Drove past this while going to home depot and thought why not try it. We'll on the way we stopped by and got some food. Food was pretty good but it did take about 45 minutes to get out food. This place is okay. The pork tacos are way to dang Spicy.... they burn going in and burn coming out lol. The crane ones are great and so are the chicken ones. The red sauce is very spicy, the green sauce they have isn't as hot but they charge an .50 extra for it. Probably won't be back but at least I tried it. read more

So poblano mobile has been a local Latin spot I have been going since I moved to Colorado. They offer tacos, tortas, pupusas, and full entree meals. It is authentic Mexican food and it's pretty darn good. The downside is that the menu doesn't have prices and you don't know how much your gonna end up paying. For an order of 4 pupusas, 1 steak plate, 1 hamburger plate with fries, and no drinks we paid $34. Which is normally what you would pay when going to eat for a family of 3. It would be helpful if they had prices on the menu and the receipt. The food smells amazing and you'll start drooling as you approach the truck. You can smell the authentic spices and food cooking. The wait time is about 20 minutes and sometimes quicker depending on what you order. The food was good. They are large portions and well prepared. The sauces pack a punch so if you like spicy you'll love it. The steak was a good size and the pupusas are bigger than normal. My daughter loved her burger and the fries are solid! I like that they offer burgers for kids or those that prefer American food. Overall, it's great food that will leave you satisfied. The only reason I am giving them a 3 star is because they do have clear menu prices. read more

This place has good food but literally the worst customer service in the world. Last time I went we asked for plates to go and they refused to give it to us saying we ordered to go so we can't get plates. Today I got food and brought it home to find no salsa in any of my three containers. I went back to ask for salsa. They made a big fuss about it and literally yelled at me. The young guy in there said "where is the food if you are going to complain about it?" I said it's at home. Do you want me to go back and get it? Mind you I wasn't complaining about the food. I just wanted salsa (and he gave me two little Containers of it for my three orders of food). When I asked for a third he said that I should go home and bring the food back. Why would I lie about salsa? It's just some stupid sauce? This was after I tipped them for this absolute shit customer service. Don't expect to be treated with respect here and make sure you double and triple check your order before you leave. There's plenty of taco options in the springs. I've been coming here for years so I called and explained, thinking since there in a parking lot in a food truck it could just happen and was obviously a mistake and just wanted a refund for this order. The sign says "best in town" which normally means it's probably not. But no question, this place cooks up the best carne asada tacos in Colorado Springs. Closest thing in the area to that LA Mexican food vibe everyone who's been to LA misses when they're not in LA. Remember when you come here that it is a legitimate food truck, not an American cultural "restaurant" so to speak. A lot of reviews about this place would seek to stere you away because of inconsistency on the menu or some standard of cleanliness or hospitality from the staff. Those things can be important, but there's giant bottles of hand sanitizer all over, and it's immigrant families working in a BUS to give you something that will make you gag at the thought of On The Border - get over yourself. If you want something other than freaking white bland chipotle, especially in Colorado Springs, this is your spot. I must say I was close to losing all hope for Mexican food in Colorado but this bus has changed my mind. Went to lunch with my lady here today. Both of us are from southern California, so we both have high standards for Mexican food. When we pulled up we both had a good feeling, it looked right. The signage was right. There was no old white people in sight (clear sign of gross Mexican food). We ordered a plethora of asada tacos and some bean and cheese pupusas. Not disappointed at all! Tasty food! Almost Southern California quality but probably the best you'll find out here. The, I assume, owners were nice. Service was quick. Hot sauce was tasty also. Food Truck, or shall I saw Bus, that normally has seating available inside the bus but was closed when I went due to the COVID-19 situation. They have lots of options such as tacos, burritos, tortas, pupusa's etc. there are no descriptions or prices listed on the menu nor minimal amounts that you have to order per item. I went to order a few tacos of different types and a pupusa and was told I have to order a certain amount of pupusa's for $10 and I have to order 3 tacos but couldn't have three different meats for the tacos. So I got an asada taco and two barbacoa tacos. I tried getting a different meat as well but was told that meat you have to have three tacos of. So it made it a confusing ordering process that could've been avoided if menu prices were up and the menu was explained more. Been going here for over four years. Great food but over the past year the customer service has been terrible. If they mess your order up they don't take responsibility. Got home and was missing 5 tacos out of my 15 taco order... called them just for the lady to yell at me and not refund me or apologize. Went again today and asked for 5 chicken and 5 carne asada the lady with the red hair was so rude and told her i was missing a taco out of my order and didn't believe me. First off, this place is CASH ONLY. We didn't realize until too late and had to go to the liquor store next door for cash back. Other than that, this place is great. Don't be deterred by the sketchy bus appearance. I got chicken tacos ($1.25 each) and my boyfriend got a chicken burrito $6). The tacos are street style, the burrito had rice, guac, beans, and cheese. Ratio of food to cost was really good. The chicken was awesome, nice and shredded and juicy not dried out. If we had more cash on us I probably would have eaten more. Only complaints is it's a small restaurant and it really is unfortunate that they are cash only since we never have cash. Not in the best part of town and a little grungy but that's just where the best food is sometimes! The bus definitely adds uniqueness and you can eat inside. There are places to sit outside as well as they have a couple benches outside. They take card *score* as most places like this only take cash. They offer a good variety of food and a good selection of meat for tacos. I only come for take out because sitting arrangement is not too comfortable and definitely not a place to have little ones. I'm giving a 3 because the owner is a bit rude and the menu outside doesn't match the one inside. I asked for trips tacos and she told me it was not on the menu although it's clearly on the bus menu outside. I also asked for horchata (rice drink) and chicarron tacos and they were out. I've visited a handful of times and they always seem to be out of something. Also, food takes FOREVER to make.
