After a day of travel, Two Fellas Grill was exactly the comfort we needed. Comfort food in MI at its finest. Their burritos are huge and packed with the most soul-soothing combinations. I got The First Burrito On The Menu and it was everything I love in one bite. Ranch, chicken, sour cream, cheese, tots. A creamy burrito is so much more appealing to me with my dietary restrictions to spice, and this didn't feel like I was missing out at all. We also tried The Bronco. Chicken tenders, bacon, mozzarella, tater tots, and BBQ on the best crispy tortilla. The sizes? Split one if you're not super hungry. And okay, ranch lovers, listen... their ranch is next level. Food tasted good. I had a Caesar salad with chicken. My meal was delivered quickly. There is little to no attempt at creating ambiance. Some tables had food on them and the chairs are uncomfortable. Would I go back? Maybe if I was in Portage and needed a quick meal. read more

I had really high hopes about this place. I thought I was going to be blown away with an outstanding wrap and go back time and time again. Personally, I have no desire to return. The establishment was filthy. The floors needed swept and mopped, the trashes were full, the tables were dirty and the building itself on the inside was just dirty and could use a cleaning and fresh coat of paint. The bathrooms were just as bad in my opinion. The staff also was not friendly. They seemed like college students who had just been told my their parents to GO TO WORK! They weren't happy to take our order, didn't want to answer questions and were ready to get us away from the counter I felt like. We all felt like the tortillas were stale. Maybe they were just grilled too long. I'm not entirely sure. I just know that it was dried out, crumbly and we tore the ends off of it and eventually left the tortilla for the garbage and ate the filling. My mother in law ordered a chicken cordon blue and thought it was going to be much different than it was. It was sliced ham that was diced, not chunks of ham. I had the Sweet Heat which was ok. It was over sauced and could've had more bacon and chicken. The one good thing was that the large order of tator tots was more like a monster order of tots. It was HUGE! There was enough for 5 people and we had a few leftover. No complaints there. I just noticed they're opening another location on Gull Road. MAYBE I'll give that location a try and maybe it will be better and change my mind. read more

Who the hell gets drunk in Kzoo on a Wednesday night? This guy that's who. So we're rolling around town about 12:30-1am. There's literally like two places on Yelp that's open, this place that looks like a copy cat Menna's, and some Chinese place. Half the car is saying we get dubs. Half the car is saying we get Chinese. Driver maps us to this place. We roll up and GUESS WHAT? Both these places right next to each other lol. Anyways. Everyone opted to try this place out. Menu is simple and straight forward. So we place our order and the food comes out fast, like super fast. With only one guy cooking. One man on the register, AND another employee just sitting there doing who knows what. (We decided that he must be related to the ownership. Just because of the lack of shit he was doing.) I got a bronco wrap with tater tots and a drink for like $10 and some change. This thing is HUGE. Delicious. Hit the spot. However it was heavy on the bbq. Tried my boys cheesesteak. This review is more about the establishment as a whole opposed to their food. I walked in after work to order a wrap and proceeded to use the restroom. When I say their restroom was beyond disgusting, that is an understatement! To top it off, there was no soap what's so ever in the mens room! When I brought this to the attention of the staff, the cashier said they where out! What the heck!? Have their cooks been washing their hands then?? Please get your act together. A real local gem. The food is great and well priced. Employees and friendly and helpful.

All around solid choice to get some grub. They could definitely up the quality to some degree. I understand it's primarily for college students, but it's worth noting. Always convenient right when you need it. The honey badger is my go-to favorite. Mac bites & a side of tots are clutch anyday. Great place, but I miss the old location. It doesn't feel the same. The place is usually clean, and the people are usually friendly. This place caters to the drunk college crowd, being directly off campus and having such late hours. I prefer to order my food to go or by the drive thru, since the inside of the restaurant don't offer much, however there is plenty of seating and a few TV's. Prices are fair and staff is always friendly. My favorites from Two Fellas include The First Thing on the Menu, The Arbuckle and of course the tator tots! For an established and well respected food critic like myself, this restaurant left me with mixed feelings. I ordered the Bronco and it was mediocre. I could not help but notice a larger young man approaching me from the rear. He proceeded to tell me his name was Chris wheeler and he tried to interview me. However, for an established figure like myself I do not give fans my insight for free. The atmosphere was interesting in this establishment, there were too many drunk people surrounding me. Two Fellas Grill is the best food spot in Kalamazoo (hands down!). It is situated right outside of Western Michigan University, right next to Campus Wok, and across the street from CVS. I ordered The Rich (pictured), which is pretty much a Philly Cheesesteak with Ranch. It is amazing! This grilled wrap comes with swiss cheese, mushrooms, onions, and tatertots on the inside as well. This review is more about complaint than a review. The food was ordered at 9pm on Wednesday night. We were told that the waiting time would be 45 to an hour for delivery. We had faith in them and waited for an hour before we called them to confirm our order. We were told that their delivery guy went out 20 minutes ago so we should be getting our food soon. 2 hours later....no delivery for our food as I am writing this review. We had too much faith in them. They FAILED us deeply. No communication what so ever! It's truly DISSATISFIED and DISAPPOINTING. read more

