This store is not only extremely rude to their customers. They'd rather let someone run out the door with stolen items , then give their customer a deal. The drinks I wanted to buy were buy one get one free. They were marked down to two dollars apiece. My total discount would've been $4. Rather than give discount to a paying regular customer, they told me no. I'd rather go where my shopping matters where I'm recognized as a Neighborhood community member who gives back and buys at the store in her community. The store is a joke. They let people steal and walk out the door with baskets full of food, but they cannot give their paying customer a $4 discount. They only got a star because I had to give one to post the review. This is a very clean and beautiful store with a lot of different items that you can't find anywhere else. It is located in the not so good neighborhood so be prepared. Employees are wonderful and will help you find what you need to find in the store and the meats, fish, and vegetables are all fresh. The parking is incredible and never need to worry about a spot there. It's very large. The prices are a little bit high and steep, but it's worth it. read more

The work ethic is consistently lacking. The reason I am writing is because your ice cream selection is quite simply not only expensive but disgusting. Oh you poor little diamond in the slag heap. You're in north Everett, that's bad enough, but you also seem to be a mecca for drug addicts and panhandlers. This is the only grocery store I've ever been to that had a visible security guard, and boy was he needed! Outside there was a panhandler who was tweaking on the sidewalk unable to stand straight. The parking lot was filled with two kinds of vehicles: Ones from the people who work in the neighborhood and obviously didn't belong, and 30 year old barely functioning trash heaps that held residents of this waste zone of a neighborhood. Inside, this looks like a normal QFC, I suspect if it wasn't for the large professional buildings in the vicinity - the court house, the PUD, etc., this grocery store would fold in a week. A lot of the clientele were obviously people on their lunches picking up a sandwich or a few groceries to bring home after work. They were the ones who were wearing clothes that have been laundered. Then there were the other ones, drifting through the store like zombies on a movie set. What a complete American tragedy and shame. It's not a safe place, that's the bottom line. However, I was taking a class in the area and found myself in this neighborhood and decided to go to QFC and pick up a turkey sandwich from the Deli as QFC's have a very good deli. I wasn't disappointed. The sandwich was delicious and exactly what I ordered on my order form. The employees were quick, efficient and professional, but my God, I'll never be back. read more

I have had many years of positive shopping experiences at this and every other QFC I have ever tried...until this past week. Customer service, choices, quality of produce, deli, floral, ALL have lived up to the reputation, IMHO. Full disclosure: my spouse has been an employee of the company for many years. We have been very well treated by the company. Last week, I also noticed that same checker without a mask, but said nothing, figuring it was some kind of medical issue. (There should be some kind of badge to verify medical exemption, like a handicap parking placard, but since they don't, oh well.). The young woman has to work, I guess. Then, a couple days ago, I encountered a handful of people not observing any social distancing, unmasked. I politely asked one man where his mask was, and he said it was in the car. I said he should be in the car with his mask, and not in the store. He just glared. When I saw several others, I asked the clerk managing self-checkout about enforcement, who brushed me off and pointed to the manager heading my way. The young man on duty as manager pretty much shrugged and said he couldn't force people. They can't enforce it? Or won't enforce it? (Funny how Costco, Trader Joe's and so many others seem to.) That the store would risk their employees' and customers' lives so blatantly is truly appalling. I can handle homeless folks and addicts in the parking lot, and have never been particularly concerned outside the store. Now I am afraid to go in. read more

It's a QFC. It's expensive. The aisles are weird and cramped and short. The checkout lanes are short and strange. Like all of them. They have a huge parking lot here. My friend and I were here the end of October and she loaded up on junk food for a road trip. Sometimes when I am shopping and I need to go to the bathroom and they will not let you use the bathroom anymore. They stop letting people use there bathrooms. That means that I can't shop here anymore. I understand there problems that they have with some customers. Maybe they can have someone at the door and let the customers in and when they are done, they can check the restroom out before they let the next customer in. read more

