met with a generic "I will talk to her," with no meaningful resolution. This incident raises serious concerns about Winco's self checkout procedures. Customers are already forced to perform cashier duties due to understaffing, and now we are subjected to suspicion and harassment for simply doing their job. Checking for unscanned items is part of an employee's job, yet Tara chose to publicly accuse and yell at a paying customer instead. Winco, this behavior is unacceptable. Self checkout should not come with humiliation, intimidation, or yelling from employees. Your staff needs proper training to treat customers with respect while doing their jobs

The guys who work the fish counter are personable and knowledgeable. The man who helped us made a good suggestion for the type of fish to use in a soup, and didn't grumble when, near closing, he had to start up the equipment to cut it for us. The parking lot can be busy but I just choose to park farther away from the door. Also, try to go during an off hour--the veggie section (and the store in general) can get crowded. I suggest stopping by the deli section at the front of the store to see what treats are available. Last time I tried a tasty steamed cake wrapped in banana leaf. Another tip is to jump on specials as soon as you see them. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up an entire pack of oxtails for 1.99 a pound. I went back a few days later and they were gone. I still bought oxtails, for up to $2.00 less a pound than other stores. Lastly, double check the expiration dates on prepackaged foods. Every once and a while you'll find one that is past it's prime.

This makes me wonder if old meat is being cleaned up and given a new date to look fresh. If that's happening, it's not just unacceptable -- it's dangerous and dishonest.
