The food was excellent! The chips and salas were home made. I had pork burrito , (sorry do not no real name of the burrito) but it was excellent, mine was ordered in large , had salsa and guacamole on it , as requested by me. Came with a salad on the side all fresh. The restaurant is nice and clean and comfortable. The service is very good and very nice. Don't miss out if you are driving through like I was and hungry for lunch or dinner. Or you live near bye this a place not to miss, I know I won't when I am in the area. Highly recommended! read more

Great food in a high end neighborhood, so the prices are a bit higher. But the food and service are excellent, so many folks are willing to pay! The restaurant itself is collected, clean and bright and nicely decorated. All the food we had was wonderful! As was the margarita we shared. read more

I went with my daughter for a quick bite . We didn't want a big meal . We ordered pozole and shared chicken tacos with rice . Food was pretty good . Ingredients were fresh . Horchata was very tasty and not overly sweet. Loved chips and salsa . The restaurant staff is very pleasant . We had very nice interactions. I also liked the decor and ambiance. This place is a bit pricey . read more

Tried this place for the first time! The inside is so so cute, I'll return just for the ambiance. The service is also great, the people are so friendly and informative about their culture. The food was pretty tasty, you can tell it was good ingredients. It was just a little pricey but it could be because of the quality of ingredients. Their horchata is AMAZING! The ratio is perfect, highly recommend trying that. read more

Good food, in spite of add ons. I ordered the lunch portion of Chicken Enchiladas. The server, he asked of if I wanted rice and beans. I am accustomed to those sides so I side yes please. Although there was an up charge for the sides, I enjoyed the food quite a lot. So, if you don't mind ala carte pricing, come eat here. The food is good! read more

Jarrito Loco - Mexican Near Me - Monument, Colorado

Amazing Mexico City cuisine. Their salsas are fresh and like none I've had elsewhere. The bar is decorated so well, and the whole place is inviting. The staff is always attentive and helpful. My favorite dish is the chile relleno, but the whole menu is great. Excellent margaritas as well. read more

Mediocre all around. Food was bland and expensive, service was below average. Wife warned me not to go, she was right.

I don't get the reviews. I recently ordered the exact same thing from jarrito locos and la casa fiesta and there was no comparison. Jarrito Loco was horrendous. And based on that meal we will never return. The atmosphere is like a Mexican sizzler. The carnitas were the worst I've ever had. Sorry. One and done. read more

Jarrito Loco won me over last night. They have improved so very much since they opened. Their salsa is flavorful and obviously home made. (Try the sampler!) The in-house made chips with tallow are fresh and yummy. I absolutely loved our meal. read more

At 11:45 on a Friday afternoon, only about 3 tables occupied. Iced tea tasted like coffee. Server, who also appeared to be bartender, was absent for about 15 minutes after delivering "cofftea". We left and had a very nice meal, with better pricing, at La Casa Fiesta. This place looks like a dump outside. Inside is actually fairly nice. Won't be back to try the food. read more

Got takeout from here while in Monument. Ordering online can be a bit of a challenge, as matching up the online menu with the ordering system is tricky. Pick up was easy, food was packaged nicely. We got the enchiladas verdes and I shared them with my sister. The sauce on the enchiladas was incredible. I didn't love the rice or beans, but want more of the enchilada sauce on everything! I'd love to go to the restaurant to try other things and drinks! read more

It was our first time there for lunch, and ordered the Chilies En Nogada, it was absolutely nothing short of amazing

Absolutely love this place! The owner Angel is so nice and personable. Every time we have gone it has been top notch! Definitely will continue coming back! read more

It used to be 5 stars. Lately the fajitas are alot of vegetables and not enough meat. For 30 $$$ I'd expect more meat so we dont come as often anymore read more

The food is always so good here. I love that they have dishes representing different parts or Mexican/spanish cuisine. The same waiter's are always there and the food is always amazing. Definitely the best representation of Mexican/Spanish dishes in the Springs. Speaking from my experience of living in Texas, California, New Mexico, Florida and Oklahoma. The Mole de Olla is my favorite soup. read more

Cute place. I've wanted to stop here for years & I'm glad I finally did. The food was really good. There is a sign up that says they need help & they do. Service was slow but they were kind. Their salsa was absolutely delicious & the home made tortillas were so soft and yummy they really made the tacos. A few things would make this place better seasoning on the meat was lacking& attention to the detail in the order (I asked for some things that were forgotten & I had to remind them of) would go a long way. Other than that the unique menu & overall quality make this place a great option. My horchata was the freshest I've had in years. read more

