Barbacoa taco (couldn't beat my boyfriend to his first taco haha)
Tina K.

AMAZING hole-in-the-wall taco truck. Coming from Houston, TX, I'm super picky about my taco trucks. But they did not disappoint. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend the barbacoa. It was juicy, saucy, and SO tender. I also loved the al pastor taco, and I was especially a fan of the fact that all of their tacos came with plenty of lettuce and cheese. My boyfriend went back for a horchata drink, which was also fabulous. Bring cash and support this small family business! We certainly will be back as soon as we can. Don't be afraid to dig in and get messy!

OK I have to say that this Mexican food truck is the bomb. It even has the appropriate rundown look that you just know the food is going to be awesome. This is without a doubt the best Mexican food I have had and at an incredible price the burritos have to weigh 2 pounds each :-)

Burritos smothered with green chile. Huge!

This wasn't the most amazing Mexican food I have ever had, but it was good, the service was very friendly and fast, and the burritos are huge. Will visit again.

Wow. Not sure how to describe our recent visit…read more The food was great as always but we'll have to see if the pic can show the difference between our orders from the last time we ordered the lettuce tacos. We were there on a Saturday and the service was very very slow. Our server had a definite attitude and wasn't friendly. He took our beverage order and brought us our ice cold beers and didn't come back for over ten minutes to take our order. We asked for more salsa and he brought more back and he asked if we wanted more chips. In the time between reviews, we have visited the restaurant at least four-five times and have recommended to friends and family. Each time we knew we would be charged for the extra salsa and never have been charged for chips too! What made this visit even worse was he brought the tacos out with maybe two slices of red onion for three tacos. We asked for more garnish and he brought us a bowl and preceded to charge us $2.00? Yikes. Anyways not sure if and when we will go back. Service is half the experience and we have never had this issue when the owners are in the restaurant. Hope they fix the issue soon as there is another local restaurant that has had issues and their scores on yelp keep dropping...

Fast service!…read more Tasty breakfast burritos! Packed with eggs and protein! Simple and delicious I will absolutely come back when I need a Burrito in CO Springs. Inside is just a store front. Nothing spectacular but they aren't trying to be fancy. They are good at food and that's all that matters to me.

When I first arrived to the area, it was a godsend as the…read moreprices were reasonable, food was decent enough, and it was right after Covid, and we hadn't been going out. I later tried it for breakfast, and had a terrible, dry breakfast burrito and then noticed how they were making it. The ingredients were sitting in a bin on top of the cooktop flat surface. Not sure why they even bothered to ask me what I wanted in it, 'cause they just slapped whatever they had in that bin, and wrapped it up for me. I asked for ham for the meat choice. It didn't matter, as I got a mix of eggs, fries(huh?), bacon, and ham. The point is it wasn't fresh, the only thing that was fresh was the fact they warmed up the tortilla when they made it. Otherwise the ingredients were not great, and a bit dry. For the most part the restaurant is clean, the employees are friendly enough, and they have a salsa bar, which is always a plus, and typically has fresh ingredients, they manage those pretty well. I visited recently out of convenience, and the food was actually ok. What I didn't care for was how some of their prices doubled for smaller and snack items, and are all around pretty high. Chalk it up to the area or economy, whatever you may want to go with, but there are definitely better places for the price point.
