Really frustrated and disappointed with the service and lack of care here. We were told the pants would be ready in a week. Upon arriving, they asked to give them 30 minutes. They rushed through a $600 pair of pants in 30 minutes and their work was a direct reflection of that. They knew I was disappointed with the result and acted like they couldn't fix them until after we paid then said we can bring them back "on another day" and they'd fix them.... please go somewhere else to get your clothes tailored that values your time and business. read more

However, make sure you Google and establish the going rate on the work you want done before leaving your clothes (this is good practice with any service). My latest experience motivated me to write a review. I bought three pair of jeans to Q Tailors to be hemmed and tapered and was quoted a price of $165 ($55 per pant). This price seem exorbitantly high so I consulted the Internet. After a little bit of research, the consensus was that the price should be around $30-$40. I returned, had a conversation with the cashier and she lowered the price to $120 ($40 per pant). However, the cashier stated that she would honor this price if I paid $120 in cash upfront. As I walked to the ATM to get cash, I began to feel like a sucker; the trust was gone. So I turned around, got my jeans, and went to another tailor. Long story short: Great work and craftsmanship on what they do. I would give them five stars but they lost the trust of this customer. read more

Came here to get a dress zipper fixed, they were the best price I could find in a 5 mile radius and that could get the job done on short notice. Drop off and pick up were easy and price paid was what was stated at the beginning. They encouraged to go into one of their fitting rooms to make sure the dress looked good and zipper worked. My search for a quality tailor is over. This is my GO TO guy when I need it done right. I've taken 8 suits to him over the past few months. Gucci. Canali. Valentino. RL. I've lost a little weight recently so I wanted my suits 'slimmed up'. I've had the sleeves lengthened, the pants adjusted and excess material removed from the sleeves. Each time I've been to Estaban I've been happy with the results. This man knows how a suit is supposed to fit. I get the feeling he wouldn't let me walk out of there without getting the most out of the garments I bring him. Esteban and his team are very professional and conscientious. Overpriced and poor quality. I've had two disappointing experiences here. The first time they completely messed up the eye hook on a dress. When I came to try it the first time they seemed very confused about what I wanted- I wish they would've told me they couldn't do it from the start. I was willing to give them a second chance because my husband's family highly recommended them. First to hem a single layer of a dress was going to be $80!! I've paid that much at other locations to have multiple layers hemmed plus the waist and straps adjusted...I decided to just have my pants altered, and I go back a week later on the date designated on my ticket and they haven't started and tell me to come back in half an hour. Will not be returning here; there are much better places around Atlanta that charge less. read more

I recently took an extremely nice sport coat to Q Tailors to have some major alterations performed after my father handed it down to me. Q was recommended to me by a friend after Neiman Marcus said the needed work couldn't be done and refused to work on it. To be fair, I don't blame them for not wanting to take responsibility for a $4000+ coat even though it was originally purchased from them years ago. Everything about my experience at Q was outstanding from the fitting to the finished product! The sport coat now looks like it was custom made for me and fits like a glove. The quality of the work is first class and it's done at a great price. I will be taking two more sport coats to Q in the near future. Obviously I highly recommend Q Tailors to anyone for any job big or small. read more

I would give them a 5, but for their website. I'm petite with a very hourglass shape, so I am always needing to get things shortened or taken in. Q Tailors has always done a good job. From simple hems of casual clothes to full tailoring of a ball gown, they have always done an excellent job in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable price. But, seriously, how hard is it to have a website that lists the correct hours? Their website says they are open til 9pm on Saturday, so I brave weekend traffic to get into Buckhead, brave weekend mall parking lot traffic, and head in, only to find them closed so I am going to have to do this whole thing again either tomorrow or next weekend. This establishment's tailoring is undoubtedly good. My dissatisfaction lies in their customer service, however. I recently paid to have a gown altered and Q Tailor's did not reattach the lining of the gown properly. I paid for same day service for an event I was attending, so I did not have time to return to have them correct this oversight. Needless to say, I was mortified by the fact that my slip was showing all night. I returned to make them aware of this mistake and the front desk assistant, Anna, was aloof, lacked empathy, antagonistic, unapologetic, and left something to be desired to say the least. Esteban was not in at the time so I asked her to have him call me. She said he would, but I never received a call. I now go elsewhere for all of my tailoring needs. I encourage Q Tailor's to provide their front desk staff with the customer service training and/or supervision needed to avoid losing future business. read more

Q Tailors is now my go-to tailor in Atlanta. Esteban is awesome! For the record, I also love St. Marc on Peachtree, but the hours at Q Tailor are far more convenient! (Open daily!) Most importantly, the tailoring here is great! My clothes always come back the way I want them (or at least the way I asked them to be adjusted). The tailoring is neat, and of good quality. Esteban is very friendly, and no matter how busy the shop is, I always seem to be in and out in ten minutes or less. They are reliable, do a very good job of having my clothes ready when they say they will be ready. - As others have noted, they are a little bit expensive. However, I'm not really sure that's their fault. It's not their job to lower prices; it's our job as consumers to decide if we want to pay a stated price or go elsewhere, like we would do at any other shop. read more
