Today was more of a kid focused event, but my hubby and I are huge on whiskey and the selection here was insane so we will definitely be back for a date night! I asked the gentleman and he said they don't do live music there, but man what a lovely patio if they did! The receipt DOES include suggested tips based on % of total order (including game spending). The tip options should be updated: 1) brought you drinks, brought you food, checked-in to make your experience best. 2) checked on you a couple times, hope it was enjoyable. 3) somewhere between decent and nonexistent. 4) only when you came and asked. The back room pinball machines were moved from the original wall to a different wall. There are fluorescent lights directly above the machines on the new wall, creating glares across the game surface. I have mentioned it a couple times, with no adjustments made yet (been a couple months already). Most recently the guy with beard said "oh yeah" and walked away, never to be seen again until I went to settle my tab later. I wonder if he was interested in which tip option I was going to choose!? Besides his "oh yeah" and pouring my only drink, he never asked if I wanted anything else - I did.

The cup of bacon is fatty, salty, with a tiny bit of sweetness. The ricotta gnocchi bolognese has some amazing fresh gnocchi. The bolognese sauce was okay so it's a fine dish but I probably wouldn't get it again. The duck poutine has delicious fresh fries that end up crisp topped with tons of cheese and gravy. Not a lot of duck, but a great poutine overall. Every item is always a treat and unique and makes me want to try the whole menu.

You can't go wrong with a dessert that has butterscotch, Biscoff, marshmallow and miso. The only criticism I could make was that the tart was pretty loose, but that did not take away from the flavor. To drink this place has lots of beer taps, a good selection of wine and plenty of interesting cocktails. I chose to have a couple beers and they were both very tasty. I would like to come back with additional people so that we could try more of the menu items. We were there on a Saturday and the service was very very slow. Our server had a definite attitude and wasn't friendly. He took our beverage order and brought us our ice cold beers and didn't come back for over ten minutes to take our order. We asked for more salsa and he brought more back and he asked if we wanted more chips. In the time between reviews, we have visited the restaurant at least four-five times and have recommended to friends and family. Each time we knew we would be charged for the extra salsa and never have been charged for chips too! What made this visit even worse was he brought the tacos out with maybe two slices of red onion for three tacos. We asked for more garnish and he brought us a bowl and preceded to charge us $2.00? Yikes. Anyways not sure if and when we will go back. Service is half the experience and we have never had this issue when the owners are in the restaurant. Hope they fix the issue soon as there is another local restaurant that has had issues and their scores on yelp keep dropping...
