I guess I came on a bad night because I received some of the worst customer service ever. Qdoba sent an email saying that Queso Diablo is being discontinued(as of 10/17) so I stopped at this location to get some with my burrito bowl. Unfortunately, this location didn't have it and when I asked the young lady about it she seemed agitated. I settled for regular queso but she was being stingy so I asked for more. This seemed to agitate her as well. Then I asked for a little amount of pico de gallo, and I was given a lot. Then when I say something she says "You said you wanted tomato." At this point I was two seconds from leaving but my boyfriend resolved the problem and switched our bowls. I'm a regular at the Owings Mills Qdoba and I wish I would've just went to that one. From the time we walked in I could just tell it wasn't inviting. I'll never return to this location again. read more

I don't usually opt for Qdoba when I'm on my own, but when I'm with family, the nachos are a good choice for sharing. This Qdoba location, in a Towson strip mall / shopping area, seems fairly decent and comfortable. The food line isn't very fast but that is to be expected for this ordering setup where they let you pick which toppings you want. I do appreciate that guacamole is no longer extra cost at Qdoba so there are no gotchas. Also, the fellow at the order counter had a great idea about putting the nacho cheese and toppings on the side so the chips can stay crunchy. read more

The past three times I have come to this location the service has been awful. The food was prepared poorly and the taste really showed.

My family goes to this Qdoba once or twice a month. The food is always fresh and tasty. We usually get burritos and chicken quesadillas. Also the chips and quesos. My complaint might be that the air conditioning is so powerful that it is often cold inside. I always use the qboba rewards app. Qdoba, to me, is more flavorful than Chipotle. read more

This review is about the plant based options. I really liked being able to have that plant based ground meat and it was excellent in the taco's. Even my daughter had it in her food and she is not vegetarian. The flavor was (IMHO - though it's been many years since I had beef) as good as regular beef and it was nicely spiced without being too salty or heavy. The other fixin's were pretty much the same as always - I like hot sauce that is hotter and a bit more flavorful (this has been true for me with this chain for years) but if you want an option that is not the other (Starts with "C") this is a good change of pace. We were greeted fine, served quickly, and the place was fairly clean. It did have those floors that always feel like someone didn't get the oil/fat/lard clean off them. Slightly slippery. Same with the smell. It could use a good deep clean to clear that smell out and remove the film on the floor. read more

Went there for dinner on a Sunday 730. Place was a mess, didn't have anything stocked or cooked. Asked for a taco salad with shell, was told there weren't making any.. ok. Went to get a burrito, asked about price.. line worker gave me an apathetic "I dunno" with his boxers half out his uniform.. ok thanks. Rice, beans, meats, more than half empty, with rice and beans all over the place. Got the last of the brown rice and a scoop of beans and chicken... no peppers.. asked how long for peppers and they said they weren't making them anymore.. ok. Worker then noticing the manager just putting it on stove, 10 mins I'm told, asked if I wanted to wait.. Ok.. not waiting for peppers while my burrito is getting colder on the table top. I ask for queso on my burrito and they go to put the spicy queso on with two completely empty regular queso containers racked up and I ask if they have the original working.. the worker tells me that they called for it and it's been 20 mins.. the manager then just jumped in and says it's going to be another 12-15 mins.. I had to leave. Terrible customer service, unclean, unprepared and not working towards stocking. Management and team should've been proactive or at least should've offered something besides a half hearted apology. Honestly, I love qdoba. I will never go to chipotle bc the food is far superior at qdoba.. but I will never return to this Towson location. read more

Sour cream squirt out of a plastic ketchup bottle isn't what you want to see while watching someone prepare your food. In fact, I see little benefit to standing in line watching anyone make my food! Actually, the difference between Chipotle and Qdoba is that Chipotle trains their workers a bit better so the whole food package, presentation and taste is better. I have gone to Qdoba twice in two different cities and the same problems have occurred. Yeah, Qdobe has more different salsas but when you're burrito is falling apart due to not building it correctly and somehow the flavor combination is not quite as good - then even 100 different salsas is not going to save it. Chipotle's rice mix is superior to Qdoba. Look they are both chains, so both probably underpay their employees, go to a locally-owned place - but if you have to choose - I would go with Chipotle. read more

I absolutely LOVE Qdoba.... This location especially. I like to order my food online and pick it up, and they always have my food ready exactly when they say it will be. Today I decided to get a salad, and it was probably the BEST salad I have ever had....Maybe I was really hungry or... It was just that good! Seriously! Very filling plus the guacamole comes with your meal, unlike Chipotle who charges 2 dollars and change for a scoop.. Their food has more flavor to me too, to be honest. Plus it costs less. While the food taste good, you will pay a whole lot for what little you get. I picked up dinner for my boyfriend and I here the other night. We got 2 burritos and a chip n cheese dip - total cost, 21 dollars. For 21 dollars I could have gone to a sit down burrito restaurant and had much better quality. Also it erks me that Qudoba does not offer re-fried beans.. Lower the prices and add re-fried beans and I may be back. Until then Baja Fresh or Chipotle are much better options. read more

