Ordered a round of drinks for four and two orders of buffalo wings. Once food arrived from kitchen staff, we saw our waitress only when she delivered our check an hour later. We ordered the steak empanadas and they did not look nice from the outside. It was much more like a shepherds pie, but still didn't quite hit the mark. Ok, not bad. But then we ordered the giant German pretzel, which only came with mustard. You had to order the beer cheese separately. Really odd, because I've always had it offered as a pairing. But, ok, we ordered them both. They brought it out to us and we split it apart to start digging in and immediately I noticed that it was cold. I'm sure they just threw it in a microwave to warm it up, but the heat hadn't been dispersed well, because much of it sat cold. Also there was waaay too much salt on it. The bolognese sauce was okay so it's a fine dish but I probably wouldn't get it again. The duck poutine has delicious fresh fries that end up crisp topped with tons of cheese and gravy. My drink was a mocktail mule, a reccomendation from our server, and it was GREAT. For dessert I got a strawberry mousse and it was so delicious I found myself using my fork to scrape out every last bit of it from the cup. The prices here are quite high: for a bill of 4 drinks (malbec wine and mocktail mule), 2 appetizers (popovers and fried goat cheese- a great combo), 2 steaks (ribeye and filet mignon), and 2 desserts (Yuzu black sesame cake and strawberry mousse), ended up as a bill of about $250 before tip, but it was definitely worth it.
