Ordered online, just a bowl and a single taco with extra quac and a side of hot salsa. Picked it up and went home which is a five minute drive. The bowl and taco were cold, not luke warm, cold. I microwaved the bowl and started eating. There was zero flavor. I started digging in thinking the guacamole had to at least be good. Nope, not only was it flavorless I found a huge hunk of avocado, not mashed, just a hunk of it. Which describes why there's no flavor. Monument needs a chipotle. I'm not going back here. read more

I'm the past, we have frequented this Qdobas location, but recently it has gone down hill. I came in Friday, December 5th at 6pm. I ordered 2 bowls with brown rice. I was told that I was going to have to wait 40 or more minutes for brown rice. I asked why and I was told that they ran out and weren't going to make more. Again this is at 6pm, the middle of the dinner rush. One of the bowls was a vegetarian. When I got it home my wife had multiple pieces of meat in the black beans. Between the cross contamination and not having a full menu during the dinner rush, I highly recommend going to any place else until their management improves their quality and they have a full menu during the dinner rush. read more

I've been here more than once, and every time I come in, every employee looks like they'd rather die than make a burrito. It seems rather hostile. "How dare you come in and ask me to do my job" kind of message. I went in with my little brother the other day and we got a burrito and a bowl, and the food was cold, the guy doing the toppings was just grabbing them with the tips of his fingers. Terrible service. Staff looks absolutely misserable and like they would rather die than serve you. My family and I received coupons for free entrees after a catering event we did through qdoba and they refused service to us. I wanted to eat something fairly healthy, so I decided to try this Qdoba location. I haven't eaten at a Qdoba quite a while so I decided to explore the menu. I ordered a bowl with brisket, it was pretty flavorful but a little salty. I also I did the Cauliflower mash to my bowl. My bowl was good but it was a bit overpriced in my opinion. We've just recently moved to Monument, and we are enjoying exploring all the restaurants in the area. We've never heard of this QDOBA place before, although I guess it is a chain. We went in today at about 2 o'clock, and it was quiet with a pleasant atmosphere. I ordered a steak burrito and the guy dumped the contents into the tortilla like he was shoveling trash. Very haphazard and little steak was given. My wife ordered a bowl with pork, and since we only drink water, the total was a little over $25. Well, I was famished, so I ate my burrito even though it was cold. There was not even a hint of warmth. It was not even room temperature, it was like it came directly from a refrigerator. And it was really a small burrito considering it cost about $12. I then started to nibble on my wife's bowl, and I was astounded to discover that it likewise was cold. Not a hint of warmth. I went back up to the counter and nicely asked the girl if they could throw it in the microwave for a minute. She very proudly proclaimed that they did not have microwaves, as if that is somehow a violation of higher standards of cuisine. I told her that the food we had ordered was cold, not a hint of warmth. She pointed over at the food steamers as if that was proof that it was hot food, but I noted there was not a trace of steam, or any other indicator of heat. She did not offer a replacement or a refund. If the food had been hot, it would've been just OK. Since it wasn't, it was a waste of money. Will I go here again? Not in the near future. read more

Website is down. Tried calling twice to call in an order for a family member to run in and pick up on their way home from work. First time phone was picked up and no one answered. Second time someone answered. "Website is down and we have no control over it and we don't take orders over the phone"... didn't apologize or offer another solution. They have got my order wrong nearly every time I go there. They will not chop the cilantro up so you get giant chunks of it. I'll order online and arrive to see the employees standing around juggling one customer at my pickup time. I have had to leave without my food due to it not being ready at the time it was supposed to be done. I waited almost 20 min after my estimated time and eventually spoke with the manager and told him I could not wait anymore to give me a refund. The manager does always seem to be nice. I think the issue is, the manager is a friend/boss and the teen employees can do what they want. Either way something need to be addressed because I like qdoba and the restaurant selection is limited where it's at. read more

I guess the restaurant depends where it is. What state it is in. The couple that I've been to, they are very good. You can obviously choose what you want. I get the burrito. It's probably the biggest burrito I've ever had! The ingredients are fresh, the people making your food are professional. And the prices are very reasonable. I have officially given up on Qdoba. I went there yesterday hoping that someone who knew how to properly "roll" a burrito would be working. They serve so many bowls nowadays that this creates a conflict in the burrito rolling technologies. They cant properly portion and roll burritos. They often do what I call a "fold" where it's kinda sealed up like a letter that comes undone and makes a huge mess that is impossible to eat without a plate and fork. What makes me so upset is that trip after trip to this location and they cannot get it right. I don't want another tortilla, I want a burrito that is rolled up properly so that I can eat it like a burrito. Once the fella making my burrito had the nerve to tell me that what I really wanted was a bowl, this suggestion was made on his 3rd attempt to build my burrito properly. The most frustrating part is being a cook of 26+ years, I could easily hop behind the line and make my own burrito no problem., But I have to sit and watch, sometimes I might make a helpful suggestion. This location always has new management and workers so it must be a problem with the owners. Dined in at 6:30 , while there were takeout orders, no one was in line and we were the only 2 seated. Every table was dirty with food, floor had food all over, kitchen too. It was unappetizing. Furthermore, the chicken bowl was awful, lukewarm chicken, slimy vegetables and wilted salad that looked abs tasted like it had been sitting all day. When I ordered coffee the employee asked me to repeat it twice then turned around abs asked another employee who said " no, not now" I reminded them it was on the menu. I don't often post reviews but the last two visits to the Monument location have been terrible. Poor service - no one in line but me and the kids are busy talking with their friends. Both visits after the "rush " hour and the place was filthy!! The floor in the kitchen area was disgusting and the counter was a mess and not stocked at all. The young man who filled my order and checked me out was too busy talking to his friends and I had to repeat my options over and over. Had to bag my own food because he walked away from register. I am not sure if there was a manager on site - next time, if there is one, I will ask for the manager. There is no excuse for the filth and poor service. read more

I have been in this location a couple of time over the years and it is always dirty. A few months ago I used the survey information on the receipt to let them know. I was very professional and listed very specific issues. They responded, apologized, and sent me a gift card. I went again last night and it is still filthy. I took a couple of pictures but I won't bother including them. Seems apparent that Qdoba doesn't take it seriously. No clean tables, trash cans overflowing and disgusting, floor grimy, black grunge on the exterior door closest to the kitchen where their hands touch it, sneeze guard dirty. It goes on and on. I mean, it's QDOBA. It's pretty solid. It's one of my go-to lunch spots in Monument since there aren't many unique options in the area. You can build your own healthy bowl or try to accumulate as many calories as possible with one of their 25(ish) pound burritos. All of their ingredients are fresh and the restaurant is generally pretty clean. They have a freestyle soda machine, which is always nice to have. Minor nitpicky things. Take the stems out of your cilantro, it's one of the cheapest herbs you can buy. Double check your romaine for the taco salad - I've had to pick out an annoying amount of dirty lettuce leaves. read more
