That is how my time at Ceder Street Salon felt with Robin. I have never received such a good haircut for my type of hair and how I like to wear it. She took the time to explain why what I was doing was not working the way I wanted it to. What the new looks are for my face and length of hair. Her communication with me about what I wanted and what kind of time I had to style it resulted in an amazing haircut I love ever time I look in the mirror. I was blown away by her skills, knowledge and personality. As for my pedi- that was outstanding too. Ceder Street just has the spa feeling with amazing products and yet affordable. I would give them a try if you are in need of something new.

I also asked them to do a simple filing of the sides so that the tip of my acrylic wasn't larger than my nail bed itself. Instead of asking me to clarify, my nail tech started talking about me in a degrading manner to her coworker and I know this because I had live google translate on my lap for 30 mins of the appointment. Once I was ready to pay she said "You don't have cash?!"... I didn't notice anywhere online or in the store that said cash only and so she took my card. Before charging me, the lady who did my nails and one of her coworkers went back and forth on the price for me as well and it was not aligned with their prices on the poster inside of the salon. This is a borderline fraudulent nail salon and I work hard for my money and it was egregiously wasted.

I complained that my fingers were burning after 20 min...she said it needed more time - arguing this was the better way. After she completed a so so pedicure, she finally got to my throbbing fingernails. The soaking didn't do a good job of getting the gel off my nails after all. My nails hurt at this point. I couldn't take more so she scraped and sanded to try to get it off. She didn't do a good job of getting the nails even after applying my regular polish, they look a mess. The lengths are not consistent and the skin around my nails is peeling. She charged me $77 for the not so great pedicure and terrible manicure. Never again!

So incredibly frustrated with my experience today. They were extremely unprofessional. I could tell…read morethey double booked and didn't account for the design time. He was rushing and annoyed. I did specify design when I made my appointment. But they argued with me and said I didn't. Then double checked and saw I was right. I had two designs picked out, hoping one of them would work. When I sat down and showed it, she said she could do it. And I had 3 colors picked out. Then once she has my prior powder dip off this guy comes over and says they don't do 3 color ombré and hands me some 2 color ombres they can do. So I picked something they could do and he sits down and takes over. I put my phone down in front of him showing the original picture. And he gets an attitude saying I just told you I can't do that. I said I just wanted to ask about the glitter on top... to see if you have something similar. He said ok fine... what glitter you want? And someone hands him one and he says you can do this one. So incredibly condescending the whole time. They didn't allot enough time to include a design. They said you can't do a design with ombré. Which is something they should have said when I made the appointment or at least when I got there and showed the picture. He was rushing and not doing a very good job. If they would have said when I made the appointment or even when I got there and showed both pictures, that it wasn't possible then I would have just left. But getting more and more frustrated by your own inadequacies and your own scheduling errors... I wouldn't waste your time or money on this location. I recommend avoiding at all costs. Ps, the design I had picked out I have had done before successfully elsewhere. First pic is what I wanted. Second pic is end results.