My Husband & I were looking to try something new and looking at the reviews we decided to give this place a try. Despite our food being lukewarm when it arrived, looks wise, it met our visual expectations. To give credit where credit is due, the tater tots were on point. A little ketchup & salt...bowh! DELICIOUS!! Now the Mac & Cheese bites weren't horrible. And honestly if it hadn't of been for the old oil taste, from an optimistic viewpoint, they had potential to be yummy. Trying to find a starting point to begin to describe the wraps. Okay, let's go back to the reviews...to take ownership of the experience...we should have taken in mind that 90% of the reviews were written by college students or individuals who'd been drinking. They were disgusting! One side of my wrap had burnt chicken tenders in it and the other side had inedibly soggy chicken tenders and basically was a combination of unidentifiable soggy components. It was hard to believe that the two sides of my Roofs A' Blazin wrap were once connected as one. Now my Husband on the other end who isn't the pickiest of eaters like I am, said my scraps were better than his Arbuckle catastrophe of a wrap. Needless to say, we won't be returning. Grilled chicken, tater tots, sour cream, ranch, and cheddar melded together in a toasted and wrapped fantasy. Also: I got a side of tots. My gawd. Crispy and a very hefty and amazing portion. Im not sure why I decided to stop here. Maybe because it was the closets fast food place close to home that didn't involve burgers. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak wrap and the mozzarella sticks. Service was pretty fast. Got my food in less than 10 mins. I went through the drive through by the way. So not sure what the ambiance is inside. Anyways as soon as I got my food my car immediately started to smell like really old cooking grease. I go ahead and take the box of mozzarella sticks out, open it up and found the smell. Anyways I decided to give one a try anyways, and had to immediately pull the car over to spit it out. Couldn't even taste the cheese. Just pure grease. Oh and just so it's out there I spent, $21.14. For one wrap and 8 mozzarella sticks. When I got home o rinsed my mouth out and decided to give the wrap a try. I've come this far so why not, right? The wrap was no that big, maybe 6inches and the filling was very minimal. My first bite was pure tortilla. I give it a second bite and something just tasted a bit off. The meat was extremely dry and the cheese tasted weird. I proceed to take a few more bites giving it the benefit of the doubt. And finally decided I just couldn't anymore. Go back and rinse my mouth out, got back to work and about 20 mins later I started having intense stomach pains. Anyways quick wrap up I got food poisoning. Don't go here. Had the best customer service experience in a long time this weekend! Wanted to introduce some friends to Two Fellas, which we just recently fell in love with and tried to pull them up on DoorDash, but it showed they were closed. So I messaged them on Facebook. I got a reply back right away from one of the owners and he explained they had just moved to a new location and shut down their DoorDash delivery temporarily while they got everything working smoothly. Then he messaged me back a few minutes later and said they were a little slow if I wanted to make an order he and his business partner would deliver it to us themselves! I was just shocked. So a little while later we had a delivery from both, very nice owners that was hot, fresh and delicious! I definitely would recommend everyone checking them out! read more

My niece (the UM grad student) and I were excitably chatting about attending the first UM game in a few weeks, and I was lamenting that often when I drove home to Kalamazoo after some sports or arts activity in Ann Arbor or Detroit on a late Saturday night/early Sunday morning there was nowhere to eat late nite in town. I told her that I disliked going into casinos just to eat and all night MacDonald's are just too horrible. And she said, "Hey, have you gone to Two Fellas Grill?" So I did. It's a no lose proposition for a restaurant: Identify 15 ingredients that are inexpensive to obtain and easy to prepare. Generate a couple dozen combinations of six or seven of these 15 ingredients for a menu. Prepare these ingredients in a single manner (wraps) so that preparing them takes little culinary skill. Give them amusing names. Don't rely too much on seasoning and taste. Focus on bulk, inoffensive blandness, accessibility, and affordability. Find a location near a university. Try for 95% of the business to be take out or delivery, and don't discourage eating in but make it difficult or uncomfortable. And there you are. I just wish a place like this had been around when I needed it in the late 70's/early 80's when I was in college. When my friends and I were up 'til 2 and the bars closed - anyone remember the Giraffe at the Kalamazoo Center? - and we needed to eat something and it needed to be fast and it needed to be substantial. As it was, I recall Denny's was our only option back then. I would have been in Two Fellas Grill several times a week if it existed. But I'm not that person anymore, and food like this, while it serves a purpose, particularly late nite, just doesn't do it for me now when I'm hungry. Wraps filled with chicken and tater tots is food defined only by the depth of its blandness. Otherwise, the staff was pleasant and efficient. The food arrived quickly and hot. There were two round tables and four chairs for seating. The decor was white with black accents. There were no unusual or funky smells that often linger around some restaurants. I see prices have jumped 50 cents (you can find old photos in this site someone took of the menu board). I would say, "If you must have a wrap and size and cost trumps flavor, then come here. Take it home. Season it yourself. And skip the abysmally small brownies." I think this place does a better job than the crazily inconsistent Menna's Joint on Stadium Drive. read more

Had a really good wrap here. The staff is great, very helpful. The wrap itself was huge. Almost too much food. I tried the Southwest Chicken wrap with jalapeños and pepper jack cheese.
