Three Cheeses Nachos with Toppings

This spot is on the first floor of the building across the street from where I work. Their nachos always hit the spot. I will get their tacos and rice bowls every once in awhile. They remind me of Chipotle, but with fresher ingredients. We'll, I will say that the ingredients at this location have more flavor.

I tried QDoba Mexican Eats for the first time today on my lunch break - it was awesome! I honestly think it's better than Chipotle (cheaper too), it's a similar menu and layout though. You can get free queso and free guacamole on your bowls or salads (unlike chipotle). I tried the create your own bowl with shrimp as my protein - delicious. The portions are generous as well. The staff is very friendly and quick even during the lunch rush of a downtown Chicago Loop weekday. There is plenty of seating available inside the restaurant as well. I definitely recommend checking out QDoba - 5 stars!

Great food and portion sizes, fantastic service. Haven't been able to online order from this location the past 2 weeks, did this location get shut down? :(

I love Qdoba. Food is always great, coming from a Mexican. way better than chipotle.

The food was honestly really good, might be better than Chipotle. The portions definitely were better than Chipotle! The service was great as well. It wasn't that busy when I went so I was able to get my food pretty quickly.

Terrific location. Clean, pleasant employees, and a beggar-free environment make this my favorite Qdoba. They're eager to please here. I don't get hassled for an extra scoop of rice, don't get nickel and dimed because I dared ask for extra sour cream, and there've been at least two occasions where they've offered a free soda...just because. I'm also happy they still separate the tables so they're not crammed together--is it because of the Pandemic, or is it because they know we don't want to sit on top of each other while trying to enjoy a meal. Use their loyalty program and rack up points for freebies.

Chicken bowl

Wow not even kidding this was the best fast food meal I have ever had. This was so delicious they made the food so good. 100% recommend this place.

So the flavor of the meat is pretty good here, however, they pack so much meat inside the tacos that the dang tortilla won't even fold over it and I can't eat the dang taco the way I want to. I needed a fork. If I wanted a burrito bowl I would have ordered one. Ok rant over. My favorite here is the drunken Yardbird taco. It's chicken flavored with tequila lime, cheese, cilantro and it's really tasty. I also tried The Gladiator, which is the steak taco version, but I didn't care for that one too much. The steak comes cubed, and again, way too much meat for my liking and not enough veggies. The chips are a hit or miss. Sometimes they are nicely flavored with a hint of lime salt, sometimes not. But they give you so much chips in the bag that you almost want to order it all the time if you're a tortilla chip addict like I am. Good place for lunch in the loop if you're craving Mexican. Plenty of seats to dine in.

(inquire about the 4% service charge added) No rice or beans with any of my parties' dishes, not sure if that is an option. Time to be seated was less than five minutes for a party of four around 2:20 PM on a Sunday; busier times or days enforce their 90 minute time limit policy per table. The food was well seasoned, wish I tasted it a little more on the meat itself, yet all the vegetables tasted crisp and fresh. If you are looking to have intimate conversations be prepared to speak a lot louder, the DJ booth by the front keeps it pretty lively, but difficult to hold conversations across the table. Open authentic Mexican soda is always refreshing, and if you're looking for a place that has soft serve margaritas this is one of them. If you notice and unusual wait time or slow service please make your choice accordingly as I started to notice it was a case by case basis like some of the previous reviews had mentioned.

Our family fell in love with the food at the restaurant and was very certain we had found our caterers for the big day. Working with Sabor has been a great experience. They helped even with clean up and cake cutting which was a last minute asked and truly appreciated. I definitely recommend and appreciate all they did. I must admit that I had low expectations because quite frankly, I have not enjoyed Mexican food outside of Mexico or California. However, we were hungry, and it was near where we were staying, so I decided we should check it out, and I am so glad we did! The food was great. Both adults and the VERY picky children in our group all enjoyed our meals. I ordered the green chicken enchiladas and the other adult ordered a chile relleno combo, which I also got to try. Everything was delicious and devoured by all! We were so full but the owner talked us into the chocoflan, and we did not regret trying it. It was soooo good! Speaking of the owner, the service was great. We really enjoyed how he and the rest of the staff were very courteous. It is a small establishment, and it gets a good amount of people, so I assume that there are waits during peak hours. I highly recommend Sabroso! And we plan to return the next time we are in the area.

We came later on a Monday night so we did not have to wait to get a seat although it was still pretty busy. The place is decorated nicely. Well on a block with many other Mexican businesses. Located right off the pink line it is very easy to get to and also noted to be near the Mexican art Institute. The chicken mole enchiladas were delicious. Spicy and bitterness of the chocolate balanced super well. rice was also cooked perfectly. The shredded beef dish was short rib and mashed potatoes. They were meant to be assembled into a homemade tortilla - a very interesting concept. The homemade tortillas were so warm and fluffy. I have never had such good tortillas. I took a tamale plate home. It was large and had a good portion of shredded pork. Super flavorful, but also I felt the texture might've been firmer than I would've expected.