This was the main grocery store I shopped at for the last 3.5 years while living in North Everett but I won't be back because of a horrible experience involving one of their security guards. I came in to get some groceries one evening in early February and was standing in the isle looking at the Valentines Day candy when the security guard came up to me to give me a shopping basket, I thought he was just being polite and said thank you to him. I proceeded to get some delicious Sour Patch hearts that should truly be sold all year long because they're superior to regular Sour Patch Kids and then looked at a few other things. It was very busy in the store, it was when we'd gotten all of that snow in February and everyone thought the world might end and felt like they needed a lot of milk and bread to feed off of in case the end was near so the check out lines were packed including the self check which is where I was standing when a new register opened and a man told me to go first because I only had my delicious candy to pay for. I paid, briefly talked to the checkout girl and grabbed my receipt, sticking my bag with my candy into my purse and walking out of the store. That's when it happened. I heard someone behind me yell "Hey! You don't come back here!" I turned around and saw the security guard and no one else and was confused and said "Are you talking to me?" He said "Yeah! I gave you the basket and you still decided not to use it! You're not allowed back!" I said "Excuse me? Are you suggesting that I just stole something?" And he said "You did steal! There are huge lines, you didn't go through check out!" At this point there are about 6 people around listening to this exchange and I'm getting more and more embarrassed even though I knew he was the one that was wrong. I told him "A new register opened up, here is my receipt." He dismissed it and wouldn't even look at it and said "That could be an old receipt from anytime!" I said "Do you know how to read? It has the date and time on the receipt." He continued arguing with me until finally I marched back inside and up to the check out stand I'd gone through and asked the girl "Excuse me, can you please tell this man that I just went through your checkout and paid for my item?" She told him I had paid and he said "Alright have a nice night." I said some not very nice words to him and some other people around seemed appalled that he had publicly shamed me by accusing me of stealing with no basis to make this accusation. I was especially upset that he didn't ever offer any sort of an apology after he was proved wrong and continued to accuse me after I showed him my receipt, which to any normal person is proof of purchase. Most people are also aware that receipts are date and time stamped. I feel intimidated and afraid to return to this QFC. I regret not immediately asking to speak to the manager when it happened. This man should lose his job if he can't conduct himself more professionally with the public. I will never, ever shop at this QFC again and implore other people to imagine what happened to me happening to them. I am a normal person; a college graduate, a nurse, a wife and if this happened to me it could happen to you, too. Who knows if the police could even become involved because a security guard who has some authority claims to know that you have just stolen something. It is a very scary thought that your reputation could be tarnished in front of your neighbors and peers and your freedom could even possibly be taken because of one persons poor judgement. read more

This store has really gone down hill they let the transient tweakers lounge everywhere and don't keep their store clean. Also they closed the restrooms to the public due to too many of the trash tweakers shooting up in there. Why can't management get this under control? It is so uncomfortable shopping there and it seems like none even cares. This store is really close to where I live and did my regular shopping there for years. I work in partnership with an organization that serves homeless youth. One of the staff members of that organization just tried to purchase a gift card with a company credit card. She was asked for ID, so she explained the situation. The checker called security on her, then demanded to see her ID again when she tried to pay with her own debit card. The staff member in question is a person of color. The checker's response is blatantly racist, and QFC will not get my business again. If it had been me (an old white lady) going in to purchase a gift card with a company card, they wouldn't have demanded an ID and they definitely wouldn't have called security. Horrible customer service! Not only from the pharmacy but also the customer service desk up front. Pharmacy ignored me while I stood there for 15 minutes. The bathroom is open very minimal hours and it locked with a code so you must then go to the front to get someone to unlock it. While standing at the customer service desk the woman ignored me while talking to her coworkers. When I asked for the code she rudely said "I already sent someone over there..." but then proceeds to say "I guess I can let you in..." DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

