all i can say is cheap and great service. they have amazing deals at this place, lots of fun food choices. very good Cajun fries, and fun milkshake options. it was good and fast service. nothing special but it is a fun themed fast food restaurant. i got my 3 finger tray with 2 sides and a drink for 7.69 $. super cheap.

This new fast food restaurant recently opened on W Jackson and I visited it twice last week while in town. First visit was for a fast vanilla milkshake for $2.79. It was excellent (5). A lot of milkshake for a fair price. They have over 40 varieties available. My second visit a couple of days later was to eat a meal. I ordered the regular hamburger with two sides of fries and cole slaw with a drink for $5.55 with tax. A heckuva deal! The food came out about 5 minutes later. The burger patty was about a 1/3lb. and the burger was very good. A solid burger, I gave it a 3.5. The fries were frozen out of bag type but ok so I gave them a 3. The other side of cole slaw was light and refreshing and I gave it a 3.5. Counter service was fast and friendly. The interior decor is Ole Miss themed. This place will be a hit. The food is good and prices low. It represents a lot of value. Not too many combo's are offered with two sides at a $4.99 price before tax. The menu also offers chicken sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, chicken wraps and chicken strips.

It's my 'cheat day' so what better way to take advantage of this opportunity to over indulge than to have Cook Out. I ordered the barbecue plate. The "Boujee" in my made me replace my meal and crunch on my hush puppies. The food was hot, greasy and salty. Just what I needed!! I celebrated my 'cheat day' with approximately 6 crisp hush puppies, a pound of chopped barbecue, creamy cold slaw and a cup of medium cut fries.

Delicious meal at a perfect price point. Loved the Cajun chicken wrap and friendly service. It was great to discover this chain restaurant- too bad we don't have them in the Midwest!

Heard we had to try Ajax, the diner, not the soap. We stopped in for lunch before heading to Nashville airport to come home. The diner is about what you'd expect inside. Old, kitschy and full of decor. We sat in a booth an were greeted by a waitress promptly for drink orders. Cokes and waters. They deliver the coke in a neat Ajax cup. I ordered the chicken fried steak. Wife ordered the chicken and dumplings and step son ordered catfish. Everything arrived very quickly and everything was hot and southern deliciousness, except the corn bread. The corn bread was dry and not very good at all. Pretty sure it was yesterday's leftover bread or someone needs to pull it 5 minutes sooner from the oven. Unanimous at the table, Everton e had garb corn bread. No big deal. The chicken fried steak was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Gravy was great and the red beans and rice side was awesome. All great flavors. Wife loved the chicken and dumplings, good flavor and tender chicken. She got a side of sweet potato casserole and loved it. I had a bite and it was delicious for certain. Step son had the fried catfish, he is not a big seafood eater but he absolutely loves the catfish. I had a big piece and it was cooked perfectly and tasted great as well. The staff was outstanding, the service was great and the food was excellent sans the cornbread. Ajax is a neat little diner in the heart of Oxford. It's a little pricey as is everything in this college town, but it was worth the visit.

She said she'd bring me water and got backed up. I ended up refilling my water at the bar. This is a long review but it has a happy ending, I promise. Her name was Julie. I sat at the Duce next to the window right by the bar. Julie told Me she saw me get my own water. She said she was going to take care of my bill. Surprised that my feedback resulted in this level of recover I asked if the restaurant is taking care of my check or if she was. She said the manager offered a small discount on the salad but she was sorry I had this kind of experience and wanted to make sure I Came back and gave them another chance. She said this was her passion and wants to make sure her guests are taken care of. I insisted I pay and explained I was there on business so I wasn't paying for it myself. After several time trying, I just said "thank you and I wished everyone cared as much." That was by far the most sincere service recovery I ever encountered and it was at the cost of the associate. Manager never game to the table. I don't recall seeing anyone that fit that description either. This is a mid to upper tier price point "nice" establishment so expectations should reflect that. Julie owned it and took one for the team. I felt horrible she felt she needed to do that. I hope she doesn't do this often. Experience not so good but I experienced worse. Food was okay to good. Julie was outstanding. I don't carry cash but I gave her everything I had. The only response I need to hear that would make me change my mind is if Julie was refunded for my check. Super friendly service, a cool laid-back, almost divey vibe, Elvis pictures on the walls, and quite possibly the best freaking burger I've ever had. When we walked in, my kid looked around and told me there was absolutely no chance she would have ever picked a place like this on her own, but that it was clearly perfect for me. Fair. Then she ate the burger. By the time we finished, she was just as thrilled as I was and informed me, "This is why I keep you around." High praise from a daughter. Started out with a coors light and bbq chicken nachos. The entree was bbq chicken and bacon sandwich with fries. The nachos were delicious. Sweet bbq sauce, good chunks of chicken and the chips were light and airy. The cheese sauce was legit and full of flavor as well. A 10/10 for the nachos. The sandwich was good, as were the fries. Plenty of meat and the fries were hot, just how I like them. The service was good, nobody actually waits on you, you order at a counter and they bring you your food. That's it.
