The salon generally does a good job on gel manicures. They recently remodeled the salon which looks good. However, the last time I was there, they caused extreme damage to my nails by using a drill to remove the gel nail polish. It is taking months for the damaged nail to grow out and consequently get back my healthy nails. So I won't go back for a gel manicure unless I insist that no nail drills are used. (By the way, I noted that in their inspection report, they were cited for using nail drills "not intended for human use". I think I found a nail drill similar to the one they used on Amazon, which was marketed for manicures - but maybe the regulators don't "approve" of its use.) read more

Love this place.... will always come back. Had so-so experiences with Howie, but I had Mary today and she was so nice and took her time even though they were super busy!! I will be asking for her next time. Main gal of the place welcomed me in despite the rush, got my old gel off between clients, and finally sat me down with Mary. They always offer something to drink, and are so so nice. My personal experiences of nail salons is that you are just another set of hands and they try to get you in and out as quickly as possible. BEWARE! CROOKS! I wish I could give a zero stars. My daughter went to CJ's today for a fill and her friend got a new set of acrylics and when all was said and done they charged my daughter MORE for her fill than her friend for a full set despite what their pricing signage says. In addition, my daughter wanted a specific design done on her nails for prom and they of course did their own thing and did not take into account what she requested at all. This is not the first time this has happened at this establishment and we will not be back! I suggest you save your money and go to a reputable establishment. read more

Very frustrated! I brought my daughter here for a gel manicure. It clearly states on their door that a student manicure is $15 and the women told me on the phone that gel is $10 more. So $25 total. After it was all done they told me it was $33 and said the price on the door was wrong and they wouldn't budge. Really? What a lie! I will never go back here again read more

I drove from Big Lake because this salon had the highest reviews and I am glad I did! Very nice staff,very clean shop, and even though they were packed I only waited 10 minutes. I have been here regularly for the last year and a half and have been pretty satisfied with their quality and workmanship. I've been to numerous places but this place is the best so far. And I mean I've been all over the place in MN alone---but other parts of the US as well. They are clean and the staff super friendly. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone. Some of the staff may have limited English speaking capabilities---but there's always someone there that can help out in clarifying or translating. So no worries there. read more

I am a stylist at another salon. I have gone through the state sanitation class that all salons go through. As I am sitting in my pedicure chair right now, it is very obvious that they take very good care of their salon! The facility is well cleaned (after tedious inspection of my pedi foot bath) and they don't talk to you unless you want them to or if they have a question about length or filing preference etc. I enjoy this because I don't really care for small talk when getting services done. For the price, the work was very nicely done. I'm pretty anal about my nails and I am perfectly satisfied! Staff was very friendly too! read more

This salon was recommended to me so I decided to check them out. When I arrived the owner greeted me. I told her, I wanted a pink and white fill to which she replied, I only needed a pink fill. I've never heard of a pink fill, but what the heck. I was directed to the technician that was going to do my nails. He never told me his name or asked me mine. I thought, well, no biggie. I'm here to get my nails done, not to chat. I showed the tech a picture of how I like my nails (long, narrow, straight and slightly curved at the ends). What I got was short, straight on one side, crooked on the other and just plain horrible. I was so upset. The tech wouldn't listen to what I was telling him. Now I need to figure out where else to go, hopefully ASAP so I don't have to look at these too long. I'm so disappointed and will never go back. I will say, the salon was very clean. read more

The employee kept trying to do gel when I told him 5 times I wanted acrylic. He also glued all of the skin on my fingers to my nails. I was also told I couldn't get a glitter accent nail or gems put on unless I got gel nails. To top it off, he tried overcharging my by $7. Awful experience and I will never be going back. read more

I am here from San Diego visiting my friend. While she was at work I was looking to get a little pampered. This place set me up. They took me right away when I walked in and even helped me pick a color to match a bridesmaid dress I will be wearing this weekend. Very attentive and friendly staff. This salon and spa offers a nice range of items not just limited to manicures and pedicures. I was very excited to be offered a MENU for their pedicures when I went in, and treated myself to a hot stone massage and sugar scrub. It's a very clean environment, and the staff are all very friendly and good at holding a conversation if you are a talker. I will be back! read more

Probably the worst manicure I've received. I've been here a few times before and have had OKAY experiences, but this last one was the final straw. I got there and they weren't busy, but I was rushed through the whole manicure process. They even skipped steps like soaking my nails to soften the cuticles. The nail technician cut my cuticles a few times (whatever, it happens) but then blamed it on my hands being dry...when they didn't soak them first. I then asked them to shorten my nails and they laughed at me and said "really?!". My nails were all different shapes and lengths and when I asked them to please fix them, they sighed and barely filed them again. My gel nail polish chipped within two days. I'll spend the extra gas money to go somewhere else. read more

Went in for a pedicure since my work consists of a lot of walking, she cut my nails short without me telling, or asking me how I wanted them, I only want them to clean soak and massage my feet! She then cut it wrong causing an in grown toe nail and now I'm constantly walking in pain. read more

I wish you could give zero stars! My mother and I went to just get a simple color change for our fingers. Upon entering they told us they were too busy and to come back in an hour, which was fine. What was not fine was their professionalism and technique which was non existent and off. For starters the tables they use are filthy. I laid my hands on the counter to start and was mortified when I felt the grit and old remnants of someone else's nails on my hand. I am a HUGE sanitary germaphobe being I work in the medical field and this was UNACCEPTABLE to me. The woman who did my nails denied what I wanted to do and told me I would have to pick a more expensive way to do it if I wanted it done. When I opted to just do a simpler design she seemed a little angry and seemed to not do her job to the best ability. She didn't remove my old polish completely so now I have a black outline around my cuticles where it should be clear. When she was handling my fingers she would just flick my hand away when she wanted the other one. My mother had just cut her finger and had a bandaid on her ring finger nail and the male filing her nails filed her bandaid like he had no care in the world and wasn't paying attention! Overall I am very disappointed and dissatisfied and I will not return and I will not recommend it to any of my friends. read more
