I also asked them to do a simple filing of the sides so that the tip of my acrylic wasn't larger than my nail bed itself. Instead of asking me to clarify, my nail tech started talking about me in a degrading manner to her coworker and I know this because I had live google translate on my lap for 30 mins of the appointment. Once I was ready to pay she said "You don't have cash?!"... I didn't notice anywhere online or in the store that said cash only and so she took my card. Before charging me, the lady who did my nails and one of her coworkers went back and forth on the price for me as well and it was not aligned with their prices on the poster inside of the salon. This is a borderline fraudulent nail salon and I work hard for my money and it was egregiously wasted. read more

Instead of using the latest product to easily take off gel nails, the technician insisted on soaking my nails with acetone. I complained that my fingers were burning after 20 min...she said it needed more time - arguing this was the better way. After she completed a so so pedicure, she finally got to my throbbing fingernails. The soaking didn't do a good job of getting the gel off my nails after all. My nails hurt at this point. I couldn't take more so she scraped and sanded to try to get it off. She didn't do a good job of getting the nails even after applying my regular polish, they look a mess. The lengths are not consistent and the skin around my nails is peeling. She charged me $77 for the not so great pedicure and terrible manicure. Never again! read more

The ladies were all very friendly and the lady that helped me was very attentive to my needs of...embarrassingly ingrown toe nails. I upgraded to the deluxe pedicure...so worth it! Got to pick my choices of spa packet of detox for my feet ( I chose the mint eucalyptus)...extra steps of leg masque, scrub and lotion. Plus a nice soothing massage. Felt amazing! She took her time and wasn't rushed to take care of the pedicure..great selections for gel polishes. I chose a fun design for one of my fingers and she was very obliging. These lady's were so nice! Took my grand daughter for her 3rd birthday for her first manicure. She loves to have her nails painted, and the ladies made the event so much more special for her. I brought my daughter and her oldest daughter with us (everyone deserves some pampering, right?) and they did a great job on their nails too. They were patient and kind, even retouched the 3yo nails a couple of times because she was just too excited to be still for long. This little shop is a gem. My husband and I went for 2 pedicures. We were greeted as soon as we entered by each of the staff with welcoming smiles and Hellos. Definitely go to q nails if you want crooked uneven nails! They're so good at that. On top of their dirty salon. They always use a dirty file on me that they used on someone else, you can clearly see that it's been used.. they also have so many other violations in their salon... stay away. I asked to have my crooked nails evened out then she got aggressive and shoved the nail file into the side of my nail and cut me 3 different times on three different nails. I tried to get over it but decided I should probably call them about my experience. The lady that did my nails answered, she called me a liar and said, "if you don't like them don't come back!" And then she hung up on me. So I called her back and told her I'm reporting her dirty salon to the board and then all the sudden wanted me to come back in and she apologized... please never go here. I was in desperate need of a pedicure while visiting my mom. A quick search of Yelp showed this was a good place. And once again, Yelpers were correct! We got a same day appointment for 2 pedicures. No wait when we arrived. The salon was clean, the technicians friendly. They had just gotten brand new pedicure chairs, so that was a bonus! The massage feature was the best I've ever had on one of those chairs. The pedicure was pretty average as far as that goes. No upselling for stone massage, callous remover, wax treatment, etc--the pedicure was just one price--which was nice. My mom and I went yesterday to do manicure and pedicure. I called at 5:50pm on Saturday, and they said that they will still accommodate us although they're closing at 6. They were very welcoming and did a great job. Gel for my mom and regular for me, it cost $58+ $35 = $93, I left $100 because we liked the job. Girls names were respectively B-Loan and Lyna - thank you! We'll definitely return! Before yesterday we were going for a long time to Magic Nails on Division, but last time we went there I said to myself - this was the last time, because they were not doing really good job and made us come back several times for nothing because they did not receive the product. this is the best manicure place in st cloud that i have been to; it's the forth ive tried. it would get a 4 star if it were in a big city with more competition but it gets a 5'er cause it aint. sure, when you call and they say they can take you "now" it may mean you have to wait 20 minutes, but that is pretty typical in my experience. ive been twice now and they have been great in terms of quality. at other places in town they do crap cuticle work and don't paint down all the way- this counts as you can go an extra week or so on a gel manicure. i of course push it til the new nail is as lengthy as the painted bit. they even stayed open late once to finish. they have done three coats when necessary. prices are about the same as anywhere else. save yourself the time and just come here. read more