I have this weird thing where I like to make up stupid nicknames for stuff. Therefore, I pronounce QFC as "Quiff-schee". This Quiffschee is kinda middle of the pack as far as Quiffschee's go. They actually sell Kombucha at this one, a little less than competing markets, and they are the only place I have found locally that carries my very favorite flavor- Gt Synergy's Passionberry Bliss. Other Quiffschees in the area dont seem to carry the 'booch. In fact, its the only place in Everett downtown that I can get it at (haven't been to the co-op yet but i imagine they might have it.) Their donut (doughnut? dog nut?) selection is meh. They say "Top Pot" on the glass case, but they don't taste remotely fresh. Or like pot. They have a bigg(ish) deli section, which is grossly overpriced. Still, they have awesome Artichoke Jalapeno dip, which will do in a pinch, when there are no Kristin C's around to make it for me. Prices are kinda high on some stuff, considering it's a Kroger chain, and the other store (rhymes with red flyer) seems to carry more of a selection for significantly less than this store. BUT- Quiffschee does have pretty good prices on bottled Micro's, compared to another local store that rhymes with "chafe-gay". I come here a lot because my current victim lives a stone's throw from here, and we both kinda lament coming here, but we still do, because of beer and Kombucha selection and price. read more

While QFC is not my favorite grocery store, this store is closest to my place of employment so I have been shopping here for a long, long time. I'm happy that it is 24 hours, but do find the outside area can be a bit sketchy as the evening goes on. I do like that there are 2 redbox machines inside as the other ones in this part of town are outdoors and not so great to use after dark. It also has a starbucks attached which makes a trip to the grocery store much more pleasant. I have been impressed by the increasing size of the vegetarian options recently. read more

I come here a lot. Everett doesn't boast the finest grocery stores. I feel unsafe at most of them (I'm looking at you-- Broadway Safeway!) but this one is on the lower end of shady, for Everett at least. Besides being not as shady, the produce is pretty solid. I eat a lot of fruits and veggies and can't bring myself to buy them from Safeway because of the abundance of fruit flies. The staff is also very friendly (on their own they're five stars). They remember me and the bakery lady is always happy to give my beautiful daughter a cookie. Bonus points- she's always present to hand out said cookie (I'm looking at you- Safeway on 41st). The selection could be better. It's QFC so I expect a little bit of higher end stuff. This location as far as QFCs go doesn't have a great selection and does not compare to the ones I'm used to in West Seattle but it does have a nice cheese section. The selection of desserts in the bakery is lacking but it's a pretty small store. I wish they had more bottles of kombucha and a bigger yogurt selection- Safeway wins those two hands down. The parking lot gives me the heebie jeebies but they're pretty good at minimizing the loitering. Uscan is available for the mornings when no cashiers are working or when you don't feel like interacting with people. In summary, for Everett this is a good place to shop. The prices are a little high but it's more comfortable to shop in. If this location were in Seattle it would be two stars due to shady characters and lack of selection but because it's in Everett and better than most- four stars. read more

I just came out of the store and called the store to speak to the manager. Dave is the manager in charge, I reported to him that there are 2 employees that are not wearing their masks properly. I informed Dave of the area in which they are working. He didn't sound very happy with me that I reported this incident. And why on earth did they cut down all the landscaping along Broadway? Research has proven that the better landscaped, the better care people will take. I have to disclaim that I am writing this review from the point of view of someone that has Celiac Disease. I have to eat gluten free foods, as eating wheat, barley, and rye will hurt me. I use Cecelia's Marketplace Gluten-Free Grocery Shopping Guide, available on Amazon.com, to help find cool normal foods, too. With all that said, I was happy with how clean and organized this QFC is. There always seem to be an abundance of staff to answer questions. Everyone is friendly. When I can't find something, they take me to where it is. For the gluten free eater, they have all sorts of cool stuff, in abundance. They have a gluten free products throughout the store. A small selection of pasta, some quinoa (Yum!), and cookies, crackers, and whatnot. The baking section has some GF mixes. They have frozen GF waffles, and whatnot, too. For a regular old grocery store, there is a lot of GF options. It makes shopping easier than at some of the other regular grocery stores. I heartily recommend this store to anyone else that has to eat gluten free. read more

