This is the 3rd. time in a row that my on line order was completely and totally filled in error!!! Two burritos ordered, one with chicken, cilantro white rice, black beans, faita veggies, cueso, cilantro, romain lettuce, and chicpolte sauce. It was filled with NO veggies, NO cueso, NO cilantro. Workers were very disrespectful and rude throughout my entire order and after I got my food they continued to be loud and make inappropriate remarks while my kids were present. I mobile order 3 hard shell tacos for counter pickup. Checked my order and I received 3 soft shell tacos. Looked at my ticket to see if I made the mistake but it was printed out corn hard shell tacos. I have been trying to eat less gluten in my diet so I brought the order to the cashier and showed them the issue. The cashier stated that they didn't have hard shell so they made them soft shell. I asked if I could replace this order with a burrito bowl or nachos and the cashier said they could not do that. I asked for a refund and the cashier said no refunds for online orders. First off, I'd like to make a point of saying the food is NOT the problem. It's violently obvious what ever management is in control here can't keep their staff. They aren't paying them enough and that much is obvious. Every time I come in here, maybe 3-4 weeks, there's new staff. Complete turn over. Absolutely horrible! After waiting for over 8 minutes for the women in front of me order the kid making the food started on doing on line orders. I never leave reviews especially at Qdoba of all places. But I wanted to recognize Basil. He was a new employee that I had not previously seen. This store has given me nothing but terrible service until today. Basil was not only very helpful, fast, and understanding but he made our food SO WELL. Where to start. They ran out of brown rice and two customers ahead of us insisted on having it. This held up to line for several minutes before they decided to start making other customers orders. I asked for light rice and got two heaping spines full. The. The veggies. I got all they had and it was not a full serving. Three workers working the line and at least one working the grill and in back. There was no ice in the ice machine. Ok by me but the wife like ice. Then there was the table issue. One occupied table when we walked in. They left and a group just ahead of us sat down. All 5 outside tables filthy and every table inside also filthy. NOT A SINGLE CLEAN table to sit at. We sipped off the easiest table. Only two or three other customers behind us in the 15-20 minutes we ate here. The crew never came out to wipe any tables. I guess it's a closing thing. I think I'm done with this chain. Always and I mean always out of 1 or 2 items and hardly ever a clean place. The QDoba on Westnedge is often busy but they always move through the line really efficiently. I got the three cheese nachos with steak last night and the steak was really nicely cooked and the pico was really bright and fresh. No pink tomatoes to be found! I tend to choose my protein based on what looks fresh or full and that always ends up working out! Their nachos are always a hit with me. I also love that they have a Coke Freestyle machine so you can mix your own beverage. They even have it touchless so you can scan a QR Code and choose what pop you want on your phone and then it dispenses. What year are we living in?! Absolutely filthy! I have eaten at QDOBAs before and they were okay, with service very good and average food. Latest experience left me not wanting to go back ever again. I never rate on yelp but this experience truly upset me. All of the different food containers were blending together, with the server not caring where his spoon fell as it fell in different bins all of the time. Not friendly or helpful service at all, with just a "I do not want to work here" look on his face and not caring for what he put together or the quality of the food being put together. The seating areas were filthy as well, just to complete my not so wonderful experience If I was the owner and walked in, I would have closed down for the day, made all of the workers clean up the place (as they were not doing) and then fired all of them for the food and experience they are giving to their customers. read more

I love their bowl options. I always crave their rice, the zesty taste is simply amazing. I was told they add sugar to their beans, so I don't add those to my bowl anymore. Having enjoyed a yummy catered lunch by Qdoba just the past week from a location in Wisconsin, I was thrilled to have spotted a Qdoba when I was just passing by to get to the gas station. After filling up, I zipped back to this one to grab lunch, but unfortunately not all Qdoba's are created equal. Came by on a Monday afternoon to have a late lunch and let's say this one is probably not the most efficient Qdoba there is. Only 2 ladies in front of me and somehow I felt like the line wasn't moving as fast as it should be with the number of employees behind the counter. When came time for me to order, I'll say that the food definitely did not look fresh at all and was rather unappetizing to just look at. I ended up with a burrito bowl with random things I picked out. This one is essentially Chipotle style where you pick just about whatever you like in your bowl from meats, to rice and beans, veggies, sauces, salsas, cheeses, etc. I opted for some of their melted cheese but instantly regret asking for it after watching the associate having difficulty getting the cheese out of the serving spoon. Cheese had definitely been sitting around and was in that weird "I'm still warm but I'm plastic at this point" phase. Definitely wish I didn't get it. After picking all the things I wanted and paying, when I went to go find a seat majority of the tables were filthy. It was like playing detective trying to figure out where was even remotely clean enough to sit. Anyways, finished my meal and luckily didn't feel or get sick. I usually love Qdoba- eaten at Qdobas in Denver, DC, Florida and now Michigan. This location in Portage is so gross I can't go in there anymore. I've been there about a dozen times over the past three years and each time I regret it. The floors are filthy. The tables are gross. Even the food area is dirty. The staff seem miserable and are not friendly. I wish their headquarters would visit this location and give it some help. Meanwhile I go to the new Qdoba up in Kzoo off Stadium- that location is great. Funky new decor. Helpful staff. read more

Working on a Job and took a break for a quick dinner at 8:00 pm. That's not how it turned out though. We walked into the building and there a was a couple of people in front of us. No big deal. Then the debacle started. Online orders were coming in and everything stopped. The line was to the door before people in the store started to be served. I think that the manager was making food because I overheard him say that they had two employees call out. We didn't get out of there until 9:00 pm. I realize that the world is changing and online business is here to stay. However, I object to being electronically line jumped by people that don't want to wait in line like the poor slobs that showed up in person for their food. Next time I'll walk out when this happens. I usually love Qdoba, but after the last few visits to this location, I have very little desire to return. The food is always pretty good, but for the last few months, upon entering this establishment, I feel as if I'm bothering every single person working there. The employees literally look like their souls have died. No eye contact, not a single smile, no "hi", "bye", "thank you"...NOTHING! Even my children notice it! And don't even get me started on how dirty this place is! Not sure what's going on there, but either the employees need to find a more fitting line of work (in a cubicle, where they have no interaction with the general public?) or Qdoba needs to find a way to get their employees excited about their jobs again. In the meantime, our family will be going to Chipotle - where we are me with great, friendly, fast service and a clean establishment! The food is also much better! :) read more

Absolutely filthy both behind the counter and in the front of the store. Went in at 7:45pm on a Saturday and they were out of most of their meat options. They were using a scale to measure their portions out and gave me the SMALLEST amount of rice I have ever seen. I've had sushi rolls with more rice on them. Is this standard practice at all qdoba's to use a scale for portions? If I'm plunking down $10 for a burrito, I expect it to be at least comparable to what I'd get at chipotle or hot head. This seems like the owner is trying to cut down on costs, but cracking down on extra rice and beans is not going to keep your doors open when your store looks a mess and your options are limited during prime dinner hours on a weekend. read more

By far the worst Qdobas I have been to. It was filthy, the staff was impolite, my quesadilla was just a bowl of half melted cheese and I asked for a side of sour cream and they never got it to me. The worker at the cash register was just on their phone the whole time, not even assisting their co-workers. There was food on the floor, could not find a clean table, trash overflowing. The whole time I was eating, not one employee was wiping tables or emptying the garbage.
