I don't know why anyone would rate this very high. It's not that it wasn't edible, just lackluster. I wouldn't go again. We had two combo meals- a steak taco and chicken burrito. Mom craved tacos and this place was 7 minutes from her condo. Crunchy beef tacos were fresh and not greasy, chicken Al pastor were well seasoned with red & green salsa on side. Side of beans were huge and delicious for dipping crispy chips! Mom enjoyed the elote as well. We came for the elote and left with plans to return in the very near future. After seeing pics for the elote online my husband had to try it . We also got the papas locos (baked potato with ground steak, pico de gallo, sour cream, and queso). Everything was delicious and the chips and salsa hit the spot. Excited to find this place open three years now, just added a 2nd location in Livonia. After reading dozens of five star reviews around the web, got me in the door. This was our second time trying The Taco Factory, first time was when they first opened. We were not impressed the first time, but thought we'd give them another try since people had said they were better than when they opened. Food was okay, the cheese dip and Chicken Al Pastor tacos were pretty good. The meat on the Torta kept falling out because it is chopped up so small (sized to fit in a taco), if you've ever had a torta elsewhere you would know this is not the norm. First time here and the food is excellent. I tried the steak burrito and taco combinations served with rice and refried beans. Generous food portions and , nicely plated and barely made it to the photo ops! The corn chips and salsa was excellent. Best salsa Ever tasted! Wife tried the pork tacos which will be our absolute taco favorite. Rich flavorful pork served with two soft or hard shell tortillas! The food is decent. This use to be my favorite Mexican restaurant when I first moved to canton 2 years ago. I use to eat here regularly. However, since living here this place has gone down in my eyes. They really charge for so much they never use too (chip refills, extra hot sauce, etc.). The service isn't what it use to be neither. The servers never have the answers to questions and don't really come back and check on you much. I wish this wasn't the case as I use to really enjoy coming here. read more

Sparsely decorated but very clean and quite comfy with terrific food, The Taco Factory is going to be our new favorite place to get legit tacos, margaritas and all our other faves! The staff was very warm and made us feel at home and the service was top notch. The shrimp tacos, fish tacos, and fresh chips and salsa were great but my dinner was AMAZING! I ordered the carne asada, which was terrific! The seasoning of the dish, the veggies, the steak itself were all on point and we'll be back again soon to try the rest of the menu... this place is fairly priced and tucked away in a cool little area I didn't even know was there. It's good. I tend to judge places for what they are, not what they are not. This place feels like a food truck type Mexican food served indoors. It totally works as that. I especially like that it is close by. Canton needed a place like this. I don't know if I'd drive across town for it, though. The pastor, of course, is my meat of choice. Perfect on the torta. I am always happy to see a torta option. I love how the bread holds everything together and gives a bit of texture contrast. Their torta is tasty. I swiped some of my husband's salsa that came with his burrito, and it was delicious. My husband was less into his burrito, but he eats stuff pretty plain and is picky. He liked the enchilada that was in his combo better but still not as much as I enjoyed the torta. I want to come back and get fajitas. They looked and smelled delicious. Portions here are decent. The menu is simple and straightforward with options to suit anyone. Mom got the tilapia tacos and I got the al pastor on special. Everything was delicious. The prices were really fair too, which is the current age of inflation was a breath of fresh air. It was too hot for alcohol, but their margaritas looked good and were fairly priced too. The food has been delicious! Very fresh and tasty. We usually just order street tacos and they are always really good. I love the grilled onion and grilled jalapeño. Sauces are also very tasty. This place is a hidden gem. This was my first time visiting and I was unsure if this was a carry out only or full service. I was pleasantly greeted by staff who immediately sat us. The ambiance is nice. They have tables and booths for full service dining. Our server bought chips and salsa. The salsa tasted from the kitchen. We ordered the birra taco plate, a plate of street tacos, side of rice, and an a side of corn. Everything was delicious. The rice is very fluffy and seasoned. I will be back again. read more

Nice to have some other options in Canton besides Mexican Fiesta but I'd say they're at the same level from a favor standpoint. The fajitas were good but the fish taco was a bit... lacking. It was mostly full of filler (lettuce and tomatoes) with one small piece of fish. I'll try a different taco next time so maybe the fish taco just isn't their focus? The queso with chorizo and as good but if that was the highlight of my dish (compared to my friends who had the fajitas) I wasn't quite as satisfied as they were. We'll give it a try again and I'll explore the menu more. But first impressions is that it's just Ok, you want a quick meal that's decent then this is your spot. read more