As stood in line the other day, I listened to the checker tell the bagger how stinky his gauges were. To clarify... gauges are the way that hipsters express themself (or copy others) by streching holes in their ears. Apparently his smelled. Sadly I'd rather go with stinky checker than the self check out. I'm gluten free so I'm stuck going there as a neighborhood store, however everytime I go, I spend three times the money and receive one third the service of other stores. Don't go grocery shopping early in the morning, they only have self check out available and when you are buying $200 worth of groceries it will only ruin your day. I hate stores that rely on self check out. Nick V- I am gluten free because I'm physically allergic to it, I'm not vegan. I no longer use QFC I use Everett CoOp which is much more deserving of my money. I'm not snobby just have food allergies and don't like people talking about what is a hygiene issue while ringing me in, like I didn't exist. No need to debate gauges....though I also do a lot of hiring in my professional life and gauges are a nice way to say "I don't care if I have a job". I don't usually go to QFC since their prices are higher than anyone else. That being said, If I need to just grab something real quick, this is like 5 mins from my house. Yes, some of the people that hang around here are sketchy but that is most of Broadway for ya. Safeway is 1000 times worse. Bakery has an okay selection. Deli, never ordered anything from it so I can't speak on it. Meat section is really small but get's the job done if you are looking for your standard fare. Produce section is pretty solid and you can get some good deals if they are having a sale. Never had an issue with the staff but I usually use the U scan since I am competent enough to do it with no issues. I used to shop at this location exclusively, simply due to its convenient location and being open for 24 hours, despite the higher prices and limited selection in many products. However, I will no longer be shopping here. The primary reason for this is the fact that I am constantly approached by strange people (usually men) asking for money or for me to buy things for them. As someone with PTSD, this is an awful and often triggering experience. This seemed to improve somewhat once security guards started making their presence more obvious. It still happens frequently. I appreciated that it was open 24 hours a day, which allowed to me time my shopping trips during less busy times at night. Suddenly this is no longer the case, as the store now closes at 9pm during the week. The management has managed to sabotage every reason I was willing to shop there. read more

I wish I could choose to give zero stars on here. But that is not an option or else i would have, if not given negative 5 stars. I will first start off by saying that I truly do LOVE QFC's deli sandwiches. However, the last 3 times I have gone in to get one made, there were NO customers in front of me and I still had to wait between 35 and 65 minutes to get my sandwich. I dont know if any of you have made a sandwich before, but I could make at least a dozen sandwiches in that amount of time! My main issue right now tho is this last time I went in. I decided to fill out the sandwich paper when I first got there, knowing that it could take at least 30 if not 60 minutes for the BLT and Turkey sandwiches to be made. I explained to the woman making my sandwiches that I would be paying with the WA state food stamp card so I can NOT have it be toasted or the card would not pay for it. I made sure to explain it a few times to make sure she understood and she reassured me that it would be done correctly and would not be an issue.....And then I went to do the rest of my shopping which took about 30 minutes to do my shopping. when i came back for the 2 sandwiched, I still had to wait AOTHER 40 MINUTES for my 2 sandwiches. After waiting and my terminal cancer mother was starving and needing to eat asap, I get to the cash register, ring up the sandwich and sure as heck, she had toasted both sandwiches so of course, my card would not pay for it because the food benefit cards DO NOT pay for hot food. I asked for help from the attendee and explained what happened. He was EXTREMELY RUDE! Refused to get a manager and said all he could do was to go have them remade. But my mother needed to eat NOW. So he said, and I quote "Well then there is nothing else I can do for you so you need to pay for the rest of your items and move along because there are other people waiting to use the self check out besides just you!" And then, right in front of my mother and I, HE THREW BOTH SANDWICHES STRAIGHT INTO THE GARBAGE CAN!!!! So not only did the deli worker hold us up another half hour, but i was refused to be able to speak to a manager, was treated very poorly by some 20 something year old kid with long hair and basically told to leave. I have gone to QFC my whole life but if not made right I will NEVER go there again and i will be writing this story to the media also. Lesson Learned..... I went to QFC because I had heard they had a decent selection of non dairy products. I found that they had a better selection than whole foods. That's the one star. I collected my items, caught 2 employees talking about some "shitty" employee that just lost their job... Classy. I didn't have a card so my infant daughter and I stood at customer service to get signed up. A handful of employees walked right by me without saying a word... Even what appeared to be a manager(different shirt than the other employees) walked by and didn't say anything. I couldn't stand there all day waiting to be acknowledged so I left. Was very nice to have a place on the West Coast to use my Krogers card! It had a nice, familiar, feeling to it, but was even better than the Krogers I'm used to in Columbus.