Best burritos ever. the steak Queso burrito has become my favorite. i hate going anywhere else for burritos now. Chips and queso are also top notch here. Friendly staff and very clean restaurant. Some of the best fountain Coke ive had. Being a fat guy i eat at a lot of places yet im never disappointed. I find myself eating at this Qdoba at least 2 times in the 3 days im in Towson. read more

Yikes, this store has really gone downhill. The customer service is awful and the employees are very unsanitary. They never change their gloves even when they go in the back to get new containers of food or if their gloves are dirty. The cashier was very unprofessional and was on a personal phone call while ringing up customers. What a mess! read more

I'm conflicted writing this. On one hand, you can tell this location is really trying to step it up in the customer service dept, and they have done a good job doing so... on the other hand, you've got half of the team members who care, and half who don't - or don't seem to care I should say. One of the employees had his ass hanging out of jeans the last time I was there; he was sagging... And while I admit he was nice, it was just super off-putting and made me not wanna go back there. This is my "go to" location anytime I have a hunger for Mexican. I usually get either the Burrito Bowl or the Taco Salad. They introduced some new taco selections with a variety of ingredients--I sometimes get the "Drunken Yardbird" as a side item. You can also get taco's made to order. The staff is very quick, but personable. They take their time with your order and its fun to watch as they put everything. I highly recommend getting their Qdoba Rewards, especially if you are a frequent customer. (I have received free entrees a number of times after my points built up.) Overall I really enjoy coming to this location and will continue to do so in the future! read more

This place is either a hit or miss with me. I went early today because I wanted fresh food. The food was surprisingly seasoned well and actually had flavor. The chips were just ok as only some were salted and others tasted like hot paper. I was disappointed by the service. This store opened at 11:00 and I was there so early that I was one of the only customers there. Actually, there wasn't anyone behind me. The lady making my food rushed the hell out of me. Wow! Very dissapointed. Ordered CATERING for my sales team and was brought HALF the food that was brought to us last year. I understand paring down portions in this economy but HALF?!! Corey, the GM tried to help but the District Manager, Paul Egharevba wouldn't allow it. Several phone calls with Corey stopped returning my calls and DM couldn't bother to answer. The food is undoubtedly great! This particular store has inefficient and non proficient staff members. The soda lids are always in need of re-stocking and it's a hassle and inconvenient to ask someone every time for a lid. There could be five staff members working and only one person making the orders while the others do nonproductive things like clean or stand around while they could help move along the line. It's frustrating and this process needs aomeone to come out and evaluate the staff they are hiring because all I've seen and experienced is laziness and I am a regular customer. Something needs to be fixed! Either new management or new training for the staff because it is beyond unacceptable! read more

I love eating at Qdoba Mexican Grill. They always give you a generous portion at reasonable price. The food is so delicious ever time I go. I usually have Taco Salad. The staff are kind enough to work with my dietary restrictions. The staff makes the salad just way I request it. I also enjoy the free wifi. Can I give this no stars? One is being a little generous. Rude and unpleasant staff, subpar food. I had a horrible experience at this place. I asked for a vegetarian Ancho BBQ burrito. I thought maybe they'd ask me what kind of vegetables I wanted, since they have several types, but the girl just plopped some sauteed squash on it and moved it down the line. So I said if I could get some fajita veggies. "That's EXTRA" she all but sneered at me. Um... really? But it's a vegetarian burrito- why can't I have vegetables on it? "You already GOT vegetables, so it's EXTRA" she said. But they're just vegetables... I get charging extra for extra meat, or guacamole or something (like Chipotle does)... but I can't have more than one type of vegetable without paying more than I'd pay for a burrito with meat? Makes no sense. They have a Fajita burrito on the menu that comes with the fajita veggies... I guess I should have just ordered that, but vegetarian (so squash instead of meat) and had them put the BBQ sauce on it... same damn burrito, but that one would cost less? For some reason? She also assembled it in a bowl for some reason, and when I got to the register and I pointed it out, the guy seemed puzzled and said "oh, you wanted it in a tortilla?" as if that was a strange thing to ask for... um, isn't that what a burrito IS? I understand that they offer them without, but do I seriously have to ASK to get my burrito wrapped in a tortilla? The burrito I ended up with was pretty nasty- gluey, bland rice, too-sweet sauce, a handful of lackluster squash chunks, and some salsa and cheese that I couldn't taste. Not sure the fajita veggies would have improved it much, but I wasn't expecting excellent food- just trying to get something different than Chipotle. I shouldn't have bothered. Yes they're a chain and just a couple steps up from fast food, but Chipotle does the whole fast-casual fresh-ish mexican thing quite well.
