I can't say enough good things about Jung's Tailoring. I needed a very fancy dress for one time occasion. I went to a consignment shop and got a dress that I liked, but was much too big for me. I thought maybe could alter to fit me. They took a look at it and said they could definitely do it. It was extremely well-made to begin with. The finishing on the inside of the dress was very detailed.Jung's got it for me in a couple of days and it looked wonderful! It fit extremely well. On another occasion, I brought in a shirt and a jacket that I thought needed to be altered to look better. They did 192 fabric sewing decorations for the chairs for my mother's Birthday Party Event/Family Reunion she was going to be 90 years old. The sad thing is that she passed away right before the event since everything had to change and put on hold during the pandemic time. So we were planning a funeral instead of her 90th Birthday Party Event/Family Reunion. My heart was broken and saddened. My family thought we should continue the event no matter what happened, but I just couldn't after losing my mother, I wasn't feeling the same way. They did continue with the event I didn't participate in it, I was too broken and hurt. Even though this happened in 2021, I'm still missing my mom. But the Taylor did a phenomenal job!!! read more

Gave a bridesmaid dress to her, and two weeks later she had done everything we talked about, which included tightening the chest and waist of the dress and sew on some sleeve additions to the dress. She even helped me pick out the right length of heels to wear for the length of dress I had. All for a reasonable price! I am so very sadden and disappointed with the alterations of my dress from this shop. I just spent crying over how I left a brand new cute linen sundress from FarmRio for alterations, around bust area. In one week, when I picked up the garment, could no longer zip dress up. She made dress so tight around waist, I couldn't zip up. The breast part that I wanted snug, it was still loose. The dress had a cute flair at bottom which made it so cute, she cute it completely straight where dress had no more flow or style. I was to wear to birthday party in Miami tomorrow but now I'm up trying to find a new outfit to wear. I didn't try on in shop because she gave it to me folded on hanger and I was in a rush. I will never do this again. It's like they dry cleaned my dress as it felt different and shrunken. It was an expensive dress that got on sale but paying what I paid to have it ruined hurts me so bad. I have a great seamstress but they were not going to be able to have dressed altered by when I needed as they were going to be closed Thanksgiving week. I thought I found a new great seamstress. I took my bridal suit here to get altered. This included hemming and taking in my pants at the waist, as well as shortening the sleeves and taking in the jacket at the waist. The pants and sleeves turned out great. Unfortunately, although I hoped to get mileage from the suit after the ceremony, the jacket has very limited use now because it cannot be worn buttoned up. After alterations, the flaps on the back do not lay flat and do not even lay on top of each other when worn. They form a V and you can see my pants between the jacket flaps. I'm quite disappointed because the items were ready by the stated day and time, but in the end, the jacket is not perfect for my wedding day. That said, I would consider Jungs for simple tailoring like hemming. For more complicated work or on precious alterations, you may want to look elsewhere. read more

I have used Jungs for fancy dress alterations and hemming pants - always with great results. Recently, my husband bought me a long denim coat and it was too big. I found Jungs last minute - 8 days before my wedding. They were able to do exactly what I was hoping for - adding in a new closure piece on an intricate lace robe and taking in the straps on a slip. But she also suggested removing/adjusting some ties I had on the robe and reinforcing the new closure. All of this was done within two business days. Color me shocked and so pleased! It was ready when promised and pricing seemed fair (hard for me to gauge this) but I was in a pinch and would've paid for the turnaround. Definitely recommend! read more

I came in needing to get a bridesmaid dress taken in and shortened. The dress ended up fitting perfectly. But the alteration cost me more than the price of the dress. Getting it tucked in was $50 and shortening it was an additional $25 because the dress had three layers. I chose to leave the last layer long just to save a few bucks. Lastly, she managed to do all of it in a few days even though I was turned away from nearby shops because they wouldn't be alter it on time. read more

I've always been glad I took my clothes to Jung's. I buy cheap clothes at Ross and their ilk, and when something I like gets damaged, I just take it to Jung's and invest a little more. The repairs don't even cost very much (as a repeat customer, I've even occasionally been given a freebie). In fact, let me tell that story. My wife's hook-and-loop skirt closures fare poorly in the wash, and I brought in a skirt to have that closure replaced and stitched on more securely. The seamstress asked if I'd be back later that day or if I needed a ticket, and I said I'd be back the same day, and how much did I owe her? She insisted it would be free, and I promptly forgot about coming back. I did return a week and a half later, ashamed, and she smiled broadly and handed me my wife's skirt right away. I insisted on paying but she would have none of it. Mind you, I usually pay about $10 per repair, $20 if it's something particularly involved (like reconstructing a thick tiered skirt with a gathered hem that had come almost completely undone), and those are well worth it. So far, I've never had to bring any given piece back for more repairs -- which tells me she's doing a better job than the manufacturers. read more

I used to live over in this area and visited Jungs quite a bit for alterations since I am quite petite (5 feet tall). Even though I have moved away, I still drive up to drop off my items here. It was amazing that the owner remembered me even though it had been years since I visited. Wow. She will ask you to try on your items and will pin them while you are wearing them. If you are getting long pants or dresses hemmed, make sure to bring the shoes that you are going to wear with them. The price seems reasonable. And they are turned around in quick amount of time. If anything is wrong with your item, the owner will redo it for you. read more

Colossal disappointment. This place keeps you waiting over 1/2 hour to deliver shoddy craftsmanship and leave your clothes smelling awful. The pant cuff they hemmed fell apart while I was still in their store! Awful customer service and rude people.
