I kept trying to give them chances but today is it. not going back. I have to say the staff are probably the most friendly and pleasant people. the food is absolutely terrible. when they have food it's either overcooked (burnt veggies) or undercooked (crunchy veggie). today I got burnt veggies and stale chips. Not going back. So disappointin!

Burrito Bowl

I pay and I tip just for my food to be half of the portion size than it should be. Extremely upset about this. The date is 9/5/2024, the time was 9:30 so whoever is on shift is to blame for this.

So this was my first time getting Qdoba.. it wont be last. I loved the cauliflower bowl. The burrito was a definite hit with my daughter she likes to customize hers so it worked out perfect. It was fast and easy to get delivered from door dash. It was exactly what we ordered along with silverware and napkins which was a win for us! Thanks adam(the guy that packed it) we appreciate ya thinking of the silverware!

If you are seeking Mexican eats, look around. And go somewhere else. I have owned a house in Van Buren for over 10 years and have witnessed exciting changes. Additional businesses on "my" end of Belleville is one of them. BUT... the Belleville Qdoba is simply unappetizing. Competition is stiff for my dollars but the staff, management and owner(s) of this franchise just do not care. How do I know this? The dining room, bathroom, hot and cold line is always unclean. The employees' attitudes? Horrible. Unwelcoming. Nearly rude. WHY do I return? The queso dip. I cannot quit it. My message to the Qdoba family? Encourage your staff to smile when greeting your guests (OH... and DO greet them). Send someone to at least straightened the bathrooms and dining area, even if short staffed. Make eye contact. Smile. It costs ZERO to do those 2 things.

This team was absolutely amazing!!! They were very patient, offered to get extra chicken and really loaded up our bowls. When I mentioned how great she filled up the bowl, and how nice everyone was, the employee said something to the effect of "it's just nice to make our customers happy and spread positivity. They answered all of my questions and gave suggestions for what to order. My kids especially liked an employee named Dominic, he even brought drinks and napkins out to our table. They seemed to go out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. With how hard it is to find help now everywhere, it was refreshing to go into a restaurant where every person seemed happy to be there and genuinely interested in providing excellent customer service. I asked for the team members names and they are: Dani, Tay, Chantelle, and Dom. Because of this experience, we will for sure be eating more q-doba, especially in Belleville. Thank you!!!

Create Your Own Bowl with pickled jalapeño.

Last week, we ordered delivery. They forgot a few ingredients in our nachos/bowl, but corporate sent us 2 free meals. TY. BUT when we ordered today, they messed up again! We asked for salsa on the side, and it was all mixed in. I just wanted to try it and WOW it is hot in the bowl. Also, the "pickled jalapeños" came as pictured. I am disappointed and wish they would get it together.

Friendly staff, quick in and out service and one of the best nachos I've had in a while. Good stuff!

Updated review, the last few times I have come here have been much better. Food is fresh although the chips can be hit or miss. They made our bowl wrong but after telling them they remade it immediately and it only took about 1 minute.

The counters, food prep areas and floor were filthy.

I normally like Qdoba, but this place is a health dept. nighmare! Food all over the prep counters and floor. Meat in the lettuce, beans in the meat, cheese in...everything. the guy making the meals wanted to impress everyone with his speed evidently, as he was literally throwing ingrediants in all directions. This made a mess of the individual ingredient containers, the counters and the floor. It looked as though no one had wiped the counters in hours, and various ingredients were everywhere. Add to that the dirty tables and overflowing trash cans, a good look around and it was adios muchachos for me.

What a sub-par experience. I stopped in with my fiancee…read moreafter the gym because neither of us wanted to cook. I had been to Dos Pesos before many years ago and recalled it being good. She had not, and it was a poor first visit. We were greeted and seated, it took nearly 10 minutes to get water and chips/salsa. In chatting with the waitress we learned about the specials. Quesabirria is something we had been trying more of lately... so we asked about it and if we could get it in different items or if it was only served as tacos. She had to be new... After placing an order, she came back a few minutes later and told us what we ordered couldn't be customized and we needed to order something else... So we got our menus back and ordered completely different entrees. We also had put in an app of queso fundido to come out before the meal. Naturally, it came out at the same time. The queso fundido was extremly soupy. It said it had ranchero sauce in it... but it was basically enchilada sauce with a little cheese and meat... would not recommend for a cheesey app. She ordered a chimichanga with no sour or guac. Which was correct. She said the chimi was very bland. If it wasnt for the rice and beans, her meal would have been terrible. I ordered the fajitas, i paid extra to get steak, shrimp, and chicken... part of what makes fajitas good..... is the sizzler. It comes out still on a hot plate, smelling up the place, and cooking in front of you. My cast iron sizzler was luke warm at best...i think the cheese they tossed on and put it under a broiler/salamander until it melted and it came out. It lacked seasoning.. lacked heat... just an overall bad experience. Such a disappointing dinner. The bathrooms were clean however, and so was the establishment.. so it wont get a one star, but there is sooooo much more that could have gone better.

I might just have a new favorite taco spot in Ypsi. If you're looking for an unassuming restaurant…read morethat provides killer food at a reasonable price - look no further! I've been to Taqueria La Marqueza a few times now and each time has left me wanting to go back immediately. The food is spectacular, and the staff is super friendly; they were really helpful in trying to understand the best options. My personal recommendation: get the Chorizo! It's fantastically seasoned, and truly leaves you wanting to eat about 7 metric tons of it. It's great in the tacos, and their burrito is an excellent value as well. If you're doing a takeout order, my pro-tip is to get some tacos and order a burrito for lunch the next day! The restaurant's red & green salsas are both excellent -- make sure to grab some extra because you'll probably want to drink it with a straw. Still reading the review? Is Taqueria La Marqueza open? If yes, go order some food!

I'm leaving this review because of the way a mistake with my order was handled--not simply because…read morean item was forgotten. I placed a large takeout order at La Marqueza Taqueria and, after getting home, discovered that my $11.56 chicken quesadilla was completely missing from the bag. Mistakes happen. Someone forgetting a quesadilla would not, by itself, have caused me to leave a negative review. What bothered me was the response when I tried to get the situation resolved. The employee told me, essentially, "I'm not giving you anything. I'm not the owner. The owner is out of town for the next two weeks. I don't have contact with him. I'm here by myself. There is no compensation for you." My choices were to drive all the way back to the restaurant so he could make the quesadilla, or drive all the way back to receive my $11.56 refund. That means the restaurant made the mistake, but I had to absorb the time, gas, and inconvenience required to correct it. I wasn't expecting anything outrageous or trying to get free food. I simply asked whether there was anything they could do to acknowledge the fact that their mistake required me to make an additional round trip. There wasn't. What was especially concerning was being told that the person working apparently had no authority to resolve a customer-service problem beyond replacing or refunding the missing item, couldn't contact the owner, and that the owner wouldn't be available for two weeks. A restaurant can make a mistake. What matters is how it handles that mistake. An $11.56 quesadilla turned into a much bigger customer-service issue than it ever needed to be. A simple gesture or even an effort to acknowledge the inconvenience would have gone a long way. Instead, I was basically told: come back for your food, come back for your money, or there's nothing else I can do for you. That experience definitely affected whether I would choose to spend my money here again.
