While some of the items were lacking flavor and seasoning, there are still some delicious items that would have me come back. I got 4 tacos, an adobada, al pastor, carnitas, and a quesabirria. The Al pastor and carnitas were not super flavorful and fell flat. The carnitas were also very wet. Luckily there is a good salsa bar they have here and improves the tacos a lot. The adobada was the most flavorful of the regular street tacos and would order again. The highlight was definitely the quesabirria taco. I had the Pueblo burrito. He had the Tex-Mex burrito. The burritos were really good, quality ingredients. Rice, beans, meat, no gristle, great flavor and size. That said, I didn't think they were worth 16 bucks apiece. Also, why was I charged 16 bucks apiece when the board said they were something like $13.55? For that price I expect chips and salsa with my meal! Maybe a beverage included. It wasn't bad, but I likely won't be back for the price. read more

Wonderful service!!!! My cashier was so very nice and helpful. I wanted to try the food there and see what they have for food/groceries selections, so after a nearby dentist appointment, I went to purchase lunch for the hubby and I. Love the chicharrones, my husband was delighted, he told me that they were the old school ones. I got him the Birria burrito and I got the Sonora one, carna asda. Big and delicious! Looked at their meat department and everything looked so fresh. Found some Mexican bread as well, so couldn't leave without some! Thank you all for great service, food and experience! If you are looking for the best chicharrones--THIS IS IT! The fried pork belly has a lot of meat in it and doesn't have too much fat. The skin is crunchy with the right amount of salt. It's so good that I am hesitant to leave a good review that they might run out of supply (kidding). They are also a carniceria where you can get fresh cuts of meat. They also have a mini grocery shop with canned goods, fresh ingredients, drinks and snacks. They also have good burritos and tacos. Just note that the tacos only have meat in it. You need to go to the area where they store the sides in a cold environment and place some of the sides in your tacos like cilantro, onion, salsa, etc. The store is clean and has tables and chairs near the groceries and also some outside. Everything is great about this place! The food is great and so is the customer service. I've visited several times. The meat market is pretty unique. I always get the birria tacos and my fiancé always gets beef tongue tacos or the breakfast burrito. No complaints! 100% recommend this restaurant. I have to give this place some praise and recognition! This is probably the best restaurant in Falcon right now. The don't over complicate the meals and everything is flavorful. The employees are so generous, kind, and helpful. They have a great salsa bar full of optional add ons. It is small, but they have tables and music playing. They are attached to a meat market that carries a ton of different little things you may need. What really puts them over the top is that you can tell they care about what they are doing here. My rating is for the restaurant food side only. I've had the Barnes location multiple times and it's always been good. This location is good; however, each time I have found something in my food that shouldn't be there such as plastic bag pieces. It's about time this side of town has a carniceria! I can't tell you how much I hate having to drive into town or down south to another meat market just to get carne asada or skirt steak. My family loves the costillas (beef short ribs). I love Sonoras and I'm happy they opened a second location. Great customer service as well as personable! The quality and cuts of meat are so much better than Leonela's (yes I said it!) the restaurant inside is really good too if you want authentic plates.