My mom and I were in St. Cloud overnight and we wanted to get a mani pedi while in town. We called at 9 and made appts for 10am. We got there and there were a few others wrapping up but we didn't have to wait long. The pedicures were great and the manicures were excellent. My mom got gel nails and I got acrylics. I am no Prima Donna - just visually challenged to the point where I am as likely to nip off the end of my toe as the nail! LOL! Two words for Q Nails - HOLY COW! The facility is clean, organized, open and the chairs come with massage. The staff are friendly, professional, knowledgable and skilled. The gal who worked with me did an AWESOME job! Very detail- oriented, gentle and a nice, long foot massage! The cost is EXTREMELY reasonable. Frankly, I would have paid twice as much for the fine job & give a lot more stars! I like this place since it's close to where I live. They've always been nice to me and do a good job. I've gotten the tips/acrylic and then just the gel nails and I like the gel nails better. They also give you a mini hand massage with lotion at the end. Price for my gel manicure was around $30ish. read more

I go to Q nails all the time and I always get what I pay for but this last time I went they jacked up my nails they were crooked and uneven and one tip was cracked but I assumed they noticed and would fix it but they didn't and there was nail polish all over my fingers I was very unhappy so I demanded they fix them or I would report them and get them shut down so they fixed them the person who did my nails is Lisa don't have her do them ever I always have Ly do them and she is amazing at what she does! read more

2pm appointment for a fill I didn't get started until 2:20. The gentleman who helped me picked his nose before seating me. I was not acknowledged during my fill. I asked for a design from their selection and the up charge was more than my fill. My nails have chunks missing from the sides (breaking points) they are not files very smooth. When I Googled nail salons in St. Cloud last week, this was the one I knew I should go to. But a coworker recommended the place she goes to. It was a disaster. I didn't get what I wanted in the slightest, and my acrylic nails were barely attached to my nails! 20 minutes later, I was at Q Nails, almost in tears begging them to take the acrylics off. Everyone in the salon was so nice and caring. The patience, and precision the woman took removing my nails was astounding, she kept warning me that my nails would hurt, and they never did. She told me to wait a week, and the come back to get them done again. Today I did. Luckily I got the same lovely woman. She did exactly what I wanted with the precision and care I couldn't have dreamed of. I don't get my nails done very often, but I'll never go anywhere else. I was very disappointed with this nail salon. We had eight girls in our group all getting manicures and pedicures for an upcoming wedding. We had made reservations far in advance, yet there were only two people working in the nail salon, we all had to wait a very long time to receive the services we had requested. Within the first hour with only 2 people done, they called in a man to help with all of the pedicures and manicures since other people continued to come in for services but were turned away due to our large group. We felt very rushed, and after seeing how my nails turned out, I know that I could have done a better job on my nails if I would have done them myself. The nail wasn't completely covered with paint and it was uneven. When I was trying to find the nail color for my nails, I tried them on my nails ahead of time, all of their polish was really old, clumpy and goopy. My cousins had half of their glitter nail polish chip off by the next morning. I was also disappointed since the price on the Locality.com website showed $33 for their Mani-Pedi combo, whereas we all paid $35 each not including tax and tip. Everyone knows that weddings can be very expensive and this includes being in the wedding party, I was doing the research to find the most affordable hair and nail salons with good yelp ratings for the entire group, so it is disappointing when the prices are higher in the store than listed online.
