10 women came to La Casa Fiesta for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. The ambiance is perfect, interesting without being overdone. Noise level low. I could hear people at the other end of the table without shouting. The service for us was fast and friendly. I could not believe how quickly our orders came out and I believe everyone ordered something different. I ordered steak tacos. I never order steak but these may have changed my mind. Don't you hate it when you have a disappointing experience at a place you usually trust? That's what happened to us at La Casa Fiesta. We've always found the service to be friendly and reliable, which is why this visit was such a letdown. According to our receipt, our server was "Cinnamon L." We have a few dietary needs that have never been an issue here before, but this time the requests seemed to be met with visible frustration. The food was one of the saltiest I've had in a long time. My mouth felt numb because of it and I dont usually notice stuff like that. Additionally we mentioned a few times that we dont eat meat and got a vegiterian dish but it came with meat even after double checking it wouldn't (apparently it was a misclick on the order screen from the server). The rest of it seemed like it was in a hurry too. The cheese wasnt melted and it seemed thrown together. The chips and salsa were decent. Their Pico was good but the other sauce seemed like straight up just tomato sauce and the spicy green sauce was more spice than flavor. They all come free though and the chips were good so we appreciated it. The staff was nice and for the amount of tables one person had, they were pretty quick. The atmosphere was good with standard Mexican blankets, instruments, etc. They had a few yard glasses (the really long ones with a rounded bottom) which is interesting since those dont have much to do with mexico but they are cool anyway so it still adds to the atmosphere. On our last day at the campground aboard the Air Force Academy, we were hanging out at the Polaris Hotel and started a conversation with a young couple. We asked them where to eat nearby. They suggested a BBQ restaurant, so we told them we were from Texas and had our fill of BBQ. They were also raised in Texas, but now live in the Springs. They then recommended La Casa Fiesta. We went and really glad we did. The dishes were awesome. Chips were excellent and the two types of salsa were very good. I had a combo of cheese enchilada and chile rellano with white sauce; it was delicious. My wife had chicken enchilada and it was also delicious. The green sauce was some of the best we ever had. Service was very good. Food came out hot. Margaritas were on spot. We sat on the patio with shade provided by umbrellas. Lots of plant filled pots all around. I highly recommend La Casa Fiesta. We have been fortunate to have some excellent meals and service during our week at Colorado Springs. read more

A wonderful restaurant with an amazing atmosphere and fantastic staff members. When I arrived at 6:15pm on a Saturday this place was packed with patrons. Even the bar area was filled. Now you can eat at the bar and tables in the bar area. We put in a reservation for 7 and needed to wait for party to arrive. Parking along the street and in their parking area fills up. You can park in the dirt lot to the north of the restaurant but that can be chaotic. The food was excellent and our small group was very happy with their meals. When we moved to the greater Colorado Springs area, we gave up a ton of favorite places in Denver to grab a bite at. Fortunately, we stumbled across La Casa Fiesta in Monument! I'll do my best to describe it... It's ambiance is great. It feels like Casa Bonita married a mom & pop Mexican restaurant and had a kid, and that kid got all of the charm, just not the waterfall, cliff divers, games, etc. It feels very New Mexico. In fact, you can order Christmas (red & green sauces) on most any of the food options. There's fantastic outdoor seating, plenty of lot or street parking, and the food comes out lightning quick. The staff has always been friendly and fast, and the little downtown area of Monument, CO could not be much more charming. Love this place. The combos seem like the best deals on the menu, but the prices are reasonable no matter your choice. read more

My parents, 77 years old, came to have lunch a while ago. The lady next to them overheard their conversation and verbally attacked them. Interjected herself into their conversation and wouldn't quit. Yelling, rude, etc...about how this restaurant is owned by tRump backing people and did they not know they were in a republican town. My parents sat calmly and let her attack them for several minutes. She even told the waiter to "make these people leave." The manager did nothing. Is this how you treat an elderly couple simply there to have lunch? All because one ignorant lady at the table next to them didn't like the topic of their private conversation? The food is meh at best. Arlene's Beans is our new go to when up in Monument. There's been no response from the owners at all on any of my reviews. Speaks volumes. The service was very good and the atmosphere. Of the four people at the table one meal was hot one warm and two were cold in the middle of the food. So guess when the plate is hot because of your microwaved food was frozen. The food was below average. Besides cold you could tell the food was nuked. I was deeply disappointed with this restaurant. It's a beautiful and well kept building. The parking is plentiful and simple. We were seated within minutes of arriving even though they were quite busy. Our waitress seemed annoyed by our table all night. She was short with us, didn't listen well and kept rushing away. It took me three tries to receive the corona beer I ordered. The food was good and it came out fast. It was hot and fresh. Sadly, I was very clear about being a vegetarian and ordered a been and cheese burrito with a sour cream type sauce over it. When I'm not wearing my reading glasses, I can't see especially well right in front of me. I ate the bulk of my meal then had to put my glasses on to read a text message on my phone. To my horror, my burrito was a beef and cheese burrito and I'd consumed 90 percent of it. That made me feel sick and ruined my evening. I felt a bit betrayed by our server that simply didn't seem you want to listen to us. This is an error to make when it comes to strict dietary guidelines. read more