PSA: OUTSIDE LOOKS ARE SO DECEIVING! You NEED to come inside & enjoy the food, service, ambiance, and overall experience! My husband and I have been searching for the best, go-to Mexican food in Colorado Springs and can happily say we've finally found it! From being sat by the sweet girl, to the woman explaining the salsa types, to the bartender & everyone in between - service was spectacular! Food was authentic and everything we had was delicious - highly recommend the Salsa Sampler & Posole! Their skinny margaritas were yummy and the bartender Andres was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and personable! They also have a loyalty rewards program and advertise an all-day every week day happy hour at the bar! We'll absolutely be coming back regularly! So happy to have found this spot! read more

Jarrito Loco - Salsa sampler, large pozole, cochinita pibil (pork) burrito. - Mexican Near Me - Monument, Colorado

The best Mexican restaurant that we have found in the Springs area since moving here two years ago! This was suggested to me in a local foodies group, as I was looking for some great mole chicken enchiladas. They did not disappoint! My wife got queso fundito and it too was awesome, especially with their homemade corn tortillas. The service was the best service we have had at any restaurant in Colorado. I can't recommend this place enough. Our experience was just about perfect! read more

I honestly thought that this was a fast food place when I would pass it but it is actually an upscale Mexican restaurant! My husband and I had an amazing date night here and it was the perfect place to enjoy dinner after a stressful day. We both ordered margaritas that were balanced but strong. You can tell they use quality tequila and fresh lime juice for their drinks. After ordering our drinks they brought us out fresh chips and salsa. The chips were warm and you can tell they were fried in house because of their texture. For diner I ordered one of the combo plates that had a little bit of everything. It came with your choice of soup or salad and I choose their delicious pozole. The food was amazing but what truly impressed us was the service. I have never had such attentive service before and the staff were amazing. read more

Best service and best food ever period. The restaurant was a great vibe and I have a new go to Mexican restaurant

Chicken was dry food was expensive and they charge for chips and salsa not what I expected

Great chips and salsa. Get the salsa sampler. Other food good but overpriced. Servers have attitude as if you aren't worthy of the overpriced food read more

We finally tried this place. There seems to be no shortage of Mexican food in Monument. The interior is done really nicely, considering it is a refurbished something else (Village inn or Denny's maybe). We arrived at 5 and were seated right away. By the time we left, it was pretty full for a Tuesday night. You receive free chips and salsa. The salsas were really good. Between the group of use we had 2 burritos (carnitas and conchinita pibil) 4 tacos (Cochinita pibil, asada) and steak fajitas. The burritos are huge. Inside is meat, rice and beans. They came with a side salad. The cochinita pibil was the favorite meat. The tacos had a lot of meat but my husband felt the flavor of the asada was a bit bland. My daughter thought the fajitas were really good. They came with rice and beans on the side. She had horchata as well and liked it. I tried it and thought it was really sweet. I've never had it before and she said it tasted like it normally does. The service was good. I overheard others and it sounded like there were a lot of regulars. read more

Jarrito Loco - Chips and salsa - Mexican Near Me - Monument, Colorado

Outstanding food. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Mole is a must try. Will go back for sure.

I wanted to like this place. But there were glaring issues that resulted in one star. First of all, the food is very expensive. Most entree items run over $20. I ordered 2 tacos beans and rice. The cost was $17. At that price, the food should not be cold. When the waiter came by with the check, instead, he presented a digital bill with the total cost. I should have asked for a printed receipt to verify. My mistake. When I got home, I realized that on top of the overpriced items, the restaurant charges a 3% service charge. I was not told this was part of the bill. Positive: our waiter was personable. read more

High reviews must've been done by people who worked there. Worst Mexican food I've ever had in my entire life. Food was extremely dry. Everything was reheated food came out. Cold staff were wonderful. Couldn't notice that after taking one bite of everything and asked if we wanted boxes we took nothing home out of 100+ dollars of food. given a one because you can't give zero all the cousins who posted honest review. read more

Absolutely fantastic Mexican food and service. Everything we've had here has been top notch. Highly recommend you visit.

Totally unimpressed by this place - mediocre food at best sold at a high price! The margaritas also lacked any alcohol! I also wasn't impressed by the service I normally only leave good reviews in yelp to highlight the best of places. All this However, sometimes the opposite deserves attention, too. read more

This place is a true Gem! I recommend going out of your way to eat here!! The staff is kind and the owner even works at the restaurant. They make everything fresh except the flour and bread. I was floored at the quality and ambiance considering its location. I repeat, I highly recommend going out of your way to eat here. Delicious and delightful. I took my Pozole to-go and it was thoughtfully packaged to make the trip with no spills. read more

Okay- absolutely 10/10 Mexican restaurant. Seriously SO good. The inside is renovated from when it used to be a Village Inn and it looks so clean and inviting! The staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. They were very attentive and kind. Truly incredible service. Now the food.... Incredible. Best Mexican food you can get in northern Colorado Springs.
