They have extremely small portion sizes. This isn't exaggeration. There are better choices here if you are hungry.

I love Qdoba! Sometimes it gets busy (especially between classes), but it is worth it!

Heard we had to try Ajax, the diner, not the soap. We stopped in for lunch before heading to Nashville airport to come home. The diner is about what you'd expect inside. Old, kitschy and full of decor. We sat in a booth an were greeted by a waitress promptly for drink orders. Cokes and waters. They deliver the coke in a neat Ajax cup. I ordered the chicken fried steak. Wife ordered the chicken and dumplings and step son ordered catfish. Everything arrived very quickly and everything was hot and southern deliciousness, except the corn bread. The corn bread was dry and not very good at all. Pretty sure it was yesterday's leftover bread or someone needs to pull it 5 minutes sooner from the oven. Unanimous at the table, Everton e had garb corn bread. No big deal. The chicken fried steak was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Gravy was great and the red beans and rice side was awesome. All great flavors. Wife loved the chicken and dumplings, good flavor and tender chicken. She got a side of sweet potato casserole and loved it. I had a bite and it was delicious for certain. Step son had the fried catfish, he is not a big seafood eater but he absolutely loves the catfish. I had a big piece and it was cooked perfectly and tasted great as well. The staff was outstanding, the service was great and the food was excellent sans the cornbread. Ajax is a neat little diner in the heart of Oxford. It's a little pricey as is everything in this college town, but it was worth the visit.

Went to the drive thru today around lunch. Before I said a word to the lady (I think) comes over…read morethe speaker and says "I can't hear you, your truck is too loud". I haven't said anything so I apologize and attempt to tell her that my truck isn't loud and I haven't anything. " I SAID YOUR TRUCK IS TOO LOUD, EITHER TURN IT OFF OR GO SOMEWHERE ELSE". So I turned my truck off and attempt to place an order and she comes back on yelling again that my truck is too loud. It was turned off! I drive a basic ford F150. Stock. No modification, and no one with me. No background noise. (I have worked drive thru before and know that some vehicles are loud through the headsets, but never loud enough to warrant this. ) I raised my voice to tell her this and she got even louder telling me to turn my truck off or leave. Since when is this acceptable to not even let your potential customers speak before yelling at them for no reason. I don't know if she has had a bad day or what but screaming and yelling over the intercom is not the way to make customers happy. I was compliant with her requests. I don't know what she was hearing but she needs lessons on customer service if you are going to work the drive thru. There is no sense in screaming and telling someone to leave for not turning the truck off. Even after I turned the truck off she continued to yell. I'm not saying I won't be back, but it will be a while before i do come back. Someone needs to look into this.