One of the worst beef tacos I've ever had... I mean it. Taco Bell at midnight would have been better. I love supporting local businesses but I'm not sure these owners care about the food. The patios and fireplaces are wonderful, though. Sorry to post a poor review but everytime I give this place a try I'm disappointed. If I could give zero stars I would! Just moved to monument, called this restaurant over a week ago to have our employees holiday celebration for 14 people. We even booked on a Tuesday to make sure it wouldn't be busy. We arrived at 5:45 for our 6 pm reservation At 6:15, we were told just another 5 min. We were seated at 6:45, after watching large parties being sat ahead of us that just arrived. At 630 we were told we didn't even have a reservation even though it was clearly in the books! We finally get seated at 6:45 and for only 12 people !!! We had to wait and squeeze in another table!!! I was so embarrassed and pissed off only to order appetizers to be told they ran out of queso! It was 7 pm, what Mexican restaurant runs out of cheese???? Food was mediocre at best. NEVER EVER again, I'll eat 711 nachos before I ever visit again. They ruined our holiday celebration. The hostesses even the managers were kids that didn't give a darn and seemed to seat every other party leaving us sitting there for an hour?!!! We have been to La Casa Fiesta now three times over the past six years. It has been an up and down experience for sure. First time we went we were undecided and said probably would not go back. My wife is on several local foodie boards so we decided to give it a second chance a year or so ago. We tried the ground beef taco and tostada. We really enjoyed the outing and said we would return. Yesterday, we decided to grab a bite when running errands. Our waitress was fantastic and was very friendly. We went with the Chile Rellenos platter with green sauce with beans and rice along with two chicken enchiladas in red sauce. While we waited, we did enjoy the chips and salsa. The tri colored chips were perfect and we both enjoyed the mild and hot salsa. The restaurant is very vibrant with great decorations throughout. Our orders came and my dish of chicken enchiladas was piping hot. The Chile Rellenos were cold and seemed to be reheated rather than cooked to order. The Chile was tough & hard to even cut through. The coating was very gritty and the cook was a bit dark. I thought the chicken enchiladas were fine but the chicken needed more seasoning. Not sure if we will return--was hoping the third time would be the charm. read more

This place had pretty good vibes! A large outdoor seating area with TVs for sports viewing and such. My wife and I came here to catch up with some friends and the staff was really friendly and expeditious with our meal. I wanted to order the breakfast burrito but the waitress said it wasn't very good. I was disappointed that the burrito wasn't a good option but I was very glad the waitress was willing to tell me that and not let me order something that wasn't very good. Mad props to her. Typical Mexican restaurant. Service is usually decent. We have been coming here for 12 years. Chicken doesn't have much flavor on the tacos and is usually not drained before being added to the tacos. Owners absolutely refuse to make changes (swap flour for corn tortillas) and as a customer, this upsets me. I am willing to pay extra, but they stand firm. Met some family here as a half way point for each of us. Loved the outdoor patio seating area with the fountain. Service was pretty good but they were very busy. Our waitress was very nice but could have come to the table more often to check drinks. The food we had mixed results on. It came to the table very fast and was hot! Always great to see that. I had the carnitas plate and was very impressed! The pork was very tender as it should be with a nice hint of smokey flavor. The best part was the Calabacitas that was the side dish! Why is this not a main dish??? Wow so flavorful! My wife had the taco salad and it lacked flavor and in her words was "just ok". Our kids had the nachos which were chips and melted cheese and the quesadillas which they said had a weird taste. We had our end-of-year softball party catered by La Casa Fiesta. Travis (catering manager) was so friendly and easy to work with. He answered my many questions to ensure I was completely comfortable. They set up all the food, supplied plates/napkins/utensils, and then cleaned it all up! Everyone enjoyed the food, and most people took home to-go boxes! I would absolutely recommend them if you're looking for affordable catering, and we'll certainly be stopping by the restaurant soon! read more
