I visited today. There were 2 workers. The man was working the walkins and there was a younger female, twitching around with some kind of banner on (birthday? I didn't look closely). Finally, after completing a DoorDash order that part had been sitting there. After she completed that, I did not see her anything else. FINALLY, she waited on me. I asked for queso & veggies . The staff hadn't bothered to cook more from the lunch rush. I started looking at the veggies to see what I wanted. Nothing had been filled, the entire line was dirty & had not been cleaned up after lunch. SAD!! I paid nearly $6 for a little cup of 3-cheese queso. Just ordered online and I'm missing over half the ingredients I ordered in my bowl. The staff is not trained and don't know how to make the suggested dishes. Nor do they know how to properly ring up the order the correct way. Being over charged for the menus suggested entrees is disturbing to me. Everyone please look at your receipts when leaving. We called after we were double charged for extra chicken when the protein bowl comes with double chicken. If you are seeking Mexican eats, look around. And go somewhere else. I have owned a house in Van Buren for over 10 years and have witnessed exciting changes. Additional businesses on "my" end of Belleville is one of them. BUT... the Belleville Qdoba is simply unappetizing. Competition is stiff for my dollars but the staff, management and owner(s) of this franchise just do not care. How do I know this? The dining room, bathroom, hot and cold line is always unclean. The employees' attitudes? Horrible. Unwelcoming. Nearly rude. WHY do I return? The queso dip. I cannot quit it. My message to the Qdoba family? Encourage your staff to smile when greeting your guests (OH... and DO greet them). Send someone to at least straightened the bathrooms and dining area, even if short staffed. Make eye contact. Smile. While I love Qdoba for all of their tasty gluten free menu items, one of my favorites is their guacamole. On this visit, we had just come from the airport and we're on the way to visit a client, so popped in for a quick lunch. It was only after building my bowl, did I find out they were out of guacamole. This was disappointing as I eat qdoba for their gluten free and dairy free options, so without guac, my bowl was just rice, beans, chicken, veggies, and a small scoop of pico de gallo. This team was absolutely amazing!!! They were very patient, offered to get extra chicken and really loaded up our bowls. When I mentioned how great she filled up the bowl, and how nice everyone was, the employee said something to the effect of "it's just nice to make our customers happy and spread positivity. They answered all of my questions and gave suggestions for what to order. My kids especially liked an employee named Dominic, he even brought drinks and napkins out to our table. They seemed to go out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. With how hard it is to find help now everywhere, it was refreshing to go into a restaurant where every person seemed happy to be there and genuinely interested in providing excellent customer service. This made a mess of the individual ingredient containers, the counters and the floor. It looked as though no one had wiped the counters in hours, and various ingredients were everywhere. I'll admit going in I have never been a fan of Qdoba--their burritos are essentially wheat sacks stuffed with beans and rice. You need to look very hard for the meat and veggies. The burritos I saw going down the assembly line today followed that pattern, but no matter since I'd come to try the salad anyway. I got the shrimp salad, and while the shrimp were scarce and a bit rubbery, the other salad ingredients were fresh and I liked the tequila-lime dressing. Unfortunately, the salad was very small considering I paid $8.50 for it. I passed on the taco shell bowl--that probably would have made it look like i was getting a bigger meal, but I'd ordered the salad to avoid a starch blast. So, I'd really peg the food at @1.5 stars, but I'll toss another star on for the service. The line moved quickly (came just after noon, so the lunch rush was on), and the people at the counter were friendly. Get those people some good food (or even just good menu-item templates) to work with and this place could be a gem. read more

This was definitely a larger Qdoba than most. The staff was almost too professional as I felt like I was in a commercial when going through the line with how nice and courteous the staff was. However, the sign going in said "Training in Progress", so it may have been to set an example for new employees. The food came out fresh, there was no wait in line, and everything was clean. I'm not sure why this location has such bad reviews. I haven't really had a bad experience here. It's a pretty straight forward Qdoba. The staff have always been nice, friendly, and accommodating. I often ask for more fajita veggies and salsa and they always provide it with a smile. Depending on the time of day that you go, there can be a line but it moves pretty quickly. I feel like Qdoba is a good go-to when you want a small treat but still want to get some veggies in. And I like that everything is included so I usually get my guacamole and queso on the side if I opt to get them. One thing that I recently saw that I didn't realize was an option was adding tortilla soup to your burrito or burrito bowl. Apparently, a lot of people do this so I'll have to try it soon. read more

3 strikes you're OUT. This Qudoba is the filthiest I have ever seen. I've dined here 6 times and 5 out of the 6 times was disgustingly dirty. MIOSHA needs to visit this store. Forget about quality ingredients. The lettuce is old and colorless. When I asked if they had a fresh bin of lettuce the employee grumbled then snatched a bin from the opposite end of the counter that was 1/2 filled with more crappy lettuce. He was clearly irritated for whatever reason. Unhappy, he continued to make my veggie bowl with the skimpiest amount of ingredients. I asked for cilantro and got 3 leaves as though it was a decoration versus getting half a handful. Watching my food being made, the ingredient bins had food droppings in it from neighboring food bins. Somehow other Qudoba's manage to keep their food bins clean and not contaminated with cross ingredients. I paid almost $8 for a veggie bowl that was worth $5. The quantity and QUALITY of my meal made me loose my appetite. I ate less than half of it. Honestly, Taco Bell serves better food than this place. I will not dine here ever again. read more

This Qdoba is disappointing. Came in this evening, ordered my food making my way through the line. Made it to check out and the cashier wiped her for head (no gloves) and did not wash after, and kept on checking people out, just as I walked away. Not only putting herself at risk, but customers. I totally get being understaff, however this needs to be addressed immediately. I'm writing this for the family with the 2 little kids who sat trying to eat amongst the greasy filth. Other than the family if 4, the place was empty. The 2 filthy guys with long nasty dreads behind the counter acted like making me a bowl was a huge imposition. He just pointed and wiped his nose on his sleeve continuously. He didn't give me a chance to say yes or no and had to keep walking back. I ate only a quarter of my food and threw it out. My bowl was completely cold with chewy cold chicken. The chips were stale, and the grilled vegetables lay in a pool of cold grease. My stomach has been cramping for an hour. I hope those little kids... about age 3 and 4, are ok. Honestly, probably one of the worst qdoba I've been too. Their workers are incompetent. My recent experience was met with one of their workers rushing me through my order. Which resulted me not getting exactly what I wanted. Understand that it is a fast food restaurant of sorts but when you are doing custom food orders, rushing the customer shouldn't happen. This isn't the first problem I've had with this place either. I've had a past experience we're their workers didn't wear gloves to make food orders.
