It's very disappointing how bad this place has gotten. I've been going here for 10+ years and am over it. The meat has so seasoning, the staff shorts all the sauces and ingredients and the ownership has been in hot water for 2 years for stealing people's tips. Their response? My wife ordered the Taco Salad, my brother in law got the Burrito with Carnitas! Surprise, she has carnitas soaked in her mom's recipe green chili! Soooo Good. We also ordered some Ground Beef Nachos with cheese sauce, and quacamole. Everything is so tasty and honestly better than Chipotle. The ingredients are home made mom's recipes. OMG so delicious!! This was my second time in and I have loved my Mama's Smothered Burrito each time! Today, I got it with rice and whole pinto beans (they also have refried pinto beans) and had the lady surprise me with a meat. She gave me carnitas and it is amazing! I had it topped with both red and green chiles plus added jalapeños, onions, cheese, and sour cream. My friend is doing keto and ordered a burrito bowl with just lettuce and carnitas. I recently visited El Burrito Grande in the past few days since it is one of my mom's favorite places to eat in Falcon and was not disappointed. I ended up ordering enchiladas with carnitas and found the flavor to be excellent, especially with the more spicy green chile sauce. The owner was sitting in the restaurant and was really friendly and provided recommendations on what to order. They currently have limited dine-in seating capacity, but it was definitely a place to check out even if you just want to do some take-out. The pricing was really great too, since I was able to get 3 full meals with drinks for under $30. I stopped in here today....hadn't been in for a year or two. I used to think this cool little restaurant was good....a little pricey but worth it. Today I was greeted by a nice young lady who was obviously in training as she asked the other young lady to help her. I ordered a taquito entre. The trainer girl asked me "are you going to get guacamole or anything with it?" She asked me the question like she thought I was going to take her cell phone away for a few minutes. I felt I should say no so I didn't piss her off any more than when I walked in to spend my money there. She says "it's ready". I walk over and she sticks the styrofoam box out at me as she's looking away. I took it and she walked away. Here's my take to the trainer girl- you are ALREADY there so why not maybe smile and act like you're happy I'm there. As far as you training anyone....I feel sorry for them. Grow up...act like an adult and don't treat people like you're walking in to have your wisdom teeth pulled! We ate here the first time and the girl who helped us was friendly and the food was good. The second time the girl very obviously did not want to be there and not only was it an unpleasant experience but the food was bad, like as in the meat didn't taste right and we actually got sick. My daughter went in tonight for a pickup of 4 dad's burritos. When she arrived there were about 10 people inside with no attempts at distancing. The line personnel were not wearing masks and with the lack of distancing cues she wasn't going to get close to the line personnel. When she arrived at home 2 of the 4 were normal dad's burrito size, the other 2 were the kid's size. Plus they were just off enough that they didn't match the order as well as cold from the 10 minute drive home. We've appreciated the food and service over the years, but the lack of courtesy and egregious poor service is not something that I can support anymore. My fiancé and I were craving burritos, decided to try this place rather than a chain, but left wishing we hadn't. We got 3 drinks, an order of cheese and chips, and 3 burritos totaling almost $40! On the plus side we were able to pick what went on our burritos and left mostly full, but there was little to no flavor on anything. The beans were runny as well as the sour cream, the chicken wasn't seasoned at all, nor was the steak, and the chips and cheese made taco bell look gourmet. I have no idea how it has the rating it does on this site unless we just happened to come on the worst day they've had. This is a great little gem. I pulled up and saw it was next to a subway but I try not to eat any fast food. Took a chance and got a large bean and cheese burrito with some salsa and sour cream. They made me enchiladas like this: a flour tortilla with cold shredded cheese inside, sauce on top, and more cold shredded cheese on top. When I asked the lady if she was going to cook it she said that the sauce is warm so it should melt. What??? Not authentic Mexican food at all. Everyone knows that enchiladas need to go in the oven. Major rip-off! Overcharged for a double meat burrito that was never put in the bag! Owner would not return my calls nor did I get the correct order but no refund offered for the over charge.
