I went with my daughter for a quick bite . We didn't want a big meal . We ordered pozole and shared chicken tacos with rice . Food was pretty good . Ingredients were fresh . Horchata was very tasty and not overly sweet. Loved chips and salsa . The restaurant staff is very pleasant . We had very nice interactions. I also liked the decor and ambiance. Tried this place for the first time! The inside is so so cute, I'll return just for the ambiance. The service is also great, the people are so friendly and informative about their culture. The food was pretty tasty, you can tell it was good ingredients. It was just a little pricey but it could be because of the quality of ingredients. Their horchata is AMAZING! Amazing Mexico City cuisine. Their salsas are fresh and like none I've had elsewhere. The bar is decorated so well, and the whole place is inviting. The staff is always attentive and helpful. My favorite dish is the chile relleno, but the whole menu is great. Excellent margaritas as well. read more

At 11:45 on a Friday afternoon, only about 3 tables occupied. Iced tea tasted like coffee. Server, who also appeared to be bartender, was absent for about 15 minutes after delivering "cofftea". We left and had a very nice meal, with better pricing, at La Casa Fiesta. This place looks like a dump outside. Inside is actually fairly nice. Won't be back to try the food. read more

Got takeout from here while in Monument. Ordering online can be a bit of a challenge, as matching up the online menu with the ordering system is tricky. Pick up was easy, food was packaged nicely. We got the enchiladas verdes and I shared them with my sister. The sauce on the enchiladas was incredible. I didn't love the rice or beans, but want more of the enchilada sauce on everything! I'd love to go to the restaurant to try other things and drinks! read more

The food is always so good here. I love that they have dishes representing different parts or Mexican/spanish cuisine. The same waiter's are always there and the food is always amazing. Definitely the best representation of Mexican/Spanish dishes in the Springs. Speaking from my experience of living in Texas, California, New Mexico, Florida and Oklahoma. Cute place. I've wanted to stop here for years & I'm glad I finally did. The food was really good. There is a sign up that says they need help & they do. Service was slow but they were kind. Their salsa was absolutely delicious & the home made tortillas were so soft and yummy they really made the tacos. A few things would make this place better seasoning on the meat was lacking& attention to the detail in the order (I asked for some things that were forgotten & I had to remind them of) would go a long way. From being sat by the sweet girl, to the woman explaining the salsa types, to the bartender & everyone in between - service was spectacular! Food was authentic and everything we had was delicious - highly recommend the Salsa Sampler & Posole! Their skinny margaritas were yummy and the bartender Andres was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and personable! I honestly thought that this was a fast food place when I would pass it but it is actually an upscale Mexican restaurant! My husband and I had an amazing date night here and it was the perfect place to enjoy dinner after a stressful day. We both ordered margaritas that were balanced but strong. You can tell they use quality tequila and fresh lime juice for their drinks. After ordering our drinks they brought us out fresh chips and salsa. The chips were warm and you can tell they were fried in house because of their texture. For diner I ordered one of the combo plates that had a little bit of everything. It came with your choice of soup or salad and I choose their delicious pozole. The food was amazing but what truly impressed us was the service. I wanted to like this place. But there were glaring issues that resulted in one star. First of all, the food is very expensive. Most entree items run over $20. I ordered 2 tacos beans and rice. The cost was $17. At that price, the food should not be cold. When the waiter came by with the check, instead, he presented a digital bill with the total cost. I should have asked for a printed receipt to verify. My mistake. When I got home, I realized that on top of the overpriced items, the restaurant charges a 3% service charge. We finally tried this place. There seems to be no shortage of Mexican food in Monument. The interior is done really nicely, considering it is a refurbished something else (Village inn or Denny's maybe). We arrived at 5 and were seated right away. By the time we left, it was pretty full for a Tuesday night. You receive free chips and salsa. The salsas were really good. Between the group of use we had 2 burritos (carnitas and conchinita pibil) 4 tacos (Cochinita pibil, asada) and steak fajitas. The burritos are huge. Inside is meat, rice and beans. They came with a side salad. The cochinita pibil was the favorite meat. The tacos had a lot of meat but my husband felt the flavor of the asada was a bit bland. My daughter thought the fajitas were really good. They came with rice and beans on the side. She had horchata as well and liked it. I tried it and thought it was really sweet. I've never had it before and she said it tasted like it normally does. The service was good. I overheard others and it sounded like there were a lot of regulars. read more

The best Mexican restaurant that we have found in the Springs area since moving here two years ago! This was suggested to me in a local foodies group, as I was looking for some great mole chicken enchiladas. They did not disappoint! My wife got queso fundito and it too was awesome, especially with their homemade corn tortillas. The service was the best service we have had at any restaurant in Colorado. Chips and Salsa were as they say fantastic, but my main food itself of two chicken tacos were not so hot, pretty bland and I'm 80% sure I received canned chicken which is unacceptable for 6 dollars a taco.
